Dollar Car Rental - Pensacola International Airport

My employer booked me a rental car through PNS airport Dollar. I was a little worried due to the poor reviews I had seen on Google. However I had a great experience. I landed around 4pm, and walked straight to baggage claim. The baggage claim is within eye sight of the rental car counters. I noticed only one person in line for Dollar, so I decided to try and get my car before my bags were on the carousel. Needless to say within 3 minutes at the counter I had my paperwork for the rental done before the baggage carousel started turning. Also, maybe I got lucky but my rental agreement said I was suppose to be in a “Chevy Spark or similar” (sub-compact), but they gave me a brand new Nissan “Kicks” SUV.
I was driving out of the airport at 4:32pm.

After reading some reviews, I was skeptical of how renting from Dollar Car would go, but it proved to be a very pleasant experience. I waited in line for the rental for about 45 minutes before being helped, but when I got to the counter the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to get the keys in a matter of minutes, and I got upgraded to a nicer car for free. Other than that, the experience went exactly as you would expect a rental car service to go - there were no issues and returning the car was straightforward and easy.

Reasonably priced, two easy contract extensions, clean relatively low mileage (32,000 miles +/-) car.

Great experience with Dollar Car Rental! We booked online through a third party, but we had no issues. We paid for a small sedan and were updated to a beautiful SUV at no extra charge. The staff at the desk and at the return booth were very helpful. The car itself was very clean and in great condition. No complaints at all!

We had a really nice experience with Dollar in the Pensacola Airport. Paula was the lady that helped us and she was so nice - she gave us a recommendation for a restaurant (even though we didn't get to go). We were able to get our vehicle about a half hour early because our flight landed a little sooner than planned and exiting the airport was way easier than we thought.

The only thing that I found interesting was that we were told we were getting a free upgrade and ended up with a Chevrolet Equinox. We had originally rented a "midsize SUV", which in my book, is a Chevrolet Equinox. It was a nice vehicle for sure, but it was just your regular run-of-the-mill vehicle. No upgrades on the vehicle like remote start, leather seats, etc. Not what I would consider an upgrade.

Excellent service. Went above and beyond to help. The car was clean and in great condition. Would recommend! I didn’t catch the guys name that waited on me but he made my day with his understanding and helpfulness. (Tattoos and cool hat dude)

Absolutely the smoothest rental experience I have had. Got to the counter and my car was not available. No big deal, they upgraded me to a Charger for free. Prepaid for gas, got the car and drove it all over the panhandle for next few days. The car was clean and well maintained although about 30 mins into my trip from pickup, I turned the AC on and could smell a very strong odor of cigarette smoke. It lingered the entire trip but it wasn't a huge issue. Another great thing was I had to turn the car in a day early because my travel plans changed. And where other rental places have cancelled my "deal/discount" for changing the travel package (upwards of $200 that I've had to pay extra) this place not only got everything switched to the earlier date without any questions but didn't charge me for changing the contract. I've never experienced that before. The drop off was incredibly easy as well. Also worth mentioning- the counter is directly across from the baggage claim belt which is super convenient and the car pick up and drop off are right outside the door as well-in the parking garage. This will be the only place I will rent from, from this point on. Great experience. Great customer service

Krista was so helpful! I had gone to Pensacola to visit for a friends wedding. My plans changed while I was there and I was going to need to change my pick up date last min. I had contacted a different rental place and they had quoted me over $1000 just to change the pickup day by 1 day! She was able to help me fix my dates and keep my promotional price for the car. We picked up our Ford Edge at the Pensacola, FL airport. The pick up was quick, the representative was friendly and thorough, and gave great directions for finding the car. I was shocked to see the mileage on the car already because it appeared brand new! It was beautifully cleaned inside and out. I will definitely recommend this rental service and be using them again as long as my son is stationed there with the Navy.

I set this up for my inlaws online via priceline. Decent rates and good locations for pickup/drop off. We needed the car earlier than we scheduled and they found us one. We had to pay a little more for a bigger size car but that was fine for us.

We rented a car from the Pensacola Airport and our flight was an hour late, so when we got there we were tired and hungry. Ashley was a breath of fresh air. Check in was easy, and she got us on our way quickly!! Great customer service. We will definitely use Dollar next time we are in town!! 😁

Every time I deal with and of the Dollar counters as well as this location I have the best experience. I have had some not so great ones with the customer service line, but when I pick up the car or deal with locals, I always have a smooth, positive experience.

Amazing customer service today! Kelvin is amazing he took care of me and was just super helpful. Realised I was an active duty service member here to suprise family for Christmas and took care of me and went above and beyond. Merry Christmas and happy new year to him.... GIVE HIM A PROMOTION!!!

Cars are clean, staff is always friendly, and prices are the lowest here. I traveled here a few times for work and they were always good for me.

Got my car today here. Friendly staff, no upselling horror. Just a solid and fast service. Nothing to complain.
