Avon Park Diner

Not much to complain about here. The waitress was very friendly, and it was plenty busy. About the only thing that wasn't thrilling about the visit was that I wasn't real impressed with the sausage patties that came with my breakfast. Fairly dry, so I questioned the freshness. Rest of the meal was great to have with a friend.

Nice atmosphere. Excellent wait staff who are friendly and very attentive. The food was very good. Prices are reasonable considering the cost of everyday goods. Great experience.

We went with a local AP friend wasn't sure what to expect.. the whole place was great from the super clean restrooms to the super nice staff...I had probably one of the best piping hot Patty melts ever.. If I lived there I would definitely be a regular! All of the staff were super friendly too!

I went there recently with a friend. I got the bacon burger and I was shocked on how well it tasted. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. My friend ordered just a basic grilled cheese and even she was impressed with the flavor. The service was good, the environment was a typical diner environment but seemed clean and not too loud. We are going again today, give it a shot!

Delicious food. Great deserts. Service excellent. Wait time was quick especially on a Sunday after church. Less than 5 minutes. Recommend going here!

Great place for families and friends to gather for a good home cooked meal. Very friendly staff, quick service and generous portions. Even though we live in Lake Placid when we make a trip to Avon Park we always stop for a meal and have never been disappointed!

My son and I went to the Diner around 11. I wanted breakfast, my son wanted a burger. It was a nice surprise when they offered a complimentary bowl of soup. My breakfast was great, and my sons Texas burger was big. The portions at this diner are great. We always end up bringing leftovers home.

My mom and went there prior to going on a cruise that was leaving out of MIami it was wonderful great size helpings we are now off the cruise and stopping by to do a pick up on our way home

A clean and friendly diner located on Hwy 27 in Avon Park. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. But you won't go wrong either meal. I had the Patty Melt w/ a side of fries. Both were prepared nicely quite tasty. My guest ordered biscuits and gravy w/ a side of grits. Creamy grits and no lumps, biscuits & gravy were perfect !

My wife and I love this place. We talk about checking out other places but when it comes time to go out for breakfast, we always wind up here.

Stopped by for breakfast. Greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. 2 minutes later drinking coffee. And, not much than 10 minutes later eating breakfast. Really tough to beat that kind of service.

Decently priced menu. Clean and modern atmosphere. Hand sanitizer placed in every table. Large sized plates. Servers are very attentive with refilling coffee. Opened from 6am-3pm.

This place knows how to cook breakfast. We ate there twice during our week vacay. Omelet, home fries, biscuit, gravy, bacon, French toast...yummmm. Service was friendly and prompt. Priced average.

Wow! This place is great! The prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The food was delicious, and the amount of food we received was beyond our expectations. The menu is very diverse with many options to choose from, and breakfast is served all day. The sandwich pictured is the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The chicken breast is bigger than the bun and I had to cut it into fours to eat! (And still took half of it home) They offer complimentary soup as well. Our drinks never went empty, there's hand sanitizer at each table, and it's an overall homey place. The only thing is, they're only open 6am-3pm. Maybe they will have dinner hours in the future, because I sure wouldn't mind going for supper 😊. I definitely recommend Avon Park Diner if you're looking for a new spot.

Outstanding customer service even during lunch on Mother's day. Food was prepared perfectly and fresh! Try the cheeseburger wrap. It was delicious! Plenty of parking in the lot.
