Agapi Bistro + Garden

Loooove this place. This funky little spot offers so much to the food community of Pensacola. I went here once for my birthday and then again for my anniversary. The waitresses we've had during both visits have been very pleasant and it seems like the staff just really loves to welcome every customer with open arms. The food itself is an experience that's hard to pass up. From the ever changing menus to the wine flights, there's a little bit of everything for everyone. This last time we visited we gave the chef tour a try. The chef was kind and you could tell that he was passionate about the food and dishes he serves. This man is an excellent chef. He asks you if you have any food allergies and what items you may not be the biggest fan of in the food world and shapes your 4 courses to your taste while also offering combinations of flavors that are exciting and innovative. The only complaint I have about the restaurant is the size. The inside room is pretty snug, offering a few arrangements of tables and a singular unisex bathroom. There's outdoor seating that is very nice and more spacious, so you at least have some options. I recommend putting in a reservation -- this place gets packed quick!

Agapi lives up to the hype!

From the delightful and knowledgeable staff to the authentic Greek vibes, they truly nail it. They understand the art of not rushing you out the door, giving you the full Greek experience.

The outdoor atmosphere was perfect, complementing the weather perfectly. Now, let's get to the food—oh my, it's a whole other level! The pictures don't do justice to the amazing flavors. We went for the family meza selections and every bite was a delight. The Cervantes Crab stole the show with its rich flavor and generous crab portions. And don't get me started on the Octopus—it was like cutting through butter, tender and perfectly marinated. We're already planning our next visit to explore more of the menu!

We have been dining in Pensacola for 8+ years and this place was a hidden gem. The food was spectacular. The menu is large and slightly overwhelming, but just ask for what they are known for, and you won’t go wrong. We didn’t have one bad thing. The liquor selection could expand, but overall, it’s a great spot. Note - the restaurant is super small!

Wow! This place is so amazing. Gyro nachos but made with pita bread (my favorite) Calamari fries, char grilled Octopus, elk tenderloin and ceared pheasant. Definitely will be back. If I'm picky I wouldn't order the char octopus because for us we couldn't taste anything but the char. The octopus was also very pricy for 4 peices. The happy hour menu was so delicious and very reasonable on price. Everything was so great no stars needed to be taken away, this was just my opinion on all the food. Amazing and delicious food.

We were really surprised by everything! Quality, taste and service couldn't be better. We ordered the watermelon poke and crispy artichoke as appetizers, both delicious but the watermelon is unexpectedly good! As main entrance we got vegan Kebab and vegan chicken parm with polenta, again it couldn't be better. You must try!
Ps: they allow dogs in the patio :)

First off, the menu here is outstanding, I wanted to try pretty much everything on the menu. We arrived for our reservation on time but things were moving kinda slow but the manager was very nice and tried to make us as comfortable as possible. It was wet and cold the only seats were outside but it was covered and by a heater. Which was fine. From the drinks to the entrees, the presentation was outstanding. Highlights were the poached octopus w/ charred lemon and Gulf Scamp Cervantes, although we plan on being back soon to try even more delicacies. Definitely a must try!

This restaurant has been on my mind non-stop since my visit! The incredible fusion of cultural flavors has left me yearning to go back for more. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was just perfect. What's more, they have a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. I highly recommend the Greek-A-Rican if you're a fan of mojitos!

First time eating here. What an experience the food the presentation and the service was excellent. We started with the fried green tomatoes with bacon jam.. my partner had breakfast tacos. I had the Greek frittata and it was delicious.

The food here is superb.
The chef de cuisine Lawrence visits your table when ordering the tasting menu. Which is always fun when you get to discuss food with the chef.
That's the main reasons we return is the variety. A new tasting menu EVERY MONTH. Keeps it fun and fresh and new.
The staff are always cordial and the cocktails are very tasty.
I've chosen this restaurant for my anniversary and my birthday. It doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend.

My partner and I went here as a date night and all we can say is that this place far beyond exceeded our expectations! Chris was our server and made excellent recommendations and descriptions of the food items. His knowledge of the menu was impressive. The April Special Pheasant we ordered as one of our main entrees was outstanding. THIS MUST BE ADDED to the core menu! All the flavors were delicate and precise. Amazing flavor. The appetizer of the Gyro Nachos were an unexpected change from most restaurants and were absolutely delicious, the best I have ever tried! We will be back again. Agapi, please keep up the amazing work you do to provide immaculate flavor to your guests!

My partner and I had a wonderful birthday dinner here. All the food was AMAZING. We had the lamb chops and chargrilled steak. We will 100% be back. The staff and environment was absolutely lovely as well. Our waitress Jenny was the best!

Amazing food. I tolerate brussel sprouts and hate green beans but went for seconds, thirds, fourths, etc. Menu changed monthly. The steak bites were like butter. Attentive service without being intrusive.

This place has over the top food! We ate in their outside dining area and the experience was more than enjoyable. Our server was extremely skilled and well versed on the establishment. Birthday wishes were actually conveyed on the menu when we sat down at our table. Very thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!!

Great menu with delicious vegan options! Service was great and the outdoor seating has heaters so it is pretty comfortable even in the winter.

Amazing top quality food and service. It is nice to have somewhere that has both vegan (and vegetarian and gluten-free) and non-vegan specialties that are top notch. Usually, it is one or the other but rarely in Pensacola is there one place that offers an amazing dining experience for everyone, vegan and non-vegan alike - this is that place! The quality and presentation of our food was fantastic, and every bite was a flavor adventure. Would highly recommend! Great menu with a good variety of food and drinks.

Oh my goodness, one of my Pensacola bucket list restaurants, and it's all that I hoped it would be.
First off, please make a reservation. With that being said you can look forward to an amazing experience. We decided to sit outside, it was soo cozy. Service was impeccable, Mason was a jewel! We started off with Oysters Skopelos, they were amazing. With just a hint of spice, absolutely delicious. Then we ordered the scamp and shrimp over rice with broccolini, cooked to perfection! For dessert I had the creme brulee with apples, to DIE FOR! My friend had the baklava cheesecake and it was decadent! I had the absolute best time of my life!

We had our company lunch meeting at their big room, and we had a great experience! The server was attentive and nice, the room was cozy and it had a home feeling to it, and the menu has great options. I had the Lamb Burger with sweet potato fries, and I wish I could give a 10 stars review. It's a must try!

We always have wonderful meals at Agapi Bistro every time we are there! For this latest meal we had crab moussaka, scamp Cervantes, scallops and grits and shrimp pasta with truffle cream sauce. 😋 Delicious!
They have a great wine selection and a very friendly staff.

My friend suggested this spot and at first, I doubted her decision. I’m just routined to going to the same five ‘best’ restaurants in Pensacola. My husband and I left like… Agapi is the best all-around restaurant we’ve eaten at in Pensacola. How does such a small, somewhat hidden gem exist and we just now discovered it?! Watermelon poke is delish. Bread is fire. We tried octopus for the first time and it was great. The steak was hands-down best we’ve had in Pensacola, and the Greek salad was downright amazing. Desserts were even better (bourbon brownie with the little ice cream, yum). I don’t usually leave reviews on the first night but….. everything was exceptional, even the service was great. It’s exciting to find places to eat that are off the beaten path, have a cozy vibe, and really great food. We will definitely be back and I think I’ll be talking about this place until I come back for seconds!
