Cafe Avanti

Cafe Avanti was a fantastic experience! We went late on a Saturday evening, the weekend following Thanksgiving. There were not many patrons, presumably due to travel and home-cooked meals, however parking was a little weird. We parked in the back, but everything worked out well. They do not have a strict dress code. The service was top notch. Our waiter was experienced, well-versed in the menu, and on top of everything. His recommendations were excellent as well. For appetizers, we had the Carpaccio Di Manzo (not my favorite)and the Meatballs (so good). For entrees, we had the chicken parmesan and the lasagna both were really good. The wine was excellent as well! Highly recommend.

Always amazing service by Cafe Avanti! I have been coming here for years with my family, and it has always been amazing. The service is very good, and the people that work there are nice. It is one of my favorite restaurants.

This is one of my family favorite Italian places. Family run and the owner is very nice. We ordered our food for my birthday and everything was delicious. The chicken parmigiana is fantastic and probably the best you will try on Miami Beach. They also include fresh bruschetta and baguette rolls that are baked fresh on premises.

We made a last-minute reservation for a party of 12, and the restaurant was incredibly accommodating. The overall experience, from the welcoming atmosphere to the delicious food, was excellent. After reading reviews that praised the veal, we decided to try it, and everyone was right—it truly lived up to the hype and did not disappoint. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. We go once a week and it’s family friendly and so consistent.
Chicken parm, veal meatballs, arugula salad are some of my favorites. The staff and Louie are top notch and always make you feel at home.

Everything you want in a good restaurant. Great food (Italian), great service and not outrageous prices. In town for only a few days and didn't know the area, took a chance, glad we did.

Don’t have enough great things to say about this place. It’s a family style Italian restaurant with great and generous drinks, friendly staff, and great food.

I love the chicken parm but my wife likes the seafood (salmon).

Owners always there working too. It shows.

I walked over and placed it to go order for chicken Parmesan, and it was ready within 15 minutes, and was absolutely delicious! The staff was Very friendly! I definitely recommend this place and will Go back as it’s right around the corner from my house And the food has always been wonderful!

Considering the busy weekend when we visited I was impressed with the service and hospitality.

The food was cooked to order, arrived hot and the waiting staff were knowledgeable and extremely courteous.

Food and wine was excellent and if in the area would definitely visit again.

I'm so glad we opted for here. Ruben was our waiter. We had decided not to get an appetizer but the way he described the special sounded to good not to get.... and it was worth it. My husband got the veal and I got the carbonara. He said his was cooked perfectly.
Beautiful resteraunt, the staff was helpful and attentive with out hovering or being intrusive.

Had dinner at Cafe Avanti last night and WOW! So good!! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a date night or intimate place for dinner! Avoid the crowds and loud restaurants in south beach and try this mid beach legend! Been around for DECADES!!

This is a great spot if your looking for good food without the crowds...this is a local spot that did not disappoint! Great steaks and pasta! Don't forget dessert it won't disappoint!

After craving pasta all day, I popped into Café Avanti for a post-work dinner and glass of wine. I arrived a little after 6:00 p.m. on a Monday and cozied up at the bar. I was warmly greeted by the bartender, Ana, who immediately felt like a friend. I ordered the Pollo Fiorentina, which is sauteed with lemon and white wine served over spinach. The chicken was PERFECTLY cooked – it was tasty, delicate, and a large portion (definitely took half home for leftovers). With that said, I did not get my pasta fix, so I ordered off-menu, taking a cue from my bar-mate who is a regular. He ordered a penne vodka to-go for his kids, so I ordered the same. I have very high standards for penne vodka and this is one of the best I’ve ever had – layers of flavor!

I dined alone, but the general ambiance and family-like atmosphere make this a kid-friendly restaurant – there were kids of all ages having dinner with their families throughout the restaurant.

The food is moderately priced and worth every penny.

I definitely plan on returning to Café Avanti for its spectacular food (so many things on the menu that I want to try), amazing service, and great vibes. You will feel right at home at this local neighborhood spot where you are greeted with warm smiles.

The food is fresh and made to order. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and you forget that your in Miami. The prices are reasonable and its walking distance from the boardwalk. I highly recommend this location.

I finally found a restaurant that makes delicious veal - it’s not fried!!!! And the white table cloth, attentive staff, amazing service. Overall Quality is all 6 stars. This place is family owned and off the main touristic area. It will our spot for Italian food. Highly recommend

Food was so good I didn't want to leave! Even though the main chef had retired a few years ago, he still makes the desserts, so do NOT skip out on dessert-- especially the Ricotta Cheesecake! Best I ever had.

After a long, tiring weekend celebrating my bachelorette party with my girlfriends, we were longing for a delicious, Italian meal before we headed back to New Jersey. Cafe Avanti was able to accommodate our party of 9 last minute, sitting us at a round table, where we were able to talk and enjoy each others company throughout dinner. Rubin, our server, was amazing, as was the other staff. The food did not disappoint and was exactly what we were looking for. We were so happy to have stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. It was such a nice relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable end to a fun-filled weekend. I can’t wait to come back! xo

Lots of food! Great portions and very reasonable price, service was great , Ruben and Gerardo were great at all times. I went for lunch and from food to dessert it was super delicious! !!😃
