I have buried many people in my family and I know that it’s a business but at Mason’s funeral home it was like a family the reception the love the feeling they understood what I was going through. I had a wonderful experience with Gregg L Mason Funeral Home. My mother passed unexpectedly on 6/19/2023. I had moved to Miami in April of 2022, lost my father in May of 2022, and had to fly back to NY to take care of his cremation, which was made easier because a family friend was in the business, and took care of his last wishes. I was looking for a place here in Miami that would be able to make taking care of my mother’s cremation just as easy and non-stressful. I saw favorable reviews, so I called Gregg L. Mason Funeral Home. I dealt with Ben, and he was SO kind! I was so overwhelmed, and he and the rest of the staff were so comforting! They checked in on me during and after my mother’s cremation. They still keep in contact. This is the difference in using a family-owned business! I highly recommend Gregg L. Mason! My mom is now home with me, and Gregg K. Mason treated me like family. I appreciate everything they did for me.

We appreciate all that Gregg L. Mason has done for us. The Celebration of Life is complete. We feel as though a burden has been lifted. Major thanks to Mario. Greg Mason and his staff went beyond the call of duty. The professionalism was impeccable. The young man Benjamin personalized closing remarks touched our heart and was on point. It was a very difficult time when I found out that my dad had passed away. I did not do that much research other than on the basic detail of pricing. Shortly afterwards I found out that my dad had passed away. I called the funeral home of Gregg L. Mason at 3a or 4a in the morning , shortly after my dad passed away and they were able to get him and handle the process for me. That gave me time to get my nerves together so a couple of hours later I was at the funeral home arranging the funeral home details with them. and everything went smoothly.
I am use to family members dying but nothing can prepare you for the lost of a love one especially an immediate family member. I am just glad to know that this funeral home made things less complicated and I was able to not only afford for a lovely funeral for my dad but I was able to pay for it before his funeral took place.
I am forever grateful and thankful for the kindness of the staff at Gregg L. Mason funeral home. They made me feel like family especially since I am the last one in the family. Gregg and his staff family were amazing to my family. He did my mother 19 years ago. And the way he took care of her we had to use him for my father. He will always be the one to care for our future families if it's needed. He understood our needs and insure it was done the way we're like it. I so ever love him and his staff family. Everyone at Gregg L Mason Funeral Home was so kind and helpful. When my uncle passed, I had to manage everything from my home in Seattle, Washington and I had so many questions and needed so much help from people who were actually "on the ground" in Florida where he lived and everyone at Gregg Mason worked tirelessly to help me navigate a very difficult situation, both with the actual loss of my uncle and the complexity of trying to manage things from all the way across the country. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult and emotional processes that life provides. The entire staff of Mason funeral home was exceptionally kind, caring, and helpful. They assisted our family through the entire process of sending my fathers body out of the country to his final resting place. Very appreciative.

My mom passed away at home. She had made arrangements in advance at a funeral home in Ohio, where we are originally from but she had since changed her wishes. However, we had never contacted anyone local. My neighbors and first responders all recommended Gregg Mason and I was of course familiar with the location I had driven by for many years. From the initial call the staff was courteous and respectful. I only needed cremation services as she wanted to have her ashes placed in family plot in Ohio. Mario explained everything step by step and answered questions and provided advice such as how many of each type of death certificate to order. He also worked with my sister in Ohio regarding payment arrangements. There was also some additional questions and request I had after the initial meeting and the staff explained the options and were able to fulfill the request. Mario also explained the paperwork I’d need to be sure I kept with the ashes when flying to Ohio. The costs were explained and was in the range I expected. Even for a basic service, I felt I received top level care.
