Dr. Eric S. Markman, DDS

Dr. Markman and staff have been my dentist for several years now. He is a very caring dentist and does beautiful work. I have worked for dentists in the past where a patient would get a crown or fillings and have to come back several times for adjustments. Not the case with Dr. Markman, he is a master at his craft! There aren't many single practitioner offices anymore where you can walk in and the dentist be the same one you saw last time and where they know you and treat your whole family. Be respectful of his time and his office and he will be respectful to you, same rule applies to anyone! And you never know, you just might get lucky and hear him sing during your appointment! I was extremely impressed with Dr. Markman and staff! I suffered MAJOR trauma in 2015 from a face first 40 ft fall to a marble floor. Barely survived, and after 25 days in trauma then rehab for PT & OT. I was beyond lucky, although my face (14 hr facial reconstruction) was badly damaged, Archbars holding my jaw in place for 2.5 months, lost 5 teeth, cracked many others etc. I had half my dental done in Houston where the accident occurred in late 2015-2016. Wasn’t a fan of my Houston Dentist.
Finishing the last of my dental work led me to Dr Markman by recommendation. I was treated so well and Dr Markman was very positive at all times. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a kind, honest Doctor. Treatment plan underway and I can’t wait to get going and finish my last major hurdle from the fall.
I highly recommend Dr Markman, as you’ll get an honest, kind, and extremely talented Dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Markman for 19 years. I will never go anywhere else. He knows dentistry and his hygienist is awesome. My brother in law is an Endodontist* . I broke a tooth late one night, was leaving for AZ the next day, went to Dr. Markman early that morning with no appt. He took me in, made a crown & I was on my way. My sister* insisted that crown was a temporary. That was in 2003 and I still have it. He actually has the Patterson equipment and is trained to make permanent crowns. I have highly recommended Dr. Markman to many and none have been disappointed. He’s the real deal !!

1st time customer a year ago. I had no issues, staff was fine. The dentist has an interesting sense of humor, makes for a fun visit. I like that he is a straight shooter, I don't need BS in my life. Thanks Doc!

I'm a little shocked by any negative reviews here from people involving missed appointments. After further review, it seems most the complainers can't get their calendars straight. I've been to Dr Markman 3 x's at this point (with a 4th to come) and I have found him and his staff to be nothing but nice, respectful with quality work. I would highly recommend Dr. Markman, I think the rest of you might need time management.

For over fifteen years, my wife and I have been under Dr. Markman's care. He is extremely professional
with a highly trained staff. He is most highly recommended.

I am horrified by the behavior of this Dentist and his staff. Their lack of professionalism and common courtesy is like none I've ever witnessed. I was given a quote of $62 by Bethany for two fillings and upon completion of the dental work, I was charged $172 by Carrie. When I questioned them about the significant price difference, I was told that the initial quote was an error, but that there was nothing they could do to rectify the situation. I asked Carrie if I could speak to the Dentist himself, thinking that he would shed some light on the situation. I was in total disbelief when Dr. Markman came out into the lobby raising his voice at me. He said that I was lucky that the price wasn't higher and that I should be willing to pay whatever the cost to take care of my teeth. I actually had to ask him to lower his voice. I couldn't believe that he would talk to a patient, especially a woman in that manner. As a Nurse at an Oncology Clinic, I am well aware of how patients should be treated and that wasn't it. I blame myself for not reading the negative reviews before establishing care with Dr. Markman and his clinic. I would give them zero stars if I could.

The worst experience I've ever had, first off the front desk receptionist have no idea how to verify insurance eligibility. One receptionist gave me a quote two weeks later at my appointment a different quote from the other receptionist. I verify insurance constantly for a living, it's not hard to do at all. Then on top of that the dental hygienist completely destroyed my gums during my cleaning!!! She made my gums bleed and even when I told her she did not become more gentle. Also, the dentist tried to give me health advice as if he was an actual doctor who practices family medicine. This place is a scam, just a warning for all.

Made an appointment and told the receptionists that I might have to cancel. I called 24 hours before the appointment and cancelled. The receptionists told me it was no problem. A week later, Dr. Markman sent me a bill in the mail for $50.00. I asked what the bill was for, and he told me it was because I cancelled. I explained that I called the receptionists in advance, who told me it was fine and that I wouldn't be charged. He refused and insisted to be paid $50.00 or it would be sent to collections. Obviously, I'd rather pay the $50.00 than deal with the headache on my credit. However, myself and 5 other family members all would use him for dentistry for the last 5 years. He just ended up losing 5 customers over a $50.00 B.S. charge. Obviously, a true idiot of a dentist who has no concept of common courtesy and cares only about immediate money. Don't expect his practice to be there much longer.
