Retro barber/stylists who specializes in modern cuts/fades and hard to cut hair. Kids to adults. Walk ins welcome but call ahead, they’re always busy. Super laid back and friendly. My husband has been getting cuts from Juan for years and they are incredible. Juan’s attention to detail, personality and style all make for not only a great haircut but also a great experience. El Cid Barbershop has great vibes - an old school but minimalistic look! It’s the kind of place you’d show up early just to hang out with people and the barbers. The location is great too! So close to downtown and easy parking in the back. Whether you want to stop in when you’re vacationing or if you want to become a regular - I HIGHLY recommend giving Juan your business. I truly can’t say enough good things.

Best barbershop in town!!! Everything from the atmosphere to the cut, it is always top notch. 10/10 I would highly recommend Juan and the rest of the team to anyone looking to get a fade/cut/trim and a one-of-a-kind experience. Don't forget to check out the perfumery on your way out!

Tremendous experience! Definitely more than just a haircut. I got the whole treatment and it is well worth the money; beard trim and shaping, straight razor shave and hot towel treatment, shoulder massage, a fresh haircut, and a spray of designer cologne, and a surprise pair of free sunglasses for me and my daughter. I'm not gonna lie, I would have paid much more than I did. The owner takes pride in the experience he gives to his customers!

Easily 5 stars for Brandon @ El Cid. Tall, younger guy working there. I always get a skin fade - and I don’t have a lot of hair left, so only a good barber can still make a cut look really good. Brandon was 100%. And the overall vibes of the barbershop were good, too. Just a relaxing, chill atmosphere where you don’t mind spending an hour of your day. Tune out the outside world. Let your mind relax. Sit back and enjoy a nice cut. Highly recommend the shop. But if you go - book with Brandon. And book online in advance - I don’t think walk-ins are easy to come by at a place like this. Will absolutely be back.

Flew in from out of town for a wedding. Couldn't get in with my hometown barber, and was anxious about going to a new place in WPB. Called in and was able to be seen right away by Brandon. The man understood the assignment. Very detail-oriented and customer-centered service. Highly recommend booking an apt with him.

The haircuts speak for themselves. Juan is a master with the clips. The shop and location is modern and uniquely elegant. El Cid also has a tremendous variety of fragrances to choose from. Juan runs through all the different types of fragrances with much knowledge. I was desiring to start a collection and he helped me walk through where I should start. I love the cologne I just purchased and looking forward to getting many more!

Incredible place, all around. Before coming to El Cid and meeting Juan, my cuts were hit or miss and generally an experience I preferred to avoid. Now, with Juan, they are on point - 10/10 times. The attention to the little details is what really stands out to me. Besides an excellent haircut, the atmosphere is top notch. Friendly and relaxing vibes make for an escape from the daily grind. Nothing in West Palm Beach compares to the staff at El Cid. Let me say it again - when it comes to either a barbershop, or an individual barber, you can’t beat El Cid and the members of the El Cid team. Seems they have actually improved over the last month somehow. Great stuff!

The fade was so good and they lined me up so crispy that when I came home my wife didn’t want me to leave the house for a week! She said I looked too good. They even sprayed this nice cologne on at the end instead of after shave. I left the chair looking and smelling sensational.

I’m not one to have a regular barber, I would need a haircut and just pick the closest place and move on. Since meeting Juan that has totally changed, he’s been my regular monthly cut for over two years now and will continue to be. It’s a great style every time and he’s a solid dude who spends time to know not just my hair but me as a person. I can not say enough good things about him and his crew; very cool, professional people. I only hesitate to post this because I don’t need other people taking my slots. You won’t be disappointed, make your appointment!

Syamar is the best!! I have longer hair so I don’t like going to a barber for haircuts and I also don’t like going to salons.

Syamar knows how to do both and was able to give me something in between! 5/5 stars and I’ll be coming back very soon :)

Juan is the ultimate professional. I have been blessed and honored to watch his business grow over the last 5 years. His skill set is world-class. His attention to detail is unmatched in my experience. And he is a wonderful family man of high integrity. He is the only barber I will have for the rest of my life. And now that I work from home, I drive an hour to get to his shop.

I brought my stepson into El CID barbershop. We did not have an appointment and arrived for a haircut. Brandon was just finishing up with another customer and got him in his chair immediately. My stepson loved his new fluffy hairstyle look! Brandon understood and cut his hair exactly the he wanted. We will definitely be back!

I don’t get my haircut often, and usually have a hard time taking care of my hair. Usually I’ll get tired of it after about 8 months and go to a barbershop to get it cut.

I booked an appointment with Syamar, and from the moment I walked in she talked me through what we’d be doing and why. It was perhaps the best experience I’ve had at a barbershop. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and encouraging.

Oh and my hair turned out great too. She does an excellent job.
