Peaceful, paved walking trail through a small area of beautiful “Florida woods.” The live oak trees here are huge and absolutely stunning! There are signs throughout your walk that feature photos and information about the trees and plants. It is located directly off Congress Ave, so the “peacefulness” is up for debate. May not be for someone looking for a quiet, longer trail without hearing cars go by from a short distance.

amazing shady walk in east delray! we walked the nature trail and paved trails which were both beautiful, shady, and felt so calming. definitely not crazy long but a great stop for a calming walk.

There are tons of cabbage palm trees and lots of beauty berries. We didn’t see much wildlife but there are some holes that I think turtles live in that we saw.

A beautiful little park with wonderful Flora and some abundant fauna. The trail isn't very long but it does a great job at bringing you into nature, as best as it can, while being surrounded by civilization. For a quick trek or some avid bird watching. It is a worthwhile place to visit to feel just a bit of an escape from the hustle and bustle.

Highlight of my trip, besides nature as a whole and hanging out with friends as we ventured through the park, was seeing a pretty large gopher tortoise. Pretty damn cool.

Enjoy and respect nature.

What a cute little walking path! There is limited parking, but it is the perfect little path to unwind and get a few steps in!

It is a short walk but it is a great park to go have a break in the nature.

It has limited parking spots. If you cannot find a parking there is a close natural area called Yamato Scrub. Both are great parks but have limited parking.

Nice little pathway to enjoy wildlife and fresh air. Although it is a small place, you can really have a good time walking around and enjoying the shady small forest.

Find shade to beat the heat
The shady hardwood forests have a canopy of live oak, cabbage palm, and strangler fig. Wild coffee, American beautyberry, and several species of ferns are present in the understory. I was delighted to find out that this beautiful natural Little Is tropical forest was saved for us to enjoy. The path is easy to walk for the elderly and I dreamy refuge for lovers. The Spanish moss covers the trees In this fabulous city escape, and Don't be surprised if you see a raccoon family in the woods or turtles walking by.

Wonderful little WALKING trail, part paved and part dirt. Combined its about a mile, without exploring any other little parts. Lots of birds, a few tortoises and all other normal animal life.

A beautiful park surrounded by trees. I’ve been here a few times to do family portraits. It’s so scenic and perfect for photography. The natural preserve also has signs through out the walk ways explaining the different plant and bird species you may find out there. It’s so tranquil you can’t hear the cars on Congress. Check it out!
