I can't say enough positive things about Adkins Tax Accounting Service. They truly are the firm to go to. They're great.

Steve is the man! He sits with you, spends time with you, explains everything, and never rushes. He is a wealth of knowledge and is absolutely the best man for any tax or accounting service. He has been doing this for many, many years and you can tell he truly loves what he does.

Steve the account is excellent, I just called and spoke to the new secretary and she was incredibly rude.

Beware! I would never recommend this office to anyone! This is one of the most unprofessional and unorganized businesses. Tax documents were completed wrong multiple times and now I’m stuck with almost $600 worth of penalties from the IRS because Steve told me via email he filed an extension for both a personal and trust account yet he never did! When I advised him of the penalties and demanded an explanation he said an extension wasn’t filed because he didn’t have a copy of the EIN. However, I gave him a copy in person on 1/5/22 AND via email on 1/6/22. He said I would still need to pay the penalties and he would send the IRS a letter trying to fight one of the two penalties. Dealing with Adkins Tax has been a complete nightmare. The penalties are directly related to his incompetence and he should pay the fees. Since he has taken NO responsibility for this actions I am reporting him to both the IRS and CPA Board. I paid for a simple service that has been screwed up time and time again and I should have filed the taxes myself.

Put wrong bank info after asking if it was the same and I provided him a check with new account info. I called Steve and I get im sorry now I have to wait months for my return. Didn't even offer a refund for messing up.
