Taki Japanese Steakhouse

This place is so friendly and welcoming! The hostess was so kind to take our picture. We’re celebrating 13 years of marriage. The server was friendly too. We were pleased and surprised to see that they had Happy Hour meal specials!

Update: I see after watching my meal being cooked the build up happens quickly. Imma leave my comment at the bottom everyone who works here is awesome i just hate how theyl drips are above my food.

Food great, everyones great, above the grills dripping down on the cook top is nasty! I have brought it up before. They cleaned it once before it seems its not on the todo list, its still nasty. We eat here alot it just makes me not want to come back.

Took my whole family to Taki for the first time in a while, everyone absolutely LOVED it. Best hibachi I have ever had. The chicken, steak, and shrimp were all cooked perfectly and had great taste. Service and environment was awesome. Best hibachi around hands down. 10/10!

one of my favorite places to eat for sure, definitely always a pleasure dining in for hibachi. the staff are very friendly and attentive, last time i came we had a hibachi chef named john and he was super nice and fun to talk with. i come back every month or so and its always an amazing meal, you get large proportions and lots of different choices.

The service was good, the food was delicious! There was a little mix up with whomever prepares the food to come out to the table to be cooked, they forgot about my steak and another person at our table scallops, but I still gave them 5 stars because they fixed the problem fast once it was caught, and our food still ended up coming out with everyone else’s food. Our chef was amazing….he was very talented and professional, with a sense of humor. Definitely give this place a visit.

It was a cool place nice vibe. At first there was a language barrier that our waitress was well equipped to overcome and it was appreciated. The food was excellent seafood was extra extremely fresh. There isn't anything I didn't like.

After a voice recital, we headed here to celebrate. We were a party of 9 and there was a15 minute wait. Within 5 minutes, they decided to put us in the private room. Wonderful experience. The price is typical for hibachi meals. I would highly recommend this location.

We came here for dinner to celebrate my 9 year old's birthday on Valentine's day. We were happy to only have a 25 min wait. Our server was very attentive and gave the birthday girl some extra attention. The chef was fun and the food was all very yummy. We had plenty of food and even some to take home.

We had come to visit my brother and sister-in-law and decided to go on a whim, as my husband had never been to a place like this. It was us, our adult daughter, his brother, nephew, and sister-in-law. At 530p, on a Saturday, there was about a 25 minute wait.
Sitting in this little strip in front of Kirklands, and next to a Mexican restaurant, it looks like a normal "strip mall" storefront, but you step inside l, and it changes! You have places to sit at the sushi bar, more personal dining, or sit as a group and watch the magic happen!!!
You are sat with 3 menus. Drinks, Sushi (any style you can think of), and the main courses.
As you decide on your main meal, they are getting your drinks and sushi orders together.
I decided on a sashimi Tuna, and it was perfection! Served on spagetti shaved carrots, you're given the pickled cabbage and greenery as well. Beautiful presentation! The others chose scallops, chicken, steak, and shrimp
With each meal, you're served an amazing clear, mushroom broth soup and salad! Both are amazing!

Now comes the main meal preparation.
Our chef (I wish I had gotten his name), was a young guy with a personality that was amazing. From cooking with the special "ice cream" (a seasoned butter), to topping with "soda" ( red bottle sauce to top everything as it cooks), and spritzing with "sprite" (lemon) to give the seafood that perfect flavor... LOVE IT. He made it so much fun.

Now how it all tasted! OMG the scallops.... PERFECTION!!! The steak cooked perfectly and not cheap, the shrimp.. yes the shrimp. Even the chicken was perfect!

There were several children at other cooking stations, and they were kept involved through the process. Seeing their eyes light up as the flames blazed up, or whole eggs flipped in the air... they are a good fit for all ages!

The whole process is about an hour and a half. This isn't a "fast food style" eating. This is that eating you sit, have amazing conversations, and enjoy!

Now they DO OFFER A CARRYOUT SERVICE!!! They have a window for pickup so you don't have to come inside. They got you covered!!!
The average meal was about $22, and to get all 3 meats was just about $35, but the portions... it's a lot! We all took home a Togo box with plenty left! And I promise, it wasn't because it tasted bad.

Cindy is always awesome. She is my favorite waitress, she is very sweet all the time and very attentive and helpful. The food is excellent and Jing is always there to help. I've never had a bad experience here. The Sushi chefs are very very good.

Taki’s is still the best hands down. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing!! They said it customer service month, not sure if they do that often or since the new place open down the street. We got 10 off and a t-shirt. Kaleb was our waiter he was awesome!!

Went here last night for hibachi with a friend. Jeff was our chef. He was THE BEST! Apparently, it was his first day, but you wouldn't be able to tell. He was funny and personable, engaged with everyone at the table, and our hibachi was delicious! The atmospheres was nice, we were seated quickly and the waitress was very attentive! A good time was had!

My family and I love this place and eat here often. Last night we ordered food through door dash and once we received the food one order was incorrect and another order was missing. I called Taki and spoke with Alexis regarding the issue . She was very polite and apologetic about the incorrect order. They remade our food and we were able to pick it up without incident. I wanted to write this review because mistakes will happen, but it’s how you respond and treat the customer after. This is an example of why we love this place.

Food is excellent, our cook was very engaging, skillful , you got enough to satisfy, one of our go-to spots . Can't get mad at this place . Be prepared to spend well over 100$ plus a bit pricey well worth it though

This place is off the charts! Fantastic food and our chef was wonderful. We had Ty and he made my birthday one to remember. The prices are great, especially the drinks during happy hour. I'll definitely be back.

If you're looking for Japanese food around paulding look no further than Takis. Prices of about 20-40 a person but the next best thing would be hibachi express and this blows that out of the water. Meals are inclusive with more than enough food and you'll always come hungry and leave happy. Make sure to tip your waiters and cook they are all trained well and provide consistent quality in a fun and comfortable atmosphere!

Love Taki. Even after trying the new Volcano down the street (once), we come back here. Sushi is excellent, service is great, and great value. Also love the more intimate atmosphere.
