The Fish Store / Custom Aquariums

I began my journey into saltwater fish in Jan 2023 and first visited the fish store Aug 2023. My only regret is not finding these guys sooner! They’re extremely knowledgeable and always willing to answer ANY questions you have. I stop in usually once a month (sometimes more) and they always take the time to help with my many questions and make recommendations, making sure I leave with clarity and confidence. And here's the best part: they've got the honesty game down pat! If a fish or coral isn't the right fit for my tank (timing, tank mates, etc) they'll tell you. It's clear they're in it for the love of the tank, not just the sale. Lifelong customer right here!

Amazing shop. Just found them within the last 3 months and it is easily my #1 go to. I make it a point to drive all the way from Vero Beach on the weekends due to quality assurance and knowledge base of Chris the owner. Hasn’t steered me wrong yet. And to the people leaving negative reviews, be personable. This is a LFS. Where being a hobbyist comes first. The reason things aren’t priced is because he is willing to make deals. Especially if you are considerate and patient. Kindness gets kindness . And vise versa .

As a beginner to saltwater I can’t say enough how helpful the fish store has been to me. They always make time to explain and guide me no matter how busy they may be. Tyler has been outstanding with helping me since week one of my tank with all kinds of knowledge and advice. I’m super thankful I found this store as this hobby can be intimidating and daunting at times. Chris the owner and sage both A+ also you guys rock!!!

This is the spot for marine aquariums. The staff all have expansive knowledge and the owner has been doing this for decades. Advice is free and always correct, and they have everything h you need to start, maintain or move a set up from 10 gallons to 10,000. I don’t go anywhere else. This is the 40 gallon I have through them. I even get water for my water changes for a great price here.

WOW!! First time back at the fish store in about a year. Alot has changed and for the better! The store looks alot cleaner and they have a bunch of nice corals and fish. Talked with Tyler who was working he was very knowledgeable and informative as he helped me pick out new corals for my tank & also educated me on some new things to feed. Great experience and they definitely won me as a customer I will definitely be back. Highly recommend

I go here weekly to get my water, very stand up people Chris owner of the shop and Sage are the two I’ve met ,they have helped my improve my tanks over all health in a bunch of different ways, They also have an awesome display of corals and fish set up I’ve purchased most of my stock from Chris and Sage always cool place to stop in at . I Appreciate all the knowledge that’s shared 👍🏼 and if your having issues they’ll test your water for free and help guide you on a fixing path

I frequent this shop a lot. The owner is awesome and very knowledgeable. His new help at the store Sage is great. Sage has a great personality and is eager to help and answer any questions. The store has a great variety of corals and fish. I have always been pleased with anything that I have purchased at the store. What I really like is they won’t sell you items you don’t need. I highly recommend this shop for all you aquarium needs.

I’ve been in the hobby since the 90s and have been working with Chris and his staff at all of his locations for many many years. I visited the Bayshore Store other day and spoke with Sage a very intelligent young man and was very helpful and helping me make my selections. Thank you Chris and sage for all you do.

Chris and Dom at The Fish Store extremely efficient and knowledgeable very happy to help. They go over and above and beyond out of the way to give you the right information. to make the right choices to have a successful reef tank. I hired both of them to come and do my build. I couldn’t of made a better decision. after getting taken advantage of by a previous hire. Dom and Chris have gone out of their way stepped up and took care of me the whole way through. I’ve purchased a tank from them and my build through them. I have a very complex system with complete Apex. Chris went ahead and took this job on from start to finish it’s been a long process but I couldn’t ask for a better team highly recommended for all your reefing needs!

This store is great! Chris the owner has so much knowledge in keeping fish and coral farming. He helps to save our reefs by doing this. Some of the most beautiful corals you will ever see and the biggest selection. He started me out in this hobby over 10 yrs ago. Taught me everything I needed to know to love this hobby. He's always been able to answer any and all my questions for me. Not to mention very patient and kind with me, especially when I have trouble choosing which fish would be best for my tank. He will always help you in choosing the best fish for your aquarium. He is the expert in my opinion if your looking for one.

The Fish Store has helped me since day 1 of my start up. Chris and Dom were very patient and helpful with all my beginner questions. They assisted me with stocking my tank along with making sure my tank was stable and ready before adding any coral or pets. Chris at The Fish Store is super knowledgeable and a great guy. We actually met at Okeechobee Music Festival and got to gabbing about fish and coral. Him and his staff are professional and courteous. The shop is a definite go to spot. You won’t be disappointed!

If you are in the market for a saltwater setup and want it done right the first time this is the place to go , Chris makes your dream tank come to life and stay that way. Had an incident with a pump failing and the manufacturer wasn’t able to ship me out a new one for almost two weeks! Chris saved the day by loaning me the parts I needed to keep my reef thriving.
