My 5 yr Yorkie Kody, has been with Dr. Schmiat and Dr Fox for the last 4 yr. And we are so happy with them. They are very professional and willing to accommodate our pet needs. We love the staff they are friendly and Great will all the animals. Always to make sure our fur baby is in great health.

Doctor will call after every appointment to check on Lucy. They are very knowledgeable and have very fair pricing. I won't take our little Lucy any place else. And she seems happy to go to the vets.

I live right in front of this vet and was a bit scared to take my dogs here because of the Yelp reviews. On Sunday, our Golden spent all day throwing up and suddenly at night there was blood in his stool. We rushed him to a different 24 hour vet and didn't like how he was treated. Monday morning he was worse so we decided to ignore the reviews and try this vet. We called and they were quick to schedule Apollo in since it was an emergency. They were all so kind and welcoming of Apollo and we truly loved how he was treated. We had to drop him off Tuesday as well and again, he was treated so amazing by the staff and everyone was truly incredible. Our Apollo is doing so amazing now thanks to everyone here and we truly could not be more thankful! We will definitely bring our dogs here from now on!

If you are looking for wonderful, kind people to take care of your pet, this is your place! When the dogs come in, instead of shaking and cowering, they run to the staff and greet them happily with wagging tails. Dr. Schmidt takes the time to discuss the animal's medical issues with you, and the reasons for treatment. Unlike some other Vet Centers around, everyone here goes the extra mile to be sure that your concerns are addressed and that you and your pet are treated well and are comfortable with the treatment. They also care for some rescue and wildlife animals. I only wish that I had found this place before I had some otherwise negative experiences around town with Vet Centers.

We have been coming here for about 4 years and never had a problem. Dr. Schmidt, Lori and all the support staff are always kind, supportive, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Every time we've needed and appointment right away they've always gotten us in fairly quickly. We had a health scare with one of our dogs last night so we called this morning and they got us in within a few hours. They take great care of all my fur babies and I would recommend them to everyone.

Update : 10-19-23 After reading all the negative reviews I thought I need to give an updated more detailed review. I have been coming here since Dr. Fox 1st opened this place. I been through all the Additional vets, techs and previous office Manager. Lori is an amazing person and one of they most caring office managers I have met. All the techs do an amazing job and Dr. Schmidt has brought an amazing new variety of services as acupuncture and laser treatment that not all vets offer. They took care of my Tinkerbell and Cookie for all there years of life and continue to care for my Sadie. My Cookie had serious anxiety issues which would cause her to pee or poop everywhere when going to the vet. Even tho I was so embarrassed never did I get a nasty look or bad comment from anyone in about 15 years. Please do go by the nasty comment because if you do you are missing out on a two great vets and there whole amazing teams.

I am so happy I found Animal Hospital of West Port St Lucie. The doctors and the staff are friendly and very caring. They are always willing to go a step above to help you and your animal. I’ve been with them for about 15 yrs and it was the best decision I made for me and my pets

Both of my pups have been coming here for 5-6 years now. The staff and doctors are incredible and they always take great care of the dogs! I couldn’t ask for better care when it comes the my animals!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Answered all of our questions. Provided excellent care for our family dog. Was a great first visit. Highly recommend.

Great office, really care for you pets would not go anywhere else for my doy, they care about the health of the pets and always call to follow up on the health care

Dr. Schmidt is AMAZING. The care that my dog receives is top notch. Some staff don’t wear masks at the front desk but don’t let that detour you. Before they show you to your exam room, just ask and they will put on a mask. I really like the service and the entire staff. I always feel welcomed and I know that they genuinely care for my doggie. They provide laser treatments and acupuncture. Yes! Some animals need acupuncture! 😉

My Fendi received the best care at this facility. All the staff that she came across knew her name and greeted her with love.

I want to give a special thanks to Dr. Schmidt and her excellent technician Brandi for taking good care of her. She feels so much better.

You can tell that the entire staff loves animals and loves what they do and they are very helpful and willing to work with you if you have a nervous dog like me.
