Seminole Wekiva Trail - Jones Trailhead

Plenty of shade and greenery. The occasional deer 🦌 or three. 🐢, 🦊 and yes even 🐻.

Very relaxing area for walking 🚶. Plenty of 🚲 riders.

Not to heavy on traffic.

Depending on how far you get there are various paintings along the fences.

Great trail for running, biking and walking both alone or with family or friends. Nicely maintained as well!

Such a beautiful trail. Perfect for biking or walking/running. Scenic with woodsy trail. There is parking for 10+ cars, benches along the trail to sit and reflect. The people you run into are extremely kind and friendly. There are hand painted murals along a portion of the trail that am artist painted along a fence.. Very beautiful. The parking is from sun up to sun down and I would recommend that you don't leave any valuables in your car as people tend to break in cars along bike trails often. We will be going back here again soon it was so nice. Enjoy your visit.

Beautiful place! Awesome for jog, bicycle, skates, skateboard, walk dogs etc... nice views and the fence paintings are beautiful!!

The most accessible and natural trail in the area. Bike fixing materials are available to public in the trailhead

Such a cool place. Nice and shady. I'd really like to complete the entire thing one day because this trail is huge. My favorite artwork was definitely the Simpsons and Beastie Boys. Beautiful relaxing trail with lots of trees!

My friend and I ride on bicycles, Seminole Trail almost daily and it is beautiful! A lot of shade,sun,and very cool paintings on the fence in select places.

Amazing trail, covered in trees, so it will keep you cool during our summer days. Ran into deers my first time on the trail, around 6 PM, so just an FYI. You'll run into some cool art too, which is what brought me to this trail. Seems mostly safe if you are working out alone, but there are parts when its completely secluded, so try not to get injured and make sure you have your phone lol.

Miles of well maintained trails, great way to to enjoy the day while doing a healthy activity. You can Skate, bike, run, jog or even walk the trail. Perfect for families, friends, both or even alone. Don't forget to hydrate (sun can get very hot in the summer).

Amazing place to run, walk, bike. There are parking areas along the trail, and many points of interest to break at, including softball fields and playgrounds. There's at least 2 bike shops right off the trail, one at Lake Mary and one at Altamonte Springs, as well as food and convenience stores at major interchanges. Plan accordingly for small children, it is a long trail and facilities are spread a few miles apart.

Beautiful tree canopy shaded and superbly maintained paved trail. Very cool painted fences between Lake Mary Blvd and SR434 Longwood (my usual trek, but now that the cooler autumn weather is upon us, I must venture further!). What a pleasure, thank you Seminole County! Ride on👍🏻🚲

Great place to stop take a break

Great running and biking trail. Runs from Lake Mary Blvd all the way to 436 in Altamonte springs. It is 7.5 miles long and is typically very shaded. There are numerous water fountains along the trail which means you can carry less on long workouts and a tunnel under 434 that eliminate stopping for heavy traffic.

Beautiful Fathers day morning to go for a tide

The is one of the best trails in thus area that I have found. The one end has a Panera and Peach Valley. The other end has several of outdoor paintings on the fences. There are pieces of exercise equipment alomg the trial, as well. A lot of the trail is shaded, which makes for a mor enjoyable walking experience.

Seminole Wekiva trail is a favorite of mine mine for cycling. The Jones trail head allows for easy access to both sides of the paved pedestrian trail. It is well maintained and easy to navigate. The artwork (painted fences) along the way makes it even more interesting.

Scenic paved walking trail. There is some good exercise equipment too. For being in a neighborhood, there is a surprising amount of wildlife with gopher tortoise, deer, fox and bear sightings.

Very good trail for walking, running, or biking. Beautiful forest areas lead into spots to stop for lunch. There are parts of the trail lined with local art. It's very interesting.
