Broadway Ristorante & Pizzeria

Love this place! The booths and tables are great for large families. I usually get the small calzone, which can easily feed two people. It is always cooked just the way I like it AND they have eggplant as a topping, which is rare. My kids love the pizza. I usually don't get dessert out at restaurants, but their chocolate cake and Zeppolis are DELICIOUS!

Our waiter Jordan was exceptional! We called ahead to make sure they were open & had a very friendly person on the phone. The food was so yum! The veggie stromboli was crispy on the outside & gooie on the inside. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The garlic bites were very doughy & delish. My friend asked for them without parmesan cheese, so typically it has that. We also had drinks. They have a full bar that you can even sit at! There are no vegan options other than soup or salad, but our waiter really tried to help mitigate best they could. We went after 10pm & it was still pretty busy, but comfortable. I felt like I was the only one there.

Not sure what happened here. This used to be our favorite late night pizza joint, but tonight's pizza was just terrible. It looked and tasted like frozen pizza. The crust was barely baked through, the sauce was tasteless and barely covered the pie. On top of that, I had to cut my own pizza. I wouldn't be so disappointed if I wasn't expecting the quality that used to be Broadway Pizza. Giving three stars in the hopes that this was just an off night and not an overall deterioration of quality.
Update: The management team reached out to me almost immediately and they have done everything they can to help make this right, something I really appreciate. I will be back soon in the hopes that this really was just a fluke.
Update 2: Sad that this took me so long but I finally had the opportunity to return to the restaurant this evening and I am happy to report that the food this time around was much better. Something still tastes slightly different from when they were across the parking lot, but its not enough of a difference to change my original opinion of the food here. I'm not sure what the issue was from my previous visit, but I can comfortably say the pizza here is back to being some of the best around. My only remaining concern is the lack of anyone in the restaurant wearing a mask. I understand that this is Florida, where personal preference tends to trump science, but this still may be a bit off-putting to some and will personally wait for safer times to dine in person here. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with my most recent visit and am returning my rating to 5 stars.

Great restaurant and service. Jordan our waitress knew the menu and food and had great suggestions. Our pasts sauce was great! We will definitely go be back again.

Just had lunch here today, awesome as usual. The prices on lunch specials are great! Two of Sicilian pizza, salad, and drink for $10.99! The food was delicious can't wait to go back again.

I have eaten here a couple of times recently both in the restaurant and via delivery. Food is great, I've had the garlic knots, pasta, salad, and the margherita pizza. I was impressed at how staffed the restaurant is which is so rare in the service industry right now. Staff was helpful and super nice. My husband has been eating here for nearly 20 years and says the food is still the same. Prices are reasonable for how much food you get. Parents, I did not have to scrub down the high chair which is an A+ in my book when you're not dealing with a sticky, crumby mess that feels like a hazmat situation. Clearly the staff takes great care in cleaning the place.

UPDATE: because this place has been amazing to me and my family with the food I did order again and told the one young kid I forgot his name sorry lol however I told him what happened and showed him the pictures with that being said he agreed that it wasn’t acceptable and made sure to offer me another one on the house whenever I am ready for it. ☺ With that being said I didn’t let one disappointment interfere with the fact that I love this place.

After spoiling me with the best pizza since moving to Florida from up north this place became my favorite late night pizza joint, but tonight's pizza was just terrible 😣😫

Anytime After receiving my food i always sit in the parking lot watching shows on my phone for a few because the food from day one has always been to good to wait to drive home (lakemary)

however i’m so glad that’s my routine as I would’ve been really upset had i decided to wait until I got home to eat as this place is not down the street for me.

Tonight not sure if it was new cooks or not enough supplies or maybe just over it tonight (tired) 🤷🏽‍♀🤔

Anyways besides the pizza tonight THE LEMON PEPPER WINGS ARE THE SH*T!!! ☺☺ Still my favorite and the Broadway bites…. 🥰and the ravioli thingys🥰 TO DIE FOR 🥰 always a good comfort food choice!

I really didn’t want to give this place less than five stars as it’s been nothing but a five star visit 🙃
But Tonights pizza was more of a four star
but everything else I ordered was perfect🖤
Wish it was maybe a 4.5 star option 🤷🏽‍♀

however tonight I was really in need of the best comfort food 😔 (buried one of the most important part of my heart last week😔💔) and was a bit disappointed that my comfort food with the pizza was not a good choice tonight….Sorry for complaining 😔

Contemplating whether I can fix this when I get home or if I should call and order a new one 😞

Probably some of the very best pizza I have had in a very long time! What a great pizza, pasta, and the service was outstanding as well. Would absolutely recommend to everyone.

Great atmosphere and staff. The customer service was great and the food was good too. I only tried the pizza but looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

Is the tastiest food that I have ever had. We regularly go here and always try new things, Honestly nothing has been SO good

My food had no flavor and tasted like water. They were nice and substituted the shrimp for chicken scampi . the house bread was awesome. Overall not a good first impression. I find it hard to try there again .

UPDATE: Manager reached out and was very professional. I ended up getting the chicken alfredo which was very tasty . No complaints here . Thank you ! The house bread is my favorite also .

***Update below my original review.***
Bits of plastic under the cheese on our pizza. It seemed like the plastic wrapping from a block of cheese got grated in with the cheese. I found 4 pieces of plastic that were as large as the tip of my little finger.

That's a major quality control issue that should have been resolved. I fed this to my young children and now I worry they ate plastic. We order from Broadway at least once a week and have been for over a decade. I'm very disappointed.

***UPDATE*** Management immediately responded and identified the issue within a day. Accidents happen and this is the only issue I have had an issue with an order from Broadway and I am very happy with how it was handled.

great food, excellent service, the place is very nice and clean, affordable prices waiter william very attentive.

Broadway is an excellent choice for a group. The food was delicious, our server was great and we sat outside on the patio and got to relax and talk for a long time.
