Cream and Shuga Coffee

Very nice coffee shop and restaurant. Interesting half of building is old jail.
Cells have been turned into sitting rooms. Vegan lunch option is a hummus and veg sandwich on sourdough. They have cow milk alternatives for an extra $1.

It's a beautiful place, sort of a restaurant/coffee shop, with great food and coffee, and a very interesting layout due to being a jail that's been repurposed and spiffied up into a really bright and stylish spot. They've clearly put a lot into making it cool, with each room decorated differently. I love that someone started with a building that must've been a whole lot of nothing, and realized this vision! Pretty much everything I've had here has been fantastic! I'm a big fan of the Greek salad, it's especially great with a lemonade on a hot day. It'll save your life in the summer. Check out the cool presentation in this futuristic bowl! And the little desserts are SO delicious. It's great to hang out here, or take your coffee and wander about exploring the place. 10/10 would recommend!

Out in the sticks practically. Super cute driving into it. The coffee shop is spacious, there’s multiple dining areas. Very well kept. The menu has a variety of selections. The vanilla lavender coffee I got was yum! The best part they have milk alternatives, breakfast, lunch, smoothies and merchandise. They state to have been running for 10 years and I see why. The patrons were all rather diverse. I came looking for authentic coffee and received just that. Love a cute coffee shop find! Especially one that has a reasonably priced menu, see for yourself!

This place is awesome. I’ve lived here for 3 years and just now discovered this place. I’m sad I didn’t find it sooner! I ordered 10 of there handmade oatmeal cream pies to share with my family and they all love it! Their sandwiches and smoothies are really good too. Very nice people and I will definitely be going back for more!

This place has the best staff, food, and for me, location! Parking is always available, online ordering is quick and easy through their website, and I’m told it’s even on DoorDash! Their dessert bars and sandwiches are amazing, and I go here way more than I should because of the food. Definitely more than just a coffee shop!

My sister in law brought me here for my birthday, we met for breakfast. I had the grit bowl with scrambled eggs and bacon!!! YUMMY! Also if you don’t know its inside of an old jail. We ate in one of the “cells”. If you haven’t visited when you’re in Jefferson, it’s a must!

Great place to grab breakfast, specialty coffee, or a sandwich. You can dine in or order ahead for pick up! We enjoy coming for breakfast to catch up with friends or having a business meeting. During the colder weather, they have a fireplace on and its my favorite place to sit! You can dine in the main space or grab a room for something more private. They do allow you to reserve a room for a group.

I've stopped by here for lunch 8 times now. I wanted to get a good feel for the place before I wrote my review. I have found the staff to be consistently friendly. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. The coffee, hot and cold, is good.
Since it's so hot, I've been ordering the iced mocha latte and the turkey and cheese wrap with no mayonnaise. The chicken panini, pictured here, is from my first visit. The other photo is a cheesecake bar. It was too delicious to take a picture of without trying it first... so good. I would recommend Cream and Shuga to anyone who's hungry around lunch time.
Be aware that they close at 3pm in the summertime though.

I have not tried they're breakfast yet. I'll update this review after I do that.

cute little atmosphere, very reasonably priced for delicious coffee!!!! can get very busy though, so be prepared for that if you go at a popular time.

The Food is always great here! I take all my clients here when I’m in the Jefferson area. They also have WiFi!

Stopped in this morning for a white mocha latte & tried one of their cheesecake bars, currently wishing I had bought two. Great service/coffee/sweets and you can’t beat the price!

I enjoy every visit. Staff is always friendly and helpful with helping me with recommendations. Food is amazing. My cousin told me about this place and I have been a repeat customer and have told other people every since. Cream and Shuga is essential to starting every morning the right way! You will not be disappointed

So glad I came here. The square in Jefferson was a rest stop on BRAG 2023. Lots of cyclists crowded around the shops on the square. I asked a local girl about a place for breakfast, she told me about Cream and Shuga. It was a few blocks away but I decided to go for it. Maybe the best decision of the day. A nice civilized breakfast for a change. (the routine is to skip breakfast and jump on the bike at 7am, and wait till the first rest stop for a peanut butter sandwich.) So restful. Thanks Cream and Shuga for the memory. And thanks Jefferson for letting 1000 cyclists enjoy your town.

First time coming to this place, and definitely not the last one. I had the BLT sandwich with hot chocolate and a cup of fruit. The portion is ideal for lunch for a good price and the food is good.

I love this place! Let me tell you: The people a sweet and loving, the food is fresh and the beverages are yummy, the interior decorations are nice and thoughtful. The little rooms are great to sit in privat and talk to friends about life. I love that I can even bring my dog and he can sit with me on the patio. See you soon guys.

Loved my breakfast and rest stop here while on Bicycle Ride Across Georgia. Food great. Order took more time than I wanted to spend, but it was breakfast time after all. Would go back if in area.

Holy smokes this place is awesome. Their Gyro’s and oatmeal cream pies are the best!
