If you think of the word "honest," you might think of Abe Lincoln. But if you put the word honest and mechanic together, you would think that's an oxymoron. But it's not. I have a mechanic that is as honest as the day is long. I found him on Facebook and thought I would bring my wife's car down, and he looked at it and told us what the problem was and how much it would be. We had him fix it, and the next day, we picked it up. On our way home, it stopped running. We called Cory, and he made a special trip to the Love's gas station after hours to look at the car. He had it towed back to his garage and fixed the issue. He did not charge us for the tow or the time and parts to fix the issue. I will never bring my car to anyone else because of how honest he is. Thank you, Cory, and all who work for him at Lucky Omen Garage for being an honest shop. I have sent a lot of my friends to him with their car issues. Not one has been disappointed.

Better Ingredients, better mechanics, Lucky Omen Garage? The owner of this place is a genuine, caring, and understanding human being. He will go out of his way to make sure that your car gets back on the road AND STAYS THERE! I not only trust this shop to do basic maintenance but tackle the more challenging issues that may come up while I'm driving. For example my check engine light, abs, that kind of stuff I feel comfortable taking my vehicles here and I know that Cory will get back to me with and update on what needs to be done as well as a price is given EVERYTIME. I cannot say enough good things about this shop and I will always take my vehicles here.

P.S. His turnaround time is also pretty good I think the longest I was without my vehicle was for about a day and that was mainly due to having to order the part which he did same day as well.

Cory has done fantastic work on an every single vehicle I own. From general maintenance to major repairs he has always done great work at an affordable price. I am never disappointed and on quite a few occasions he has saved me in a pinch (getting cars taken care of in a days notice.) If you’re looking for an honest and hard working dude, Cory it the mechanic for you!

Just got new tires and an oil change on short notice. Cory was great and was able to fit us in and have the tires delivered next day.
Cory was great to deal with on the phone, called back just as he said, the price was exactly as he quoted and the car was done exactly when he said it would be. What more could you want.

I’ve gone multiple times to Lucky Omen to have work done on my car by Cory. He’s super professional and very knowledgeable! He does really good work, and makes sure you’re comfortable and in the know about what work needs to be done. Prices are reasonable but again work is high quality. I always recommend him to all friends and family! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had some issues with my Chevy Cruze and had previously been bringing it to a dealer.

Issue (1) - my water pump was rattling (the dealer had replaced the part I brought to them last year).

Issue (2) - I had an anti-freeze leak that I had brought to Weber Chevrolet 3 times surrounding the issue. The last time I brought it to Weber they told me it was not leaking, even though I had a photo of it and showed them where the drip was coming from. I work on my car a lot (changing brakes, oil, spark plugs, etc.), and it was frustrating that they weren't listening to me when I told them something was wrong. I waited about a month or two and re-filled the anti-freeze tank about 5 times, and I had large puddles under my car consistently. Realizing I was wasting money and these issues weren't being fixed by the dealer, I decided to go elsewhere.

I found Lucky Omen Garage through my friends when I asked on Facebook if anyone had recommendations on a garage. Cory was helpful, took care of both issues my car was experiencing, and charged around 1/3 or 1/4 of what the dealer had charged to work on these issues. He seems honest in his work, was communicative throughout the process, and he told me he didn't want to charge a lot after I had spent and brought it to the dealer so much. He was meticulous in his work, ran extra tests before giving my car back, and showed me all the work he completed on the car before giving the car back to me.

For the past several months, I've been checking for anti-freeze leaks under my car, and it's been so fun to drive away and see NO LEAKS under my car!

I'll definitely go back to Lucky Omen Garage and will refer my friends to this place.

I can't say enough good things about Cory and his crew at Lucky Omen. A female friend was having issues with her RAV-4. She took it to her local shop and they diagnosed the problem as a catalytic converter. That shop quoted her $1700. She called another shop close to her and they quoted $1350. She got a bad vibe from both shops that they were hitting her high because she's a woman. I suggested she try Lucky Omen. I knew they would treat her right and not try to take advantage because she doesn't know much about cars. Lucky Omen quoted her $700. They got her in the next day and had her ready to go the day after that. Cory and his guys are knowledgeable, great guys and most importantly honest and not looking to take advantage of a situation just because they can. I recommend them to anyone needing something done to their vehicle. Thanks again for taking care of my friend guys! You have no idea how much better you made her feel about repair shops!

You know, I never thought an "honest mechanic" was a real thing until I came here. Cory is an amazing person who will help you no matter what the situation is, even if you think it's a dumb one. He will let you sit there and watch as he looks around your vehicle figuring out the problem with you. He knows exactly what he's doing, and even though I've only been here a few number of times this will ALWAYS be the shop I go to before I take my vehicle any where else because I can actually trust them. If you want an amazing job done on your vehicle and a person who knows what they're doing, well THIS is the place to be.

Cory was very professional, helpful, honest and kind. We had to get the wheel bearing replaced and he got us out of there in a timely manner, very very much appreciate it!!! I’d say it’s the best car repair around and we’ll definitely go back!

I will always go to Cory for my car needs. He will always give you a fair price,and never ever charge you for something not needed. I recommend him to everyone,especially women because alot of mechanics will take all they can get from women. If he can't get done what you need,he will refer you to someone who can. Solid service, reasonable pricing, and recently renovated bathroom, front desk and waiting area. New services added with tire changer as well. Very easy to do business with. The team looks to be investing back into the business and enhance the facilities.

Do you think of the term "honest mechanic" as an oxymoron or possibly an urban legend that you've heard distant rumors about but have still never managed to find proof for yourself that they truly exist? As a female, this was my perspective before taking my car to Cory at Lucky Omen Garage. After Cory ran the diagnostics he was upfront with me and told me that the necessary repair was considered too high-risk and that due to liability concerns he would prefer not to perform the repair at his garage. He told me not to worry though because he was going to assume the responsibility of finding a resolution for me, one way or another. Not only did Cory keep his word by finding a reputable garage to transfer my car to (the repair was successful) but he then, once again, went the extra mile for me. He offered to drive my car over there himself so that every possible precaution would be taken to prevent it from overheating...saving me alot of stress and worry. After he did all of this, I asked him what I owed him and he replied "nothing, because I didn't perform a repair, you owe me nothing...I didn't do anything". Little do you know how wrong you are Cory, you did SO much...you restored my belief that there genuinely ARE honest mechanics out there. After this experience I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else. Thanks again for being so incredibly kind-hearted and a true professional, you're the best Cory!!

My mom needed her locking lugs removed from her car and one of them had the key broken off in it, she also wanted her car checked out because it was shaking when she got above 50mph. We were referred to the Lucky Omen Garage by a friend and when we got there we found out she had a lot more issues than we originally thought. Corey ended up replacing the rotors, the front 2 tires, balancing the tires, and replacing the rear bearing. Corey took the time to show us exactly what we needed and why and was very patient with all our questions. He gave us a great price on it all. We will definitely be back next time we need something done.

Cory is the most selfless and generous person I know. When my 2005 Honda Civic broke down near his shop he drove by me on his way home for the night which was around midnight due to him working tirelessly on another customers car. He picked me up in his 2019 Lamborghini aventador and allowed me to drive it for the weekend while he fixed my civic up, he then rode off on his 200 lbs horse of a dog into the night to get some rest for work the next day. I love this business and the people at this shop 10/10 ❤

My 04 Stratus RT needed a new wheel bearing and cv axel. However the parts decided not to come apart because of rust and years of Missouri driving. My knuckle ended up needing to be replaced and Cory went out of his way to get in contact with a junk yard to find a used knuckle for $80. He went to the junkyard and pulled the part himself and stayed late to finish the job within the day. If I would have had to buy the part new it would have been over $300 and most likely a 2+ week wait.

Overall Cory is an awesome person he gives great prices and does great work! I would recommend him for anything you need!

Texted Cory over 4th of July weekend to get my car in to get some new tires put on and got me in as soon as possible and got it done fast and kept me in contact on when he was starting and finished overall great work

The mechanic who always helped me, Cory, is a very honest man, will not try to replace things unnecessarily. He cares for his costumers and treat them like he's working for his own family. I totally recommend their service.
