We have visited this museum multiple times during our time at Fort Liberty and it’s a favorite place for us to bring family when they come to visit. Very clean place, lots to read and look at inside. A theater to watch a documentary on the subject and a nicely stocked gift shop. There’s also plenty to look at outside the museum.

As I have been going senses I 1st stood guard duty atop the stairs in early 1997, much has been added. I truly enjoy that the history of so many that have survived in the 82nd Airborne, has been preserved for future generations. If you are going to Ft Bragg, make sure you find the time to stop by. Forgive me, Ft Liberty now.

Spend all that time on post doing the mission and never get the chance to walk up and down the airborne soldier museum and history trails? Go here, watch the video, walk the arrows, and go up into the "Airpark". It was a Saturday and (the Falcon Bigade was deployed) cross street barracks where ghost towns of brick and mortar, but the Airborne spirit was evident in the biting flies, the heat, the solemn air, the red soil and sand of the DZs, and the peace of the weather.

Small but informative Museum about the contributions of the 82nd Division. Nice memorabilia and items from all major conflicts. Must visit if you have access to Fort Bragg.

Great displays in this cozy museum. It also always smells really good. I've never seen too much of a crowd so you can really take your time.

My dad was so excited to see the War Museums, being a 2x purple heart himself, 172nd Airborne. So we went to fort bragg war museum (82nd) first and didn't make it to Downtown where my dad would be able purchase stuff with 172nd on it. 😔 but his visit to see his babygirl was spectacular and all that mattered to me, seeing my daddy! Next time he come we definitely go DT.

It's been years since I've seen it but it's a nice little museum. It was cool going through there and it's nice to buy stuff from the store online. Glad to see it's getting a remodel. All American- All the way!

This museum is in Fort Bragg Army Base. It's free but to enter the base you must have a military Identification or a verified driver license. I will recommend to call first to check for other requirements before you try to enter the base.

About the museum there is plenty to learn ,see and reflect. There are plenty of air craft on display outside and monuments. Parking is available free of charge. Handicap parking is just in front with easy access to the entrance ( no ramps) . There some stairs to climb to see the air craft area outside. There is also a gift shop. The museum is open Tuesday -Friday 10:00 am to 4:30 PM
Closed Monday and Sunday. Open on the following Federal Holidays MLK, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend and Veterans Day. Closed all other Holidays.

I served at the 82nd Airborne for eight years. I recently visited and it did my heart good to see the names of my fallen comrades on the memorial. It was also extremely intriguing to look though all the war memorabilia. AATW!

This place offers so much information from World War I until currently. Jeeps, uniforms, souvenir shop and memorials. A lot of Inside and outside displays to enjoy.
