Wow is all I can say! We are on our way to South Carolina and stopped in for 2 nights rest. In hindsight we should have stayed 5! A beautiful wilderness setting. The pond...amazing. I caught and released a 10 pound monster catfish. There are also some big Largemouth Bass swimming around. Jackson is a great town to visit as well. Good food. Good sights. Next time we come this way we will stay a week. No complaints. And.....Melanie the owner really wants you to have a good stay. She goes the extra mile. 5 stars for us!

We have stayed here several times. We do a quick overnight. The park is small and clean. Pull through concrete pads are so easy. Full hook ups. The park attendant is super nice and always escorts you yo your spot. Pretty little pond. Right off the highway so super convenient.

Great campground. Very clean. Trash cans by each site and picked up daily. Melanie, the owner and host is wonderful and very attentive to all needs of her guests. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

Our stay was for one night. Very relaxing and comfortable park. Wendy’s sister was very accomodating and friendly. We had a space long enough we did not have to unhook the trailer. Showers were clean with lots and lots of hot water.

What a cute RV park! We were greeted by the park manager Melanie upon arrival and taken to our spot. What a joy she is! Outgoing and friendly, made sure we had her personal cell number as she lives on property in case there were any problems. The next morning we woke up to a flat tire on our truck and the place we went to on her recommendation didn't even charge us to fix it!

The park is beautiful nestled on a small lake surrounded by trees. The sites are clean and level, the grass is nice and mowed down, and the laundry and restroom facilities are extremely clean.

We will be back! Thanks so much Melanie!

What a nice experience we had at Wendy Oaks! With all the trees and the lake - it's really beautiful. Sitting fireside - it felt like real camping. Not what you'd expect from a RV park next to a highway. It's big rig accessible, the restrooms were clean and they provide paddleboats/kayaks at no charge to enjoy the lake. I highly recommend and we'll definitely return for a longer stay.

What an amazing experience!!! Melanie greeted us with such kindness and was very helpful. The lake is so nice and filled with fish. A very peaceful camp ground with very clean bathrooms/showers and laundry room. We will for sure be coming back in the future!! High recommend this place!

Lovely host, rustic rv park, well maintained. Plenty of space for my 41' 5th wheel and truck to stay connected. Will keep Wendy Oaks RV park on my favorites list

We arrived a bit early and Melanie happily greeted us, led us to our site and made sure that we were all set. The site was a large, pull through, on the lake with a lovely view. We will definitely come back again on our way through. Wendy Oaks is close to Jackson and is clean and convenient. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I loved the place. We were met by Melanie to took us to our pull-through site. There was a vacant lake-side spot and she offered it up to us at no extra charge, and we gladly accepted. The temperature in the park, next to the lake, was at least 10 degrees cooler than outside, and although it's conveniently located off a major, four-lane, highway, the trees between the camp and the highway were a very effective sound barrier (we never heard any traffic). It's located close to lots of restaurants and it's easy to enter and exit. The bathrooms were very clean. We'll certainly stay there again.

What a wonderful campground! Melanie (The owner) is absolutely the BEST!! Although we arrived late, she stopped by our site to welcome us and to make sure we were ok. I could not have asked for a better site! I have a 45 foot diesel pusher and our site was level and had more than enough room for my coach and a car. The resort is peaceful and well kept, with a beautiful lake. Melanie makes sure that you feel right at home. She is the hardest working RV Resort owner I've ever met! She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the campground looks good and that you enjoy your stay! We will definitely be back!

We very much enjoyed our lakefront views at this tranquil oasis of a park. Melanie made us feel welcome and took time to help us settle in. Ducks, egrets and squirrels abounded!

We wanted to have a little getaway from our busy life’s and enjoy some peace. We found this little campground which we fell in love with. Melanie the owner made sure we was well taken care of. Even from our late checkin to our overall stay. If we needed anything she will go out her way to help. The spots are pretty level and all have full hookups. Our spot was right by the lake. Which was very pleasant to wake up to in the morning. Each spot has their own trash can, which the other will collect every morning herself so you don’t have to go far to dispose of your trash. They have a nice picnic table and fire pit also. We hated to love cause it meant our trip would be over, but if we ever in the area again. We would definitely stay here. The lake you can go fishing or take a boat to. They do have a boat lunch and paddle boat and such if you just want to have a good time at the lake. Overall we had a great time. Thanks for having us and until next time hopefully!

So glad we found this hidden gem of a campground. We had an event to attend in Jackson and this was conveniently 20 minutes away. Located right off the highway, but secluded enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Really enjoyed our lake view at our site. Melanie ( the owner ) is one of a kind and so gracious and welcoming upon check in. Grounds are kept up immaculately. Bath house / laundry are clean and super convenient. Will come back !

We stopped at Wendy Oaks on our way to Florida and on our way back home. We could not have stayed at a better place. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel so welcome and is so nice. The location is right off the road and is easy to get into. The property is beautiful it has very clean showers and laundry area. The lake is beautiful and there is even paddle boats and kayaks for the guest to use! We will definitely stay here again!

Staff was great, beautiful lakeside campsites. Facilities were great too! The best part about this place is they have canoe and kayak and paddle boats for guest to use on the lake for Free! And the fishing was great no license required. My only complaints is the sites are very close together and the crazy U-turn u have to take to get on the road to the entrance. It is also very close to a busy road so u can hear the traffic going by really well. Peaceful and clear park I loved it and would def return.

This was an amazing stop over for the night! So much so that we wished we were staying longer! The scenery was beautiful, our spot (#4) was as perfect as you can hope for, the small park was very quiet and nice, and the laundry services were excellent. I can’t say enough about Melanie and her kind and considerate customer service. We loved our short stay!

Welcoming, accommodating, and magical experience if you are seeking an rv stay to enjoy the surroundings. The laundry room and restrooms with hot showers are clean and always tidy. Garbage cans everywhere to clean up after yourselves and your pets. People do ignore the signs of pets must be on leash and to clean up after them, but a couple rude fur babies parents can't even ruin the experience.

Wildlife live here happily so it is an honor to exit your rv in the morning to a duck sitting at your picnic table waiting for you to come and enjoy the scenery of the lake and partake in the fresh air with a lovely walk around to the other side to enjoy the view. The squirrels are entertaining and they'll give you a good show when the resident cat comes out of hiding to stalk them. My recommendation is if you feel the need to feed them research the foods they can eat and don't just go for the bread crumbs there is nothing good for them in ordinary people food.

One particular morning of dragging myself out of bed to walk the dog around the lake was greeted with a pile of some other dogs fresh poop, avoiding the poop pile I ran into a huge spiderweb when I stepped off the trail to stay out of the pile. I then came out of the tree portion of the trail feeling pretty creeped out by the thought, did I collect an 8 legged passenger while wiping every part of me off still as I was walking. There stood a lady fishing she turned and said, "Good Morning, how are you doing?" I replied, "I don't know I almost stepped in dog poop and ran into a spiderweb", all the while giggling. As I passed by I said, "At least you can laugh about it." Still giggling and laughing.

It is a rare place to just stop for the night or stay for a few days. The owner is amazing and kind, she appreciates those that love and respect her wonderful getaway. I arrived just before Halloween and all the decorations were out including the older couple that never left, their skeletons where in chairs enjoying the scenery still.

I don't like to admit it is a 5 star getaway for fear of coming back with nothing available for me.

Thank you so much Melanie for caring for Wendy Oaks you make the park awesome for anyone that "Enters if they dare."

AMAZING PLACE TO STOP AND LET THE WORLD GO BY FOR A SPELL.

I would like to mention the special touches. The free WiFi, code for restrooms and laundry and my favorite at check in a comprehensive list of restaurants, with the distance from the park for you to enjoy the food and see a little of the area at the same time.

UPDATE: Our 2nd stay here 08/27/2023. It was just as beautiful and peaceful as the 1st time. Melody is so sweet and accommodating! A hidden Gem! The owner Melody is amazing, she’s such a happy and sweet person. The park has beautiful country views with a lake to walk around. Trees to block the highway view and noise. We both found the park peaceful and relaxing with friendly monthly customers. Laundry and bathrooms available. Even found wild blackberries. If heading south you’ll need to do a U-Turn. It’s a large intersection that we did with ease being over 40’ long.

Amazing little Campground. We found this hidden gem on our way home from FL. It is super convenient, right of Highway 49.
Great customer service! Melanie made us feel very welcomed! This place is very well maintained! You can tell that she puts a lot of effort and care into it. Easy to get in and out even with our 40 foot Class A.
We definitely will be back!!!!
