This was my first time here and I was with my company. The atmosphere here was really good and all of the staff was friendly.

I got the prime rib with loaded baked potato and it was absolutely delicious!! I could easily say this has been my best one I have ever had and I travel all over the states. We also had some crawfish balls as an appetizer. They were cooked to perfection and had so much flavor in them. Our team for many different things and not a single person had an issue with their meals.

I would highly recommend you making a visit here. You will not regret it at all.

Ma Mama’s is a gem of a family restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is out of this world. Our appetizers included the crawfish balls with homemade pepper jelly, stuffed mushrooms, and the roasted cauliflower. Let’s not forget the mounds of delicious bread and dipping sauce. Our table of 7 tried a variety of entrees. My fish was perfect as was the pork shank. Desserts are a must here - Ms. Kim is a phenomenal baker. Best key lime pie ever. Come sit at the cozy bar or make reservations for a table and enjoy the best evening.

First off, be sure to make a reservation if you're planning to dine in for dinner on a weekend! Luckily the bar was not reserved and we were readily seated. The place was busy and the staff was flooded, but the bartender was amazing in every way. A place like this is where you go to for everything that is fine Louisiana dining. If you want Italian or whatnot, go to an Italian restaurant you negative reviewers! I myself has the Seafood Au Gratun and work partner had the Shrimp & Grits - Both were absolutely spectacular!

Amazing place! Everything about it is 5 stars! I love it all the way! If you're in False River, you must stop by, if not, head that way!

Less than an hour from Baton Rouge, the restaurant was busy on a Friday night but we were able to make reservations for 7 people a few days ahead with no problem. We had a couple of orders of Mama's bread for the table which came with seasoned olive oil for dipping. I had the jalapeno grits with grillades as my meal and it was fantastic! The grits were just the right amount of spicy and the grillades were incredibly tender with an amazing gravy. The restaurant was a bit crowded, we were bumping chairs with people at adjacent tables, but the service was great and the old building has lots of character.

Our server Bria's entergy was infectious, with her knowledge of the menu to her recommendations. The food was beyond my expectations, and I'll definitely be back.

First visit here, invited by friends. Everything was delicious. I had the house margarita for my beverage. It was amazing. For entrée I had the Grilled Red fish with a jalapeño crawfish rice.

everytime I come here the food is phenomenal. You can taste the fresh ingredients in every dish you order. I brought an evacuee from Florida to have lunch today and she's never been to Louisiana she really enjoyed herself. She's excited to go home and talk about all the fabulous Foods out our way. It's always a pleasure to eat here and the service is fantastic.

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. F Illinois proportions, well seasoned and dedicated deserts. Dinning room offers the ability to have conversations and yet see abd and be seen on the river front (false river). Staff was friendly, professional and courteous. All of the ordered courses arrived at appropriate times and were extremely delicious. The baked goat cheese was delicate yet full of flavor. This would make a Michellin Star if they still ment something in the world today. This is a restaurant to seek out and enjoy.

I enjoyed the catfish on a bed of crawfish etouffe. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. If I'm ever in the area again I'll make sure to stop in for a bite.

I had a surprise birthday party at My Mommas and my family and friends had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredible, our waitress Ashley, was so professional, warm and friendly. The food was exceptional, delicious seafood, gumbo, homemade bread with olive oil and herbs along with tasty wine. We finished the meal with one of Donna's amazing cakes, the almond white cake. We have lots of pictures and I will remember this day because of the food and service my family, friends and I received this afternoon. Thank you Donna and staff.

Wonderful place right downtown. Decor was great and the food was beyond excellent. Started out with the rolls and butter, followed by Mama's Bread with olive oil and it was absolutely delicious. We then had fried shrimp with handcut fries and the Shrimo Scampi over Angel Hair. Both were very well seasoned, not to salty like so many chain restaurants, then we ordered the largest slice of homemade chocolate cake with caramel and walnuts on top. Easy to tell everything is homemade with care and pride. In the end We left hurting from eating too much, and had to carry the slice of cake home. Very much worth what you will spend.

First time went for lunch and we both had the Italian Salad with grilled shrimp which was fantastic. It's an old family restaurant with a great feel! They bake their own bread as well as cakes. I will definitely be back when tracking in the area again.
