Sonesta ES Suites St. Louis - Westport

The Sonesta was our home-in-between-homes for 24 days. Our family of four plus pup stayed in a two bedroom, two bath unit on the second floor. It was quiet, private, well maintained, and well-equipped. The pool is great, and the parking is ample.

What really makes this place stand out is the staff. My husband and I worked remotely from the hotel's lobby for most of our stay. The staff, particularly the day manager Jonathon, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The folks that work here take a lot of pride in what they do, and it definitely makes a difference.

The rooms here are apartment-like and very comfortable. They have 1 and 2 bedroom. The 2 bedroom has 2 bathrooms. Dishes and dishwasher are provided as well as sheets and towels.

Stayed here for 3 months while on contract. Everyone here is so unbelievably friendly and helpful. The housekeepers are great at their jobs, the front desk was always able to supply us with anything we needed, and the breakfast/dinners were always hot and fresh. My only complaint would be that the internet could be better and the fitness room could be a little bigger, but that's so overshadowed by everything positive I can't knock them for it. Highly recommend staying here for any length of time.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The suite was spacious, the kitchen was very large and better stocked than we were expecting (glassware, dishes, etc). The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty standard and filling. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

I was extremely impressed by the quality of the suites. They are roomy and much higher end than I was expecting for the price. The breakfast was fantastic. The amenities are wonderful. I was most impressed by the staff. I happened to have a noisy neighbor who will me at 3 am. Not bring one to complain, I didn't call the management at the time. I did mention it in the morning to the desk staff. They promptly relocated my room, to my pleasure, was absolutely quiet the following night. No questions were asked and they were exceptionally understanding. Quality customer appreciation. If I have the chance to stay at one of these Sonesta ES Suites again I most certainly will.

We spent 6 months there and couldn't be happier. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is great they do a night snack time a few days a week. The rooms are all suites with kitchens and the bed rooms are separate with door. So you can watch TV in the living room while the people in the bedroom aren't disturbed. Just a wonderful stay we had with them.

Professionalism is very hard to come by these days! The front desk staff, Amanda was excellent and very patient. The room was very clean and smelled like sanitation which was appreciated. I’ve been here a couple off times and they have not let me down.

I had a great experience here. The staff is warm, professional, and accommodating. Dylan and Alcurtis were awesome and everyone else was great too. The shuttle service was so helpful during the trip. The breakfast was good. There was a different hot option daily. The evening socials on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday were nice. They had salad and a hot item for free. Room was clean and had everything I needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Sonesta! It was my "hone away from home." This hotel worked out perfect for my last minute needs. I was in the process of moving and had to be out of my current home before I could move into my new home. The employees (especially, Heather at the front desk) and manager made my stay stress free and relaxing during a stressful time!
My room was very clean, bright, cheery decor and spacious. An added bonus was they provide breakfast every morning and light meal/appetizers 3 evenings during the week! 😊 Who doesn't love any excuse not to cook?! This girl! 😉
I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would use this hotel for any of my local needs again!

This has got to be the best hotel chain ever. The rooms are amazing! The walls are painted in subtle pastels, which makes the rooms bright and cheery. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the pillows might be the best I have ever slept on (and I don't even like feather pillows). The suites are spacious and the kitchen is well stocked. They have beer and wine available in the lobby and usually have a dinner time snack available. If I had to pick a weak point, it would be breakfast. It is only OK. I feel like if they had some sort of signature breakfast item like big, gooey cinnanon rolls, this place would be perfect. One other potentially weak point is that the air conditioning is very loud and blows right on the person on the left side of the bed. This is a just a minor detail. I never want to leave when it is time to check out and honestly feel like I could live there quite comfortably for some time. My husband and I have joked that we only want to vacation in cities that have Sonesta ES Suites! I hope they continue to expand because they really are one of the best.

This is a beautiful property. Perfect for 2 couples that want to vacation together but still have privacy. Great breakfast. And the price isn't too shabby when you're splitting the cost! I left feeling like I had gotten a really good deal. I hope I have plenty more occasions to stay here!

We had stayed there two years ago and went back for a family reunion. Stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the Sonesta. It was clean, nicely updated, the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with eggs, bacon, biscuits, hashbrowns, cereals, lots of fruits, coffee, juices, cheese and salsa for the eggs, breads of all kinds. Clean, bright and wonderful place. We had 14 people staying there and we will definitely go back.

Loved our stay and customer service, especially from Doug who came to our room to help us with our door (he was so friendly!). Beds are very comfy, everything's clean and the outdoor areas are really nice and well kept. Kitchen didn't have dish soap (only the soap to put in the dishwasher), which is a standard for suites with kitchens, and we would have liked to see recyclable/paper plates in the breakfast area instead of styrofoam (we travel for a living and see many hotels now being eco-friendly and offering more vegan options for breakfast). Gym could use a few weights. Overall we had a great time there and will stay again whenever we are back in the area!

Very nice and quiet. Office staff very friendly. Carpets could use a good cleaning but I am very satisfied compared to other places I've stayed

This business got the fifth star for giving us a great rate through online booking. Almost everything appeared to be new, and the whole facility was very tidy (except guests leaving their rubbish at the doors). Top notch service from all of the staff. The suites were essentially two bedroom apartments with a sleeper-sofa (great for families). Recommended if the rates are still competitive.

I had a friend who told me about this place. I am so glad I trusted her. I felt as if i was at home away from home. The beds and pillows were super soft and comfortable. The towels were white and fluffy. There was not a speck of dust anywhere. I left housekeeping a generous tip. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

The room was amazing. I stumbled onto this place. I had 2 full bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen for myself on an overnight trip. It was beyond clean, the staff was super kind and I got home and immediately identified the sonesta in my hometown. It’s a little off the beaten path and not a well known chain or at least of never heard of it. But I would highly recommend it. I believe I could have easily fit my and my sisters families for a short stay!!

Awesome space and very nice and clean suite! We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, we had one king bed in one room, 2 double beds in the other and double pull out bed in the living room, we had 2 full bathrooms as well! Will definitely be staying again! I posted photos as well!

Clean accommodations, great service. Our room was quiet and spacious, with the right equipment in the kitchenette. Outdoor activities were well maintained, and lobby dining room meals were fun and filling.

Great hotel for the family. 2 room suites are awesome and give ample room for everyone to have their own space. Latonya was a great help at the front desk. Check in was a breeze and since we are a free Sonesta never we got free stuff for the coffee and candy when we checked in.
