Amina from the Washington National Cemetery is the best. In 2019, when my Mom passed away, she was very patient with all the questions I had and provided great suggestions on everything needed for the grave site. I recently worked with her on transferring ownership of a plot I own to my Aunt. Since my Aunt could not physically come to the Cemetery, she took the time to explain everything over the phone and patiently walked her thru the e-signature process. Amina is very professional, attentive, and kind. Please ask for her for your internment needs.

I am writing this review as an explorer, not a tenant of the cemetery. Washington National Cemetery is a beautiful cemetery just outside of Washington, D.C. situated on a hill overlooking the city. It's next to two other cemeteries- Cedar Hill Cemetery and Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. There are paths that allow cars and I recommend driving to the top of the cemetery for the view!

We paid for a marker for my mother around Feb 2022, and we still have not received it. The last few times I visited my mothers grave, we could not even find the little round number, due to it was covered by the grass. We need our marker, besides it’s been 8 months. We will accept our money back, so we can purchase from another vendor. We call and get the run a round and promises, but nothing is done! Terrible customer service!!!

We have received the marker after we posted the review. Someone from the company contacted me and made sure we received the marker!!! Thank you!!!

My grandmother is buried at Washington National Cemetery which wouldn't have been my first choice but ok. After her passing I went to purchase an in grown memorial for her and it's been a year and we have not received anything. I have been working with Ms. Day throughout this time and she started out very helpful but when we finalize the contract with Washington National everything went down hill. I have called and sent emails with concerns as to when we would receive my grandmother's memorial and I get nothing or i'll call you next week and it would be a month later and still no response. This is a joke. People who invest there time and money should NOT be treated this way.

I want to add to my review that the reply that comes to every review must be generic because they do NOT reply back. I have sent several emails to the so call owner and I get nothing. It's been no change in getting my grandmother's memorial made and installed. My mother reached out to Ms Peggie Day today and she couldn't give her any update. After my mother spoke about getting a lawyer Ms Day stated she would sent out to get memorial expedited....(why would you wait 6 months later to expedite?).

What Washington National Cemetery means to me...GARBAGE.

We picked out a headstone for our mom last May 2021 (she was in hospice) and paid for it in full in July 2021 when she passed away. It will be one year next week that she has passed and still no headstone. My sister and I have called and visited the administrator at the cemetery who placed our order and still nothing. We have flowers and little trinkets to mark her grave, but not the headstone that we lovely ordered to commemorate our dear mom. She is only buried there because she purchased a plot back in the 80’s. I refuse to believe it takes this long ( more than a year). Still waiting…..
