Boone's BBQ Barn

Stopped in Boone's for lunch yesterday. It was delicious! It's such a unique place. From the barn decor, to the rustic atmosphere, the little train going round above you, all of it was so cool!
I ordered the lunch special, ½ a smoked chicken with 2 sides and a drink. I got creamy coleslaw and smoked beans. My husband got brisket-burnt ends style platter, with beans and hand-cut fries. The chicken was smoked perfectly and still juicy! The skin wasn't rubbery, and the meat fell off the bone! The coleslaw was fresh and crispy, and the beans were smoky and cooked just right. The burnt ends were plentiful! My husband could hardly eat it all!! Meaty and juicy. The hand-cut fries were seasoned so well! Im getting those next time! Perfect! We liked all 4 of the sauces offered at the table. And the service was great! Oh, and get the chocolate pie! Yummy ending to an amazingly good meal!!

We always have wanted to stop in at this restaurant. We never seemed to have time until this visit. Their meals are built for two (2!) Several flavors of BBQ to choose from. 1/2 rack if ribs were good, Bison Burger with loaded sliced potatoes. They offer a 10% military discount.

Bones BBQ Barn is meat you can eat without sauce! I don’t know about you but when your meat has as high flavor without sauce it’s a fantastic BBQ restaurant with quality. If your a saucy person they have you covered with 4 homemade boones sauces made weekly.
We had pulled chicken, ribs (OMG the RIBS fall off the bone and flavor), beef, pulled pork. There was a sampling going on throughout our family table and it was loved by all.

So many side to choose from! Sweet potato casserole and Hash brown casserole are a must try.

At night they have nightly bands and events! Look to Facebook for all scheduled fun activities and the Rustic charm restaurant with the best BBQ in the area.

I grew up in Kansas City, so I have had my share of BBQ....this is the best meal I think I have ever had! Best BBQ without a doubt. Do not miss the chance to eat here if you are just passing through....you will be glad you did! Thank you Scott for helping us "first timers" - excellent attention to customer service on a level that the genuine appreciation for what you do cannot be faked!

Can't speak enough about how good the food was. I got the bullrider and I've never had a better burger! It was such a great place to eat and stop after being on the road. The staff was warm and friendly. It has such a fun atmosphere!

Great authentic BBQ restaurant. Their burnt ends brisket is great, along with their pulled pork. Seems to be very popular among the locals, so you can’t go wrong. Quick and efficient service too. If you are in the area, you should not miss a visit here. Go hungry, you’ll enjoy it more.

Great atmosphere for a restaurant with a BBQ rustic feel that adds to the experience. With a bar upstars and an outdoor bar experience in the back, its a place I will visit again and again. The pics are of the restaurant menu as of the date of this review.

Fantastic! Meat was tender and flavor is delicious with and without any sauce! I especially loved the coleslaw... try putting it on your pulled pork sandwich! Friendly atmosphere and authentic decor. cozy and well-priced, can't bear it!

Just stopped by Boones for lunch for the first time. Absolutely blown away at the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the barbecue. Some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had hands-down.

Hunger and perfect timing lead us to cross paths with this great place!! Loved the barbecue 🍗! Lots of good choices and good prices. Looks like a great place for live music and events too. I’m not often in the area but will definitely stop by again when I am!

We are on HWY 13 N & passed Boone's BBQ. We decided to stop & give it a try. Best move we've made in months👍. Among the 4 of us we had pulled pork sandwich, brisket burnt ends & ribs with coleslaw, fries & onion rings! OMG it was all so delicious. Really, really enjoyed it. The people were great & so friendly.
Highly recommend & we will absolutely be back!

Great fries, pulled pork, baked beans, and ribs. The pulled pork was a little sweeter than I was used to, but still delicious! Six different bbq sauces to choose from at the table. Great atmosphere!

We had lunch there today 7/27. Our first time there and it was so good. The pulled pork sandwichs,the chicken, fries were all very very tasty. The owner brought us a sample of the ribs and they were melt in your mouth delicious. We will definitely be coming back real soon. Service was great and so we're the prices. Go there and try. Great food, though my Fry's were a little soggier than I like. Loved the outdoor area for concerts, Machine Gun Symphony was THE BOMB!! Been wanting to see them for sometime now. The concert was shaded and perfect. We paid for VIP tables, really liked that it was seperated from the standing room only section as well. Great time, was comfortable despite covid with this set up!!

Boones is one of my favorite places to not only eat at in Bolivar but its also just a really great place to hangout. They consistently have something going on whether it is concerts, corn hole, fishing tournaments, chili cookoffs and many other events throughout the year. In the colder months, they put the indoor stage to use with live bands, comedians and even bingo.

If there are two things you don't want to miss out on, its the chicken wings and Tammy at bingo!!!

We were travelling back home to Arkansas and stopped for a quick bite but definitely found the best BBQ in the south. I got the pulled pork sandwich with original sauce, fries and beans. Not sure if he was the owner, but a gentleman came and asked how it was and it was fantastic but he made our visit even more interesting by turning on the train circling the ceiling of the building and my 2 year old son LOVED it, he also ate more here than I would've expected. Id give this place 10 stars if I could, for the customer service, we had our food in less than 5 minutes of sitting down at a table and it was FRESH and so good. I'm not exaggerating, I will definitely stop again next time I'm in the area and you should too.

I loved the decor and ambiance of the building. It is very inviting and lends a good them for a BBQ experience. The staff was friendly. I wasn’t able to attend while a live performance was happening, but there are several on the calendar I would like to attend. The food I ordered had good flavor and was served warm. My pulled chicken was a bit dry. Overall a good experience.

Bolivar MO has a surprising number of good places to eat. Boone's is a fun place to bring your friends. We had eight in our party and had a good time eating lots of bbq. Really enjoyed the different sauces and shared with each other so we got to try many items. Enjoyable, full and we will definitely be back!

Boones BBQ prices are Family Friendly, Good portions for your money.We spent Approximately 15 $ each. Wife and I had the Brisket Burnt Ends sandwiches ,Home Cut Fries,and Onion Rings. Real Good Meal.The Burnt ends were lean not fatty, very Good Taste, Home fries were good and the Onion Rings were VERY good. We used the Purple Bottle and Orange Bottle (Sweet Heat) of Sauce. The Sweet Heat was or Favorite. We didn't make it to the Blue and Green Bottle. We had the Cheese Cake for Desert which was also good. Take the exit ramp for Bolivar and take the first right hand turn for the Frontage Road South Scenic Ave. We will go back .
