American Fazl Mosque

Visiting the American Fazal Mosque in Washington DC was an incredibly enlightening and enriching experience. The mosque's serene atmosphere create a sense of peace and tranquility. The Imam and people were welcoming, friendly, and eager to share their knowledge about Islam and the mosque's history.

The prayer hall is beautifully adorned. The mosque also offers various educational programs and events that promote interfaith dialogue and understanding, making it a valuable resource for the community.

What impressed me the most was the mosque's commitment to inclusivity and diversity. They actively engage with people from all walks of life, fostering a sense of unity and acceptance. It's truly a place where people can come together, learn, and grow.

I went there to offer Megreb prayer with a friend. Atmosphere at the mosque was very friendly and spiritual. The Imam who lead the prayer was a very nice, knowledgeable, humble and sweet young man. The mosque has a separate place for females to offer prayers as well. I was very glad to see a mosque in the heart of the DC. It’s almost 100 years old historical mosque. May God bless, amen.

I was able to visit this mosque as a tourist enjoying DC. It was a great experience for me and my family. People were super nice and it’s a very nice and clean mosque. We will definitely revisit on our next DC trip.

A historic and beautiful Mosque in the heart of Washington DC. I was working in the city all week and due to the location of the Mosque I was able to walk to the Mosque and offer my prayers. The missionary in charge is also super friendly and the hospitality is great. What a blessing experience.

The Imam is very progressive and welcoming. I will highly recommend this place for school/university field trips, as well as for corporate DEIA programs. This place has many historic significances. This place was residence of the former President of the UN General Assembly Sir Muhammad Zafrarullah Khan. A must see place for DC tourists.

Excellent place of worship. It has a long history and is still very busy. It is open to anybody and I felt very welcome when coming to pray. May Allah bless this place.

Peaceful and welcoming mosque in DC since 1950! Open for 5 daily prayers. Beautiful gardens. Learn about true Islam here, all are welcome.

Used to visit this mosque as a child. Always enjoyed the programs and Friday prayers. If you are in DC area you should go and attend the prayers.

The mosque was absolutely beautiful, the hospitality was second to none. Everyone was really friendly especially the Missionary - he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable in every way. I recommend everyone to visit this mosque as it’s a foundational brick in the story of Washington DC and it’s Religious history.

Fazl Mosque is very unique, located in the heart of Washington, DC. It is close to Georgetown, white house and all the museums.

It's Very peaceful and welcoming comunity, they always welcome to everyone and they can ask questions about Islam Ahmadiyyat, Quran and the life of Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him and his promised messiah.

A historical location tucked in the Embassy Row area. Always someone there to chat on Islam with indepth knowledge. Great to visit and offer Salat in a cozy little mosque.

Memorable visit after 37 years at the American Fazl Mosque in DC. This was the national headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the USA. This vist triggered memories of all the past events, my stays with the late Respected Sheikh Mubarak, visits of the late great 4th Khalifa and so much more. The mosque has seen significant improvements visible from both inside and out.

I feel blessed to witness the fulfillment of the prophecy of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad AS (Promised Messiah): "I shall cause thy message to spread to the corners of the earth." This mosque holds immense historical and spiritual significance, providing a truly great spiritual experience.

The mosque has been a moniment for me. I first arrived on DC on 1982 and through the years it has always been there for me and my family always improving in material and spiritual aspects.
Current murabi sahib is extraordinarily cordual and help ful. Highly recomend to spend some time and get blessi gs from this house of God
