The Food is Excellent some of the Best I've had.

I chose this restaurant over two other options in the area and it really was a good experience. The place itself is quite large, on the outside it has a very good appearance and inside the decoration gives an authentic mexican restaurant experience. Food and service were great, Johnny my server did a good job.

Coming from all over SouthEast Louisiana & Gulf Coast, I think the portion size to price ratio here is Awesome! Which doesn't mean quality is lacking. That was some of the best grilled vegetables I've had at a casual Mexican place in awhile. Birria tacos only on Wednesday & it's def worth it! That's the only thing my bf orders everywhere we go & he said these are some of the best 👍 decor is beautiful, Art everywhere. Large but cozy. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Cute mural for photo op outside. I have no complaints ✨ just to eat your queso while it's still hot, or it will firm up pretty solid. Also haven't enjoyed refried beans that much in awhile. My daughter ate all her sides first which is new! Good helping of guac, lettuce, sour cream & pico de Gallo with dishes. & I greatly appreciate Vegetarian section of menu! Have to get the grilled vegetable fajitas

Food, drinks, atmosphere excellent. House margaritas perfect. Seafood queso dip perfect. Happy smiling staff, perfect. The right music, perfect. Food comes out pretty fast at the right time. The prices, great.

In my opinion El Mariachi is the most authentic and best Mexican restaurant in picayune and the surrounding area. The food is great and the staff is top notch. My kids love this place because the the interaction from the waiters and waitresses. Whenever we have family in town this is our place! If your in picayune and looking for a family restaurant worth the buck go to El Mariachi!!!

This place is awesome!! Great Mexican food! Service was on point, and food came out quick and plated hot! The service was exceptional, our server went over and above the call of duty to make sure we had a good dining experience.

The decor makes it feel like you are really in Acapulco eating food!!! I got the chimichanga al a carte but it came with a guacamole salad and sour cream and drizzled with cheese sauce. My wife got the El Patron, marinated and sliced ribeye, marinated and sliced chicken breast, and shrimp on a bed of Mexican rice with cheese drizzle serve with tortillas!!! Yum!!!! Of course the kids had corn dogs and french fries! Perfect all around family date!

Johnny is the best waiter in the place. Their food is delicious. Johnny’s service is great. He constantly checks on table. You don’t want for anthing. There is always Spanish music playing. The drinks are large and inexpensive. We eat there once a week. They just added a patio for when the weather is cooler. Price is reasonable.

The staff is very helpful and professional with food that is phenomenal.
