Most excellent! The service was friendly and the food was phenomenal. We had the seafood basket which was a steal at $8.95. The fish and shrimp were fried to perfection. The hush puppies were crisp and flavorful, and the coleslaw divine. Watch out for that tartar sauce, it is dangerous. I could chug that heavenly nectar. We will stop here whenever we are passing by!

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The customers were happy, along with the staff. I love that they only take cash. Keep big business out of small business. They don’t need to pay fees to big banks. I love that they had my favorite root beer, Barq’s . The seafood was cooked perfectly. We got a shrimp Po boy, ( the bread was perfect as well) a shrimp platter, a shrimp basket, a cheeseburger and a pecan ( best that I’ve had. It was like butter) . Everything was delicious. The potato salad was most likely the best I’ve ever had. And the tartar sauce…. I have no idea what they do, but daaanng. I wasn’t salty either. Thank you!

This is the neatest place to eat in Picayune. The owners are wonderful people - absolutely Love them! The food is delicious! We got the catfish plate that came with the catfish, fries, potato salad and buttered bread. The batter is very light and crisp and seasoned very well. Everything was hot and service was great. Oh and try the fried pickles too 😋

In the area for work and was looking for some fresh fish, prepped anyway except for fried. The grilled catfish plate did not disappoint! It was fresh and cooked to perfection...cut like butter! I will be back!

We accidently chanced to stop in. Best Club Sandwich my wife ever had! Never had it that way as we are from IL and they only make it with turkey. I had the Shrimp Basket and it was the best breading on the fried shrimp ever! Fries were made perfectly! Loved the homey atmosphere and wonderful service! Would highly recommend this place!

We love the shrimp & oyster plates. Fish on bun is really good. They know customers by name and i call it in say im calling to pick up & its always hot & service is friendly. This is our local place for seafood.

I have been gone from Picayune, MS for years and every time I come home I stop by Don's Seafood and I just "LOVE!" The lady in the front at the cash register. She has the best personality and long pretty hair! I love how friendly the staff is!

The Price is Great, and the Fried Shrimp and Catfish Baskets are AWESOME!! The Tarter Sauce is the BEST on the Coast!! Also the Service is FAST, Better than 90% of the Restaurant's in the Picayune Area.

I think this is the best place in Picayune to get a delicious seafood lunch or dinner. I always order the fish and shrimp basket because it's loaded with fresh, tasty catfish, and perfectly cooked, plump shrimp, frech fries, and garlic bread. Very filling and also, very inexpensive as well. The owners and the staff always greet u with a friendly smile soon as you walk through the door. And I personally love how easy it is to call ahead and place my order, so that my food is always ready as soon as I arrive. I recommend to anyone who hasn't tried this restaurant yet, to please do. You will not be disappointed.

Great fish basket‼It had a lot of small fried Shrimp, three pieces of Catfish, french fries, and two pieces of buttered french bread. Served with delicious tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. Yummy! And only $6.95. What a bargain!

My son is an extremely picky eater, but the food at this seafood restraunt is so amazing, he will eat his entire kids basket and a little of mine! My dad has been bringing me here since I was a little girl, and still does. Only now with his grandson in tow, who always races to sit next to his Papa! Great food, prices, and never a long wait for the food to be brought out, and always fresh. Oh, and the tartar sauce is the best around!

Love the food. Catfish is hot and fresh and delivered to your table very quickly to accommodate busy professionals on a quick lunch break. Sure, not taking debit cards is slightly inconvenient but they have an ATM onsite in case you forget to bring cash.

The food was Awesome ! The Owners allowed us to go in a few minutes before they opened , so as not to lose a Customer.... That was so nice of them to do that for us....Great Atmosphere to have lunch or dinner . Great People 👍 👌 Also..

The catfish plate has FIVE, count 'em, 5, big perfectly fried filets. Along with a pile of fries, buttered french bread, and a big bowl of great tasting cole slaw makes for a very filling plate of delicious southern comfort food. Really enjoyed it.

This hidden gem of a spot!! OMGOODNESS!! The catfish the hushpuppies the sweet tea the service but the Creme de La Creme is the POTATOE SALAD!! YES the potatoe salad!! Sweet Baby Moses i can't say enough about this place that looks like a rock but is a diamond i tell ya!! If you want delicious homemade eats with got fresh catfish and shrimp for prices that are practically giving it away this is your place!! We were started and had passed Slidell otw to home but didn't wanna wait until we reached Hattiesburg... we didn't know what to expect but we saw they served catfish and bragged in good eats.. they didn't lie!! It was so freaking good we couldn't stop eating.. now if the pie was also homemade instead of Mrs Callenders we'd be in the Doe (door)!! The service is amazing the pol i met there eating were friendly and loving and the food. Well you can read.. the food is spot on!!

Don’s Seafood was recommended by the front desk and a hit with both of us! The fried shrimp and catfish were tender, crisply fried and about perfect. It is obviously “mostly local“ clientele, which was a plus for us. While it’s unusual to find a cash only business these days, this is well worth the little bit of effort to dine here.

The food here is always outstanding with pleasant service. I always like the shrimp plate or seafood plate. The baskets are the right size for my grandson.

We love this place. The food is always good and a fair value for the money. You get a healthy portion for the price. The owners are incredibly friendly hand accommodating. The staff is the same.
