Arrived (seat yourself) and was immediately brought offer of drink. Order taken and filled fast, and they were BUSY. Food came quickly, hot and very good. Homestyle. Drink refills aplenty and server was super nice, attentive without being bothersome. I recommend this place for breakfast. Food was cooked to my request.

First time ever coming here and this is my thoughts. Trish was our server. She checked on us multiple times and is so friendly. This place is clean and lots of room inside. Family friendly. Now let's talk about what you are really here for the food. The pancake is probably one of the best that I've had. Fluffy and had the perfect crunch. Paired with hot syrup. The western omelet had flavor in every bite. My friend doesn't like omelets and tried mine and said it was delicious. The hashbrowns had the perfect amount of crunch. The biscuits tasted homemade and the gravy didn't need salt or pepper. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

Lots of food for great price. Our servers were very polite and attentive to us. We came here with our whole family and got a room to ourselves a couple years back and have been coming back.

The waitress, Judy C (hopefully I remember her name correctly) was very friendly and service was awesome. Much better service than the other place here in Bolivar.

The chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and biscuits & gravy was all very fresh and hot. The chicken fried steak was exceptionally tender as I didn’t need to use the steak knife, but could cut it with the edge of the fork. It was very tasty as well. Hash browns were cooked to perfection. Gravy was perfect as well. Nothing was greasy at all. There wasn’t any wait to be seated. I can see how this place could get so much business to have waiting to be seated, since the breakfast is so fresh and delicious.
The restroom was modern and clean.

Very good breakfast. I’m an out of towner and stopped in after several recommendations for a hot breakfast and was not disappointed. Good service, great food and reasonably priced. Loved the ambience and the “regulars” that the waitresses knew by name. I’ll have to stop by again next time I’m in Bolivar. I love local cafés!

This is a good old-style sit down restaurant. The service is good and the food is great. There are times that service is slow due to the amount of customers in the store, but usually they do well as far as the wait for food goes.

Ate breakfast here for the first time. Had the sunrise, 2 eggs, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy, best $6 spent on food in a long time! Husband had county fried steak breakfast, only $9, he was full! Will be back for sure!

This is the true meaning of a home town cafe. The food is absolutely amazing which goes perfectly with the wonderful service and prices that I promise no one can beat. There is no fault in eating here just one con, that they are not open later. Everything else about this place is gonna raise the bar for other cafes for miles away. One of the best experiences we've had in a long time. We will be back, soon.

Awesome hamburger and crispy fries. The burger comes with chips but I usually upgrade to fries. The service always starts out slowish but is always very good. The place is always busy which is why service starts out slow. Great lunch spot with a very good menu.

Love going there, it's my favorite place to eat at now, it has a country feeling inside.
They have never messed up any order that I have placed, the Servers always come back to make sure your food is right and they keep your drinks full.
The employees help each other out so you're not just sitting there waiting.
They're very friendly and courteous and always seem to be in a good mood

Used to come here a lot as a kid when my grandma, Rita Clay, worked here. I would get Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes every time with my mom. Workers are kind, the place is fairly clean. I like this place!

Nice restaurant excellent food the staff is very friendly if it was a option I would rate 4.8 not 5 because they don't have many seats and are always packed. Food is delicious. Great prices and amazing desserts I definitely recommend this restaurant

I haven't eaten that much food in a very long time portion sizes are definitely well worth the visit. All of the waitresses very friendly and Gabe extremely bright service! If you're looking for a hole in the wall that is not very busy this is not the place for you if you don't mind being in a room that's a little crowded but doable I want to eat some amazing food definitely should try best diner in Bolivar

Great place to eat, service was very good. Wife had beans and cornbread, I had poached eggs and biscuit and gravy breakfast. Eggs were cooked exactly as requested, so happy to have found this place.
Highly recommended.

Very busy and popular venue. The food was good and at a reasonable price. The service was a bit slow on our visit but in their defense the breakfast crowd was pretty large. I would visit again
