Dixon's Torchlite

Our first time at this supper club gem. WOW! It was old school supper club with a modern touch. The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The salad bar was delicious! We had prime rib and their special chicken dish-- loved it! Highly recommend the twice baked potato. Got a side of asparagus too and it was done perfectly. After the week we had, the old fashion hit the spot. It was worth the drive and a great night! Thanks!

Service was really great. Jody, one of the owners, was bartending. Cindy, the other owner, was the host. Our server, Susie, was attentive. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

We had not been there since the new owners took over. We were delighted with the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff. We ordered appetizers and salad bar both of which were delicious. The ahi tuna crisps and steamed garlic muscles were amazing! It was a large serving and we chose to use it for our main meal. The salad bar was extensive with 2 soups, spreads and crackers and rolls. Next time maybe an entree ...but the appetizer was sooooo good .

The Torch Lite definitely provides the quintessential Wisconsin Supper Club experience. Friday night fish fry with a brandy old fashioned, of course! We had the AYCE cod which comes with choice of potato, mini cole slaw, a mini loaf of warm bread served table side, and a trip to the salad bar. And, a lovely salad bar it is, featuring supper club crackers and bread sticks with cheese spread, liver pate spread, garlic toast, pickled beats, and the usual salad fixings. They filled the plate with cod and fries, so after the salad bar most people will be challenged to finish the main entre of fish. I'm not most people, (kind of a beast, if you must know), so I ordered more cod. They delivered seven more pieces, but they are about one third the size of a traditional cod fillet. I, however, enjoyed that aspect, because the smaller pieces are more readily hand held. They don't fall apart while you dip them in the delicious tartar sauce, for example. The new owners run the place well because the service went very smoothly. It's more of modern building with high ceilings giving it an open and airy feel. Apparently, the previous owners had a small menagerie of exotic animals out back. We saw a lone camel during our visit. I wouldn't get too close though... I hear those things can really hump.

Stopped by on recommendation from former employee here. Had the Cod with twice baked potato and some cheese curds. Definitely worth every dollar and the service was Top-Notch!!! We will for sure be coming back again!

What an incredible experience at Anello's Torch Lite! The sign by the road is classic and doesn't appear to have changed at all from the 1970's or 1980's. However, the exterior facade is gorgeous and appears to be recently renovated with layers of whitewashed stone. The interior is truly a mix of old and new, eclectic and modern, artistic, whimsical, earthy and fun. There were etched goblets for water, airy open spaces, an incredible varnished and shellacked "inside of a tree count-the-rings" irregular wood bench, a knight in armor guarding the door, a ceiling-high clear board waterfall and the list goes on and on. What an interesting and dynamic environment. To think, I was here for dinner with family after my grandmother's funeral. One of the members of our family had the "cod special" and remarked, "This is the best cod I've had in all my life. Honestly!" He is a former internal medicine doctor and has lived over 70 years. His remark is truly saying something considering how many times he has eaten in his life. Experience and wisdom with age! My walleye was incredibly well-prepared and visually appealing. Anello's is everything you could want in a restaurant and more. A true "diamond in the rough". If you are debating over places, go here. We did and we're glad we did. We hope you are as pleasantly surprised as we were.

Celebrated my Mom's 80th birthday at the Torch Lite on Saturday. Every aspect of the evening was great! Awesome bartender, great service and the salad bar and entrees were excellent. Cindy and her staff went the extra mile to make my Mom's birthday special. We'll definitely be back!

I love this place. Very old school with a zoo in the back. Old fashioned salad bar. Primerib was super rare as I requested. Only failure both times I have been there are the martinis. Had the oddly spelt es car go, it was odd!

Very welcoming atmosphere! Large bright bar area, with excellent beverages. Dining room is light and bright, with large windows and adequate seating. Salad bar has many traditional offerings, and 2 kinds of soup. Menu has a variety of steaks and traditional supper club offerings as well as an extensive Italian menu. Rib eye was very tasty, and lasagna was another favorite with our group.

We come up here every year for one or two Packer game weekends and it has become one of our all time favorites. We travel a lot and go out to eat a lot and The Torch Lite is one of the best…even against some of the bigger city restaurants. This year, my wife and I were celebrating our birthdays and Judy (our awesome waitress) brought us complimentary glasses of champagne. We love the salad bar! It has a wide selection of supper club favorites. We ordered the Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection (the perfect medium rare). We also got a chance to meet the new owners (Jody and Cindy) and loved their passion and commitment to excellence. We will come back again, and again, and again…

Wow! What a wonderful experience. Thr food was amazing! He got the rack of ribs and the Mac and cheese. I got the shrimp scampi. The ribs were fall off the bone with some great apple BBQ sauce and the Mac and cheese did not disappoint, sooo much yummy gooeyness going on. The shrimp in the scampi has great flavor and the sauces with everything else was better than expected. Plus we absolutely loved the salad and soup bar! I highly highly recommend this place!

Amazing service, great dinner options, very inviting atmosphere! The owner's are onsite and stop to greet everyone who comes in! Definitely a must on everyone's list when coming into the area.

This place is beautiful n the atmosphere is awesome in every way. Of course the food is always the best.

We were very pleased with our visit. We came for the first time for our anniversary. The owners introduced them selves and were very nice. They even treated us to some champagne to celebrate. The food was amazing. We will be back.

The amount of food for the price is unbelievable. Very high quality Meats and Seafood and Chicken. Believe me I know good food when I taste it. I'm in love with their prime rib, the poor man's Lobster, and any Italian Dish. The chef knows what he is doing and I can't say this enough the creations that he makes are delicious. I believe the price is reasonable for the amount of food that you get. It's very uncommon for me to leave there with an empty plate . I always have to take home a doggy bag . The owners are extremely friendly to all that enter be it just for a drink or for fine dining.
