St. Louis County Library - Bridgeton Trails Branch

Visited the library today for the first time . If you are looking for the library that is closest to St. Louis airport this is about 5 min drive . My husband was able to go the airport and I was able to spend a few enjoyable hours here . Wonderful resource . Clean bathrooms. Vending machine on site . Standing and sitting desks for computers .

This is my local branch and I love it.

I mainly use the Libby and Hoolpa apps and do everything electronic (you can do everything from their app and app partners!). I love borrowing the ebooks and reading them on my kindle app. I also love that I can join the reading programs and do it all from my phone.

When I do go into a branch it is usually to attend the book club event. This branch has an established group there and they are very inviting. A library staff member moderates the session and keeps the conversation going.

I've also used the computers and small conference rooms. They have a large computer area with lots of computers. It's easy to login with your library card and you start with 1 hour of time. If noone else is waiting, you can use it longer. You can also print from your computer.
The conference rooms are similar. 1 hour timeframe and you can put your name on the list. If they are in use, they will give you a buzzer and you can go in after that person. I've used the rooms for calls and interviews and it worked out well.

I highly recommend you check out your local branch. Events are free, reading spaces are set up for optimal enjoyment, staff is always helpful and friendly and they have many resources to utilize!

An incredible catalog with basically any book or research material available. It even has ebooks and is organized with many places to sit and read. Staff can help you but the new remodel makes it very easy to navigate. Checking out books is very quick and easy taking no longer than 15 seconds. Copier machines are available and costing 30 cents or so but the vending machine is insanely expensive. I just wish the bike racks were a different style because they are really close together but they are very secure.

Well laid out, friendly and helpful staff - provided the special cozy feeling only a library can give.

Quiet community library with excellent children's programs! Wednesdays at 10 are preschool story times, and Thursdays at 10 are baby story times. A great place to meet people in the community, and best of all, everything is free!

May not look like much from outside but has nice kids section with computers, activity table and facilities inside are updated compare to outside. Daughter loves it

Love this library. Unlimited Internet usage on computers if no one is waiting,incredible audio book collection, great magazines to choose from,a lot of community events, and a quiet place to work.
