Elimwood Hotel, A Ramada by Wyndham

About once to twice a year I make a trip to St Louis/St Charles area and I always prefer to stay at Elimwood Hotel in Maryland Heights. No matter what time of night I arrive I am always greeted the moment I walk into the lobby. You feel welcome instantly. The bed is always cozy with plenty of pillows. The shower pressure is always strong (love this) The view from the room is nice no matter the weather or time of year. I love feeding the turtles and fish in the lake…. And the birds that like to steal the food. I even had a bird eat from my hand last fall! The full hot breakfast bar and other options are more than filling! I have made many memories with my family here for over 20 years. I noticed they have half the building closed off as they are in the middle of a remodel…how exciting!! I almost forgot to mention they also offer transportation to the airport, concerts, and other places! Looking forward to this fall to return again.

Staff was very friendly.
Room was very clean a beautiful lake view. Bed was very comfortable and wifi was great.

Rooms were very clean. Bed very comfortable. Friendly staff. We used the shuttle service to the airport and stayed on our return trip. Very accommodating. The hotel was east to find from the interstate. Would definitely stay here again

I travel the nation for a living and this hotel was one of the best. My car broke down and they shuttled me back and forth. Best service ever thank you

This hotel is situated in a highly convenient location that offers easy access to many places. The staff at the front desk are amiable and welcoming, and the hotel provides complimentary breakfast and essential amenities such as heaters and hair dryers. While these amenities may not be flawless, they are the most suitable for the price range.

This is a Great Hotel with wonderful service. All of the staff was incredible and Kel, Jerry, Gracie, Tracy, we’re exceptional.

She went out of her way to make sure that we are well taken care of even the last few of us stuck around after the Heartland Hypnosis Conference.

We had 2 rooms and stayed 3 nights, check in was easy, both rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. We were on the 6th floor and it was quiet the whole time we were at the hotel. Breakfast in the mornings was good with many options. The only thing I didn’t care for was the water temperature in the shower was a little on the cool side for me but I like hot showers.. and there was not a tub stopper for the tubs so I could bathed my grandson. Other then that is was a great stay for the money and we will stay here again.

clean room, nice hotel in a great location if you're attending a concert at the amphitheater and you're from out of town. Has a nice patio outside surrounded by a little Pond with turtles and birds flying around and nice greenery. very serene. room had a comfy bed, nice view of the little pond. breakfast offered alot of options hot and cold and the coffee they had in the lobby for breakfast was hot and fresh and good. love the noon checkout time as well. will return to stay here again in future.

I came to STL for a business trip. The room is bright. bathroom is spacious, shampoo and body wash lotion is very good. Surrounding environment is beautiful, a lake backyard. Compared with its price, the hotel is number 1 recommended in nearby area. Fitness room has lots of fitness utilities. BTW, if u like sunshine side room, u can ask the counter receptionist
. they are happy to choose a room for you.

Had a very good time here. Quiet and safe location 5 min drive from St.Charles where is my favorite cafe and wonderful historical Main Street. Thanks

Very nice place and people. My family traveled STL and lived in the hotel for 4 days. The hotel just beside route 70 and nearby airport.we lived in the second floor, there are 2 double size beds and big walk-in bathrooms. All the items in the room is pretty clean. I would say it’s value for money and definitely suggest it to my friends and will book it again when visit stl next time.

The room was clean and the staff is amazing! The cab I ordered online never showed up and I was in desperate need of a ride to a wedding, last minute! Not only did they get me there on time, but they gave me a late checkout the next day to ensure I had a ride to the airport! I would recommend this place 100 times over!!

We had a very pleasant stay here. A nice hotel with clean rooms and affordable prices. The staff are friendly and willing to help with requests big or small. Would use again!

The room was clean! Hotels in this area are normally awful and dirty. The breakfast was amazing with so many things to choose from. When we come out her again this will definitely be the hotel we stay in. Also everyone was friendly and the hotel was very quiet especially for being near a concert venue

Great hotel and great location, close to Hollywood casino and Ameristar. Rooms are a nices size and bed was extremely comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. You only get daily housekeeping if you stay 5 nights or more, but that doesn't bother me at all. You can anything you need by calling the front desk. It was very quiet as well.
It is an older hotel, used to be a Holiday Inn express and purchased right before COVID. Upgrades will happen as things continue to open up and people travel.

I recommend this hotel if your visiting St. Louis.

I was on-site event coordinator for a 100-150 person conference that took place at this hotel. I would like to commend this locations Entire Staff. This was the best TEAM I've worked with since the inception of the conference. Without question.

I stayed as a guest at the hotel myself during the conference – Hey, the finishes aren’t 5-star – but you're not getting charged 5-star prices either. The rooms were clean & the staff amazing. Free breakfast was good – an improvement actually, over when it was a Holiday Inn! And OMG....They have a freaking nature wonderland out back!! Little turtles that swim across a lake to be fed & sun themselves on rocks...a bird seriously just hoped right next to me & made me feel like Snow White & ate a piece of banana being fed to the turtles right next to me!!! It was a WONDERFUL relaxing distraction from the conference that had me running for 5 days.

Every single person I spoke with or asked something of, from desk to kitchen & housekeeping to management, was kind & helpful. Kel, hotel manager, was absolutely amazing - I have no idea when she slept; if I could gift her vacation days I would. Her staff's responsiveness to us seems to be a direct reflection of her leadership & the environment she fosters. For the first time as coordinator, I was able to entirely trust that the rooms were being cleaned & restocked as needed without my oversight. The time this saved me in the mornings & during lunches, running between rooms, was absolutely precious.

No conference is without issues & there were a few. But everyone did everything in their immediate power to try & resolve each situation to the best of their ability as quickly as possible. That is absolutely stellar. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

We had a great experience at this hotel even with a few hiccups. Our mini fridge did not work and they quickly got us another one. Breakfast was nice and tasty. The staff was really helpful despite being short staffed and possibly over worked. A cool bonus is the pond behind the hotel with tons of turtles to see.

My wife and I have stayed here twice now when visiting the St. Louis area and will likely stay here again on future visits. It's convenient being only 10 minutes drive from the airport, and about 25 minutes to the Gateway Arch (downtown area). The hotel is set in a clean, safe, quiet and spacious area in-between what seem to be corporate type offices. Didn't wake up to any loud sounds or other raucous guests. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean and everything in the room was working. 04/12/2021

Hotel room is nice and clean, and love the comfortable bed and soft bedding materials. Staffs are kind and also breakfast is amazing as well! Every time I visit St. Louis, I go to Elimwood Hotel.

A little dated but for a night it's okay and can't beat the free park and fly.
