M.C.T.A. Shooting Range

The managers went above and beyond to be helpful. As a relatively new shooter I appreciated the time she took to walk me through some home safety and concealed carry protocol. This is my new favorite place to shoot. Can't wait to come back.

Great range. They having all types of training and shooting matches

I actually was brought here by a buddy of mines and when I say I had this was the best time I’ve ever had at a range in my life. I can’t speak on the instructors too much because I hadn’t any interactions with them personally but, I have noticed how well they do their jobs. I have spoken to the owner and is a very knowledgeable man. He helped me learn the basics.

Easily the best range in the area. Membership prices are reasonable, range has great staff. Mike the owner is a very knowledgeable instructor. Worth every penny I’ve spent the last 3 years here

Nice Range so I went ahead and became a member. separate 50yd, 100yd & 200yd with good berms even running on the sides of every bay. 25yd Pistol side and action bay are nice as well. Still a fairly chill range, just follow the rules. Tends to be busy on public days and usually some training classes going on so just have to be courteous. If rainy then expect mud. Only wish it had steel targets setup.

I have been to this range roughly twice a year or more since 2017. Its a quite a drive for me but has and still is worth the drive for me. I love being able to zero in rifles at 200yds, the personel staff has continued to be welcoming and educational and has surpassed my expectations of hospitality. A big thank you to you all at M.C.T.A.

I am a Black guy and I went here with a Black woman and we had an excellent time. Best range in Louisiana... Too bad it's in Mississippi. Great price, great people, best range. The girl I went with even got a pair of free electronic ear muffs from a white lady who just wanted to be nice to her. If someone had a bad experience then they were either unsafe or disrespectful.

Had some time before we had to head back home, so the family and I went, awesome staff, very knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Treated us Yanks like family and we all had a awesome time. Highly recommend, and plan on spending more time there on our next visit. Thanks again for the great memories, and safe, as well as fun afternoon!

All of the experienced instructors are amazing! They have all taken their time with me, help correct where I need correction and give praise when deserved! They have become more like family to me and my fiance. They aren't all ridged like most range instructors that's for dang sure!

Mike, Thom and Frank are all hard working, great people! The range has come a long way in improvements from when I first came out a few years ago and are always working and looking to improve! Will forever call this range home as long as Mississippi is home!

I had an awesome experience taking the Basic Handgun course. Bill is an incredibly knowledgeable, professional and PATIENT instructor. He definitely cares about you having a positive outcome. He and Mike are very friendly and personable. I will be going back!

Had a great time today with my family. The people at MCTA were very friendly and helpful. Bought a membership plan on many more days at the range.

First time at a shooting range and had a blast. The owner was extremely helpful with everything, helped me sight in my rifle and then took about 30 mins of his time to teach my girlfriend a few good pointers for a first time shooter. Would really recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning again and again.

Very experienced and helpful staff that loves to teach. Safe place without extreme rule nazis. Many lanes and hardly ever crowded. I highly recommend. Also, don't believe the false reviews from the childish antifa goblins that recently got banned. Mike and his staff are welcoming to all good people.

Love the way this outdoor range is set up

Great range with fantastic staff! Came here while visiting family from out of state and if it wasn’t such a drive I’d make this my go-to place. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff and a clean and SAFE setup. Great place with reasonable rates and overall a very positive visit. Have every intention of stopping by again when I’m next in town. Thanks!

Even though it's an hour drive each way for me to go to this range, versus the one that is 5 minutes from my front door, it's worth it because there is nowhere else locally where you can shoot and move, or shoot from unconventional positions (prone, on your back on the ground, from behind cover, etc.), and as a member you have 24/7 access to the range.

This place is great! Friendly staff, safe environment, everything you could want in a range! Hopefully I can make it down 87 times or more this coming year.

Absolutely the best place around to fire your modern sporting rifle!

I, personally, have never shot at this range, or even visited the facilities. The owner's stance on refusing to support terrorism or those who would "train" in order to threaten terrorism...that needs to be supported. Good on you, crew. I'll be looking you up if I'm in your area. Keep up the great work!
