A Special Blend

What a lovely Saturday morning spot! I had a delicious cheese Danish and a really tasty Chai latte! Everyone who helped with my order was very friendly and helpful.

A Special Blend is a special place. Lots of food, drinks, smiles and joy make this an awesome place to find fun and laughter. Great coffee too! Make sure you stop in!

Our visit was a great outing with my 10 year old daughter and her friend! Everything was great!....friendly staff, a spotlessly clean shop, delicious foods from local bakeries, and drinks both girls rated better than Starbucks! The best part though was supporting and exposing the girls to a business that is positively impacting the community and having them see how valuable people with special challenges can be.

Our first time here was on March 3, 2024. We loved it so much we came back the next day. It’s a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and a better cause! I would like to say thank you to all staff members for a making us feel like locals and for making this place feel different and unique. We are from Florida but will definitely come back in the future!!

Pros:
-super clean space.
-varied seating options
-looks like there’s a separate room for remote workers or groups that need a meeting space. I loved that
-I like their name-calling concept of giving people different adjectives such as joyful, cheerful, etc.
-specialty drinks are lovely

What I recommend:
-the lumberjack latte!!
-surprisingly, their savory scone. I’m not a scone person, because I usually think they’re too hard, but they warmed it up for me and it tasted so good. If you’re looking for something small, light, and savory, I highly recommend

I love this place! My favorite coffee shop in Greensboro.
I tried a specialty Sweet Spartan, and a new item on the menu, the affigato on top of a gluten-free brownie…. So delicious!! All the employees were so sweet and took the time to make me feel special. I am grateful for the wonderful experience here today.

My iced latte was excellent and the broccoli cheddar quiche tasty. Good price, comfortable atmosphere and prompt, cheerful service. But what really sets the place apart is the spirit of love and community within the four walls. What a wonderful idea to blend employees with special needs and well-trained management into a winning combination. Special Blend is my favorite coffee shop in town.

This was my first time trying this coffee shop and it was just adorable. From the service to the atmosphere, it was just so warm and inviting. The coffee I had was great and cheese danish wow! I will definitely be coming here more often!

I have heard about this place and this is my first visit. I will definitely be back. The staff is friendly, the location is very clean, the coffee is amazing and the concept is really freaking cool. I enjoyed a vanilla latte and a strawberry smoothie.

This place is so incredible! They hire crew members with different abilities to work as the welcoming staff and as the baristas! It's a very welcoming and loving atmosphere. Chris opened the door for me as I arrived and greeted me with a smile. I ordered a Hazelnut Iced Coffee and it was so tasty. The staff members are so friendly. It's a brand new establishment off Market St. in Greensboro and is SO beautiful inside. They have a selection of coffees, frappes, smoothies, and teas and many bakery items. They offer free WiFi and several seating areas. The grand opening is Nov. 3 so please make it a point to stop by and make it your new coffee establishment! You won't be disappointed. Support local business and this awesome team who are working to make the workplace accessible to EVERYONE!!!

Such a cute little coffee shop! The overall concept is super awesome and I wish there were more businesses like this one. Our food was yummy and the service was great too.

I didn't know about this place! I'm sitting here on a Sunday afternoon eating delicious brownies and loving the live music. Staff is super friendly and helpful. My new fave place!

Very friendly local community coffee that has a great cause. Coffee here is fantastic, also try their chai tea latte which is super awesome. And if you like cheese danishes they are really delicious, I saw a couple of reviews who said the danishes weren’t good and lord have mercy those people have issues or just don’t know what tastes good. 5 stars for this establishment. I wish we had more companies like this in our communities. Me and my family will definitely be coming back to this place for coffee and pastries. Keep up the good work!!!

Wonderful coffee shop to sit and relax. Nicest staff that remembers you from your last visit and enjoy having a good laugh. You need to go experience!

We came in for a cup of coffee this Saturday; staff were inviting and friendly. Stephen and other baristas made our two year old feel welcome. Cookie and white mocha were both delicious!

As a tourist I have to say this place is a great way
to start off your morning. Everyone that works
here is super nice and will be happy to help you
with anything you need. I ordered a peach
smoothie and I can tell it was made with love and
care. Super good environment, super clean, and
super inviting. Everyone here puts a smile on your
face the moment you walk in. Highly
recommended.

Was looking for a new coffee shop to try and I absolutely loved this place! The latte was super flavorful and I love the mission of the coffee shop to employ and help out those with disabilities, a very loving and caring thing to do. Will definitely come back!🤩
