Bamboo House

This review is long overdue, moved to n.c 2 years ago and we looooove chinese food as our go to take out meal. Was hard at first to find a chinese restaurant in the area we felt matched the style and flavor we have liked for years. But then we took a chance at bamboo house skeptical at first that a small dated shopping center area would have good restaurants but Wooooooow ! 9/10!!! We loveeee the food!! We have eaten what feels like dozens and dozens of different chinese restaurants and buffets throughout the United states and the number 1 on our list is a similar chinese take out in new jersey that blew us away!!! But bamboo is a solid number 2 or 3 on our list. As long as we live in greensboro this will be our regular spot! Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service!

I went around 4 PM on Tuesday and got dinner for my family. I ordered a large beef with black bean sauce. The beef was tender and I really enjoyed all the vegetables that were included. The vegetables were broccoli, bamboo, shoots, carrots, green peppers, snow, peas, and baby corn. I also ordered the happy family and that was very delicious. I had a small vegetable lo mein, which was great. I also ordered a small, sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was very tender and moist and I really enjoyed the sauce that came on the side. It wasn’t overly sweet, just right. I’ve been reluctant to try this place because of the low star reviews but this place is excellent and I’m so glad I came here to try it. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

I went here with my husband and mother-in-law on a Sunday at noonish. It wasn't super busy. The food was delicious!! Very flavorful compared to some other Asian restaurants I've been to recently. We got 3 lunch specials for $35ish. I would love to go back the next time we are in Greensboro.

Had delivery from here once before from a delivery app, and thought it was really good, so I decided to save on delivery fees and go get take out this evening. Had to go back to my delivery email to make sure I had the right place because the reviews/ratings were so much better on the delivery app. Once I reassured myself I had the same place I placed my order online on their website. Arrived at the restaurant and looked at the menu and was pleased to see the prices were the same (often not the case at other restaurants where there is a significant markup/fees when ordering online even direct through the restaurant's site). Once again the food was great, and service was too. Will be back for sure.

I have been picking up Chinese food here for over 10 years. You guys have never let me down. Please don’t change a thing! The food is always delicious! But whoever was cooking today deserves major credit. General Tso’s was the best! Hands down. Perfect

Highly recommend Bamboo House as your only Chinese food option. The food is delicious. The business is family owned and operated and they are part of our community. The dining room and kitchen are all immaculately clean. My family has always enjoyed every menu option we order. We eat there at least once a week.

We always get the General Tso's chicken and wonton soup to go and we always love it.

This place is always my go to and it never fails, the woman and boy up front are always so nice and the food is great. I’m from Boston and its so hard to find chinese food as good as up there and this comes very close. They’re always on top of their game, never had anything missing or ruined from them. Amazing Lunch special prices as well.

I love love LOVE this place. Its one of the only places i know of on this side of town that adds bean sprouts to their fried rice. I know it seems small but when you like something and none of the eateries you know about prepare your food the way you like, you notice and appreciate it more when you find a spot that does it just the way you like without any fuss. Ive been eating here for about 2 years now and the food has been consistently good. Their delivery is always on time and the food is always still fresh and hot. Its a little more expensive than other places on this side of town but for the consistency and the service its worth the price!

Excellent quality food. Ordered shrimp mixed vegetables. The owners were very nice. Order was fast for walk in. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Been eating here weekly for atleast 8 years now. To the point where I switched my normal order up & they called to make sure I meant to order that. Love the customer service & great food! Highly recommend!

Yes I typically spend $20-30 for just me. But I eat more than most any 3 people lol. The food is always great. Still piping hot long after I get home. The friendly service is the best!!!

Our regular Chinese takeout place was closed so we came to Bamboo House and walked in and placed our order. The young lady working the counter was pleasant and very helpful. Order was ready in less than 10 minutes. When we arrived at our house all the food was still very warm and tasted great. Will definitely order from them again. Thanks!

Bamboo house has become our favorite place for Chinese in the Triad. The vegetable dumplings are really good. My teenage daughter can slam an order in record time... And no, she doesn't want to share.

I (front desk) and housekeepers always order from here at least once a week or once every other week. Their food always consistent, the best sweet and sour chicken in greensboro! The rice is sticky, the portions are huge for the price, and food is always good.They always arrive when they say they will per delivery 30-40minutes. If you're looking for great chinese food that offers delivery, this is it!!
