We had a fun time. It is a cute little bookstore and very nice, clean, well maintained.
I like the staff picks and international sections. Though I do feel bed about taking their display books, but better to make a sell for them than to worry about that.
I recommend stopping in if you get the chance.

What a delight to discover that my new home has such an amazing independent bookstore. They have an incredible selection - it’s nigh impossible for me to go without taking a book home with me. Very helpful and warm staff. Solid event schedule. Great location.

What an awesome place. Great book selection, wine, beer, coffee and while I was there a songwriters round was being performed in the back. We need more places like this.

I absolutely adore being in downtown Greensboro, everything about the heart of the city makes my heart smile. What I love about it is the fact that every time I revisit I find a new aesthetic. I had never been in this book store and I regret not checking it out before. It’s neat, aged, and gives the feel every book store should have. The only thing I wish was better was the the employee presence, he seemed a bit disconnected the day I visited. If you wake up wanting a cozy coffee and craving a new book I would definitely check Scuppernong out. It’s a true gem, especially on a sunny day.

Scuppernong forever!!!

Visited Greensboro before moving here in 2015 and was so happy and comforted to find this place. This bookstore has connected me to community and supported my growth and learning for almost a decade. A gem of Greensboro—books, people, cafe, events, and all.

I absolutely adore this bookstore. The back room is beautiful to read in on a sunny day and I love the overall energy of the space. A lot of books to choose from as well as a small cafe bar with coffees, teas, wine, etc. Perfect, cozy hideaway to study or read or meet up with friends.

It was a nice place to walk around aimlessly. The workers there were nice and tried really hard to find me a book that I’d like by Filipino authors. I purchased two books and was happy to support this bookstore!

Come check out this awesome local bookstore in downtown Greensboro. This place has a lot of local and unique books. There are quite a few on Greensboro history that I dork out on. Anyway if you are literate I would check this place out.

I am new to Greensboro and thrilled to have this fabulous indie bookstore on main. It's laid out beautifully and hosts a variety of different book clubs and events. Sealed the deal when I spotted this review of one of my favorite books on writing. I look forward to spending more time in here!

Exquisite.

Cozy bookstore with a variety of new and used books— a collection of gems. There’s a coffee bar inside and a reading room in the back where they host events. Plus, there’s a sweet little children’s section. I look forward to making it out to some of there events soon!

My bestie had been talking about Scuppernong when we were planning places to visit when I was in town from Ohio - it did not disappoint. The perfect atmosphere, a great selection, friendly people... It was delightful! Definitely stop by Scuppernong if you're in town!

I knew as soon as I walked in that I was going to love this bookstore. There's just nothing that compares to the smell of books!! There was a wide variety of new books available, the kids section was great and there were some obscure finds in the used section. There's also a coffee bar so that you can relax and sip while you browse. The customer service was great as well as the overall atmosphere.

Funky little locally owned bookstore always hosting different events. They have a coffee bar and a used book section.

The atmosphere of the store makes the book buying experience better than that if a chain. The selection here is also top notch.

Loved it! Everything we miss about independently owned book stores. Several cozy areas to read, and be comfortable. A bar that serves wine and coffee. Friendly, helpful employees. Even though I could have gotten books for less online, I bought 2 books because these businesses need to be present. B&N has nothing on this place.

This place is like a little piece of home for me, from Portland, OR. It is like a tiny Powell’s Bookstore. There’s a great selection of books, they have a drama section!, great and friendly staff, and a full bar with coffee, tea, beer, wine, and snacks. This is my top favorite spot in downtown Greensboro.

My first time visiting and it is a very inviting space, with a coffee, tea & wine bar. Attended the Greensboro Bound Literary Festival event here and found the book discussion enjoyable and educational. I will definitely visit again to consider my next book purchases.

Nice staff and great selection of books, was a quick visit for me and I hope to be back soon. Found this nice path behind the store, rainbow 🌈 road.
