My favorite park located in Greensboro— I come here to clear my mind and go for a nice walk. The park is always clean. Many other visitors have dogs, children, bikes, etc. This is the spot for it all. It’s directly beside the science center as well. The trail is a nice length and it connects to shelters, playgrounds, benches, dog parks, basketball court, tennis court baseball field, and etc.

Even though the park is within the city, it still feels like an escape to the countryside. And to add to that, it has wonderful amenities that people of all ages can enjoy. Pedal boats, carousel, playground, zipline, carousel, paved bike lane, several picnic shelters of various sizes.

It's scenic and highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. Especially if you have some toddlers/young children.

It is a nice park next to the Greensboro Science Museum.
It has playgrounds, picnic tables, shelters, fishing, paddle boating, walking, jogging, dog parks, and shuttle bus service. They have zipline, too.
There are ducks and geese that can entertain kids. Frog statues. 🐸 paddle boats are for 8$ for half an hour for 5 people trip. The last boat is at 5.30 pm and it closes at 6 pm. The lake is small, but the ride is enjoyable.
I saw people hosting parties for birthday, gender reveal, and also just get together. There are a lot of areas to cover by foot, so a good walk is ensured.

Such a beautiful spot to take the kids or if you want to enjoy a walk. I didn't get to fully explore the area but what I did get to see was beautiful and well kept. Can't wait to share with my kids.

This is my favorite park in Greensboro. It’s super cute and is about 1.65 miles around, which is great for runners. It’s perfect in the morning since it’s quieter. Very dog friendly, esp since there is a huge dog park near the entrance and free poo bags throughout the park

What a great spot for a family to enjoy the day! Touch pool was great in the aquarium section. Dinosaurs we amazing. The zoo area had a good selection of animals to see and interact with. The playground was entertaining. Food look good but didn't have any, just got a few drinks. Gift shop was affordable, not to over priced! Great time was had by all!

I always feel so nostalgic coming to Country Park! We usually start at the battleground, and loop around to Country Park.

it’s a really nice park, i would cut across from the military park to do a longer loop. other than more trees are needed by the lake, more add more shade. it’s well kept and nice with the cute turtle 🐢 figurines.

Enjoyable walking paths and clean park. The shaved ice is also very good. The paddle boats are a fun introduction to navigating water with the animal and dragon designed boats. Not a lot of shade so wear sunglasses or hats while on the water. There are a lot of other fun looking activities too. Seems least crowded in the early afternoons on weekdays.

This park is truly wonderful. My wife and I walk it nearly every day. It has a beautiful lake with a lower and upper half, and lots of cute ducks and geese. In the spring and summer you can often see baby ducks and goslings. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables, a surprisingly good sno cone place that's only open on weekends, a zip line that you can take if you pay at the science center nearby, there's of course the science center itself though you need to enter via nearby Lawndale Rd. to get in, there's a nice playground with decent bathrooms, a wooden swing with a beautiful view of the lake, a dog park, an inspiration garden, and more. It even connects directly to the military park nearby, and my understanding is that you can walk all the way down to the Greensboro sports center if you walk far enough, but we've never tried. It's a beautiful place, with so many fun things to do and see. Best of all, it's mostly closed to cars and away from roads so you can usually walk without worry. I do wish it was completely closed to cars, though.

Country park is beautiful. It has a little bit of everything from a small zip line over the lake to pedleboats, playground, picnic areas with shelter, trail access, dog park and more. It's a great place to come and enjoy alone or with others. There is also access to the Science Center and Military Park.

It's a beautiful park. The Breast Cancer walk was there, and it was a perfect day. Loved every moment of a walk through the park!

Beautiful and serene. Perfect for so many reasons. Morning walks and meditation, evening scrolls, family gatherings, nature watching and connecting with friends. Easily accessible to the Greensboro Science Center, The Battle Forest Military Park, Lewis Recreation center and there’s a cemetery too but I forgot the name.

The park itself is great! Path around the lake with playgrounds, pedal boats, picnic areas, and bathrooms.
But the dog park is awesome! The only downfall is it’s a 10min walk from the parking lot. But the large dog area is huge! Half of it is an open field, the other half is trees to run through and chase squirrels. Small walking path around the fence line if you don’t feel like sitting.
There is plenty of shade, a few chairs to sit in, water fountain, and poop station. It’s well maintained and our favorite park in the state.

We had a great time here. Our grandchildren are a bit too old for the wonder of it all, but they enjoyed themselves anyway. This is an absolute great place to bring younger children!

Really nice area to get outdoors. Lots of options for things to do. We rode our bikes along the Greenway and enjoyed the scenery.

This park has everything. Hiking trails, paddle boats in season, and picnic areas. For an added expense, the Greensboro Science Center is adjacent to it. Guilford Battleground Federal Park is also connected to it with historical markers and it's own hiking trails. The park is good if you only have a little time or hours to explore.
