I Elizabeth Guthrie bought a 2009 Nissan cube from ( gate city motorcars on 4-29-2020 . i drove from the car lot to old 85 to go home as soon as i got on old 85 the service engine light came on . I immediately called the owner of Gate City and informed him the service engine light came on . He said to bring back the next morning and he would take care of the problem . its been an ongoing problem since 4-29-2020 .Gate city motorcars replaced (2) Oxygen sensors and the catalytic converter I myself have replaced these items in this order : spark Plugs , valve cover gasket , a used tire and the radiator and coolant . every time the service / check engine light has come on its goes back to the same original issue . the Nissan cube has had multiple ignition problems and the owner of gate city refuses to fix the issue and now refuses to speak with me , to the point he forwards my calls and has my cell number blocked . threatened if i miss one payment he will not hesitate to repo my car . Also i received a letter from the NC DMV regarding him having to many liens in his name / company name and the NC DMV is holding the title to my Nissan cube til he the owner of gate city complies with the laws of NC and lien holders services . to be honest i want my money back that i have to spend to fix the issues and my down payment and my weekly payments . he the owner , knew the car had major ignition problems and sold a lemon . he told me that if the car starts to act like its not getting enough gas to give it a little more gas and it will be just fine . as of 6-24-2020 the check engine light is on .I had after all auto repair run a diagnostics on my Nissan cube and its got multiple miss fires and something about # 2 cylinder is misfiring , on 5-29-2020 i was in Columbus County for a funeral and my Nissan cube was spitting and sputtering and stalled on me multiple times and i brought it to wheel inn for them to do a diagnostic on it and it said that it has multiple misfires and # 4 cylinder is the main one

i would like a full refund ; the down payment , the weekly payments and the money ive paid for the parts to repair the oringinal issues the cube hashad since 4-29-2020 / or they fix the problem that it is having with the multiple misfires . and also reinburse me for the time ive had to miss from work . as of 6-24-2020 its 16 hours . I was scheduled for a double shift and now i cannot drive my car because of the misfiring .

Although after thinking things through, i relize when buying a used car from a lot you get someone elses headache.
Maybe in the future i will do business with them again because even a lot can get shafted. Gate city refuses to speak with me , but they have no problem taking there payment out every Friday .
