Spring Garden Bakery & Coffee

A wonderful place and area to stop in for a coffee!! I will definitely be stopping by again. The speciality latte was delicious.

Probably my favorite place in Greensboro if I am honest. My girlfriend and I live nearby and walk here every day we are able to do so. We are big fans of the jalapeno & gouda quiche, but haven't had anything we don't like! The coffee selection is good and fairly priced. I feel like a lot of coffee shops in the area almost break the bank, and this place doesn't do that.
The employees are also always delightful.

What a wonderful bakery! They have the most delicious caramel macchiato that they make with fresh roasted beans. We got a variety of desserts and every single thing tasted like it was freshly baked out of grandmas kitchen. Very cozy vibes inside too. Not to mention their prices are so affordable

This little bakery and coffee shop is a real gem. The coffee is excellent, and I mean really good. And it's not expensive, a cappuccino was $3.99. I had two.
The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive.
The baked goods are fresh and are made on the premises, you can watch the Baker make them.
Great seating with tables, sofas, and chairs. Free wifi too.
Ample parking in the back, off street.
This is a place where you can go for a friendly meeting, by yourself, and spend a few hours. I definitely recommend it.

A great place to go for lunch! Pretty quick, friendly, and great food! They have rotating specials that are always a great pick if you do not know what to choose.

Love this place. Good coffee, good fresh food, wonderful pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and good breads. The service and atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

I love this place so much! It's my go to coffee shop near Market Street and Spring Garden. Unlike Starbucks, their coffee doesn't taste burnt and they have the BEST iced coffee. It's so smooth and you can really taste the aroma of the beans. I would recommend everyone trying this coffee shop and their baked goods, especially since this is one of the few bakeries in Gboro that has tasty vegan baked goods.

Sourdough Thursdays! I don't know if that is the official name but I just picked up a loaf. The bread baker has been baking most of his life. I have to say, it's very good. I toasted a slice with butter and homemade wild black berry jelly.

I was in town and looking for a local coffee shop. Google led me here and it was spot on. Nice and welcoming staff, yummy pumpkin and chocolate chip muffin. I got a table by the window and enjoyed some quiet time. They offered a wide variety of coffee drinks and hot teas as well as pastries to choose from. It's not fancy but it's quaint and perfect. Next time I'm in town I plan to visit again.

Lovely place with super friendly folks at the counter. Apparently this is the oldest bakery in town. The cranberry scone was amazing and I was told their muffins are really famous, and the barista brewed a great Cappuccino. They have ample outside and inside seating and plenty of extra parking at the back of the store.

This was are first time being here, an i got to say it's a very nice little place where you can just go an relax have a coffee with some good choices of bread, muffins, cookies, an much more. Or may be just do some studying, or just go an play bored games. It's a nice little place.

I cannot say enough good things about this bakery!! They went above and beyond to make allergy accommodations for my cake order and were so kind each time I spoke with their staff. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious! Will be back again for the service and amazing quality products.

Buy local! The coffee was delicious and the muffin was even better! I happened to also be there on a buy one muffin, get one free day, which was an added bonus. Convenient, quick parking spaces, cute vibe, and friendly staff. 100% would recommend.

Some of the croissants and bear claws that I've had have been a little dense, but the vegan muffins are worth trying! The environment is inviting and quiet for work and study.

Wish I had taken pics but we ate everything so fast ha ha. We had the vegan pumpkin and choc muffins OMG LUSH! We had the vegan choc chip cookie YUM, we had the Blondie brownie - vegan of course delish and a vegan fruit brownie which was heavenly. This place is lovely and the vegan options make it great!

A quaint older style atmosphere of the bakery you used to frequent years ago. Excellent local coffees and the best pastries around. And don't forget that they do have a lunch menu.

I had never shopped at this place. I took a chance ordering a vegan cake. WOW!! How delicious it was!! It was a pleasant on the palate. Everyone was delighted with the rich flavor of that vanilla sponge cake. It wasn't too sweet, it wasn't bland, it was perfect. Totally recommended!!
