Sanders Ridge Vineyard & Winery

Drove down the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway to visit this destination/winery. The venue is one of a kind, grounds are natural and beautiful. We had a tasting (5 healthy pours for $15) which we enjoyed in the porch. Even though the venue was setting up for an afternoon wedding, they graciously allowed us to stay! We enjoyed the Viognier, the Pinot Gris and the classic 57 but was blown away with the blackberry dessert wine! Normally not a sweet wine drinker but this was a pleasant surprise! Such a great spot, looking forward to stopping again for lunch.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the cabin at Sanders Ridge Vineyard and Winery. Beautiful, peaceful location. Jennifer was very welcoming and introduced us to some delicious and unique wines. Delicious lunch at the restaurant. Highly recommend visiting Sanders Ridge!

This place is absolutely amazing! Beautiful venue with delicious wine. The service was phenomenal and very friendly. I would highly recommend taking the time to visit Sander Ridge. All the wine And food my friends tried couldn’t have been better. The outdoor seating was perfect next to the pond 👌

We absolutely LOVED everything about this winery.....all the dry whites....the chicken wrap and ham with apple butter sandwich...and to top it off the pumpkin crisp for dessert😋 The staff was awesome also, definitely will be back💗

This is a beautiful winery and vineyard. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always a great time. I brought some friends here to do some wine tasting and we had a blast. The wines are delicious. They have a great selection. The food was absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of food to pair with the wines. The service was amazing. I’d highly recommend this place anytime.

The staff was very friendly. The vineyard is gorgeous. It was so relaxing & nice to take in the picturesque scenery. I definitely plan on visiting again.

Beautiful, serene setting off the beaten path. Staff was very knowledgeable with their wines. Whites were the star of the day this trip. Recommend the Viognier and barrel Oaked Chardonnay (best sellers for a reason)!

We stayed at this winery through Harvest Host. We were able to purchase some wine and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings while traveling.

Very nice set up. Nice and nestled to in the country. Hate the hours are so short (12-4 for food and 12-5), but really nice place and great set up.

The staff is really courteous and helpful with selecting wines for tasting flights. Would def go again. Traveled about 55 mins from Greensboro

They have one cabin here and my wife and I were able to rent it for 2 nights at the last minute for a quick getaway for my wife's birthday. It is super cozy in the middle of a very quiet and dark area.
Included in the price of the cabin is wine tasting. We had those 2 flights, plus another, plus 2 glasses of our favorites and bought 3 bottles. Yes, we loved it!

It was my first time visiting Sanders Ridge and it was an absolutely beautiful winery! Their selection of wines was excellent and their food was amazing and fresh! The property was so peaceful and beautiful, I highly recommend!

What a lovely vineyard location. Nice wine flights offered, wine tastings and some wonderful wine finds discovered. We had a terrific lunch with fantastic service, too. Will come back when family is here to visit and just for lunch, too. Nice menu, good prices, well worth the trip. The Guest cottage behind the tasting room is wonderful, too.

Greeted with smiles from the friendly staff and a blueberry slushie! So delicious! Beautiful setting for a delicious lunch. Look forward to returning when in the area again.

Visiting today! The homemade chicken salad with leaf lettuce from their garden is to die for!! I had a flight of white wines which were all delicious! I had a hard time choosing, but please see the attached photo for my very favorites!! The atmosphere inside the tasting room and on the grounds are beautiful and relaxed! I couldn't speak highly enough of the estate's family member that welcomed me, prepared the wine and food, and gave me great service!! I love this place! It's special!! I will be back!!! Oh what a beautiful hidden gem!
From the main entrance to the Gorgeous Chateau the windy path keeps you in suspense wondering what youll find at the end of the ride! And what you find is definitely breathtaking!
The food is so delicious and the wines will certainly be easy on your palate!
Harvest Host did well by accepting this one as a host! Its off the well beaten path but I assure you, youll be glad you ventured out to try this one!
We had the pull pork sandwich with the pasta side and the apple salad with seasoned pecans bleu cheese and apple poppy seed dressing with a warm piece of corn bread and for dessert we had the cheesecake with caramel and pecan topping and apple crisp with a lovely ice cream!!

Absolutely enjoyed our time here at Sanders! The wine was so so good, and the staff very attentive and patient with our group’s many questions - I liked the peach mango and blackberry wines! The Roots Restaurant inside was absolutely amazing as well. They have a limited menu, but I highly recommend the burger with bacon jam & brie cheese! The chef also took the time to show us the greenhouse, which was an awesome addition to the beautiful vineyard.

This is our favorite vineyard. We are 1 hour away but any opportunity we have to come we are willing to drive there. We love the place itself and the service is always top notch. We love sweet wine and the selection is outstanding.

Just delightful, a wide variety of whites and reds in dry, semi sweet and sweet. My favorite was Classic 57. Smooth from the tip of the tongue to the back of your throat. You can almost taste the blackberries. And the outdoor atmosphere is so beautiful! You can feel the stress drain away. A must visit for any wine lover.

My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting Sanders Ridge Winery and Restaurant! The establishment offers beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! It is truly farm-to-table dining. We enjoyed tasting a wide variety of wines. The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. We look forward visiting Sanders Ridge again soon!

As I sit here enjoying my tasty lunch and look out the window at the manicured grounds and lovely pond, I decide to give this establishment a 5 star review! I have been so impressed from the time I turned onto the property. Thoroughly enjoyed my winemail tasty, stroll on the property and meal. The staff have been professional, courteous and down to earth. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I will definitely be back and will bring friends and family!
