Papa's Pizza To Go

First time eating here. We all got the pizza buffet. The price wasn't too bad and the food was great. They had a nice salad bar. They had several varieties of pizza and bread sticks. The bread sticks were soooo good! They also had pasta but I didn't have room to try any. The cinnamon desert pizza was great as well. The lady up front was very nice and friendly. I can't wait to go back.

We are new to Yadkinville and the first time eating papa's buffet, it was really good. Some of the best cheese sticks. They have two types of pasta spaghetti and routini, You could choose three types of sauces Marinara, meat and Alfredo. The meat sauce actually has meat on a buffet which is great, There Alfredo sauce is so good , and I'm picky about my Alfredo sauce. Next time I will order some wings, I hear they are good here. We definitely will come back.

Pizza is decent, if not better here. This is not your typical cafeteria/gas station pizza, dry & greasy. Sit down place w/buffet. Great place for lunch. Try a veggie, chicken and broccoli, or a southwest pizza. Those are solid and tasty options. In lieu of pizza, try a chicken Alfredo pasta or an Italian sub. Try them out, you’ll taste the difference.

I absolutely love this place. Pizza is top notch every single time. I will say that I usually get takeout and the pizza seems to be more fresh!

Me and my wife went to lunch at Papa’s today and the lady at the register was always nice and friendly. And was impressed with selection on the buffet and how well that kept it rotated and hot food on it. My wife and enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

First time stopping by. Food on the buffet smelled delicious and was fresh when I went for a pick up order. It was a small little pizza dinner which seemed very inviting for a family of 6.

This pizza buffet is a great place to have a cheap meal and spend time with friends and family. The staff is friendly and they are always glad to help.

It's gotten expensive... but the buffet is great and they will make you any kind of pizza you want!!! Wings are my fav?!

Edit: thank you so much for your reply Anthony. For anyone reading this review I can’t say enough good things about the food here or how good the character of the owner is. I am definitely not trying to scare you away from eating here or anything like that. I just needed to provide some honest feedback. The food is still delicious and well worth your time. Especially ordering take out. The Buffalo chicken pizza has become a new favorite of mine. My original review is below as follows.

The owner will probably immediately know who I am when I say I’ve been coming here since I was about 6 years old and for years we came every Friday night(hi Anthony!). Even though I’m giving this place 5/5 stars I still have complaints I feel need to be addressed.

This place is still good but it doesn’t live up to the potential it once reached. It’s very fairly priced and the food is good. But it seems that the newer staff simply don’t understand how to run a buffet the best. You constantly have to ask for fresh stuff, wether that be fresh pizza, fresh lettuce or sauce. The employees are not rude, but they definitely don’t seem nearly as enthusiastic as the old guard. And the restaurant stays fairly dirty which has turned some of my personal friends away from visiting. I know buffets get busy and messy but I have noticed a serious increase in how often things appear dirty.

I think there needs to be a Leadership evaluation Anthony, as it would break my heart if you guys ever went under. Some slight tweaks and I think you go back to the perfect pizza buffet.

The employees are nice. You are a great guy and have done so much to help out so please do not take this review as bashing. Merely constructive criticism about a restaurant I LOVE. And of course I know COVID hasn’t made things any easier for you and your employees).

We've just recently tried Papa's. Our second trip was as great as the first!! Great pizza! Love the cheese on the pizza!! The staff, although young, were very polite and cheerful! Good food + welcoming staff = our repeat business! Good job!!

Best pizza in town! Their Garden salad is delicious and large enough to share. The square deluxe pizza has a little bit of everything on it and has a deep dish feel.

Love the staff! They're always friendly! The buffet is great and for the most part, they keep it well stocked during busy hours. You can request things for them to put out on the buffet that isn't already out. Mine and my husband's favorites are- pepperoni rolls, bambino sticks, piggy sticks and cherry dessert pizza!

I had to go to Yadkinville North Carolina for some business. When I passed this business I noticed the parking lot was packed. This was a good indication they had good food so when I went back through the town I stopped for dinner. I must say I was blown away by the customer service and the food was delicious. You will not be disappointed. I love to see that the employees seem genuinely happy to be at work. The food was fresh and the people were extraordinary A+

We had the buffet, salad and pizza. We also ordered the boneless wings. Everything was hot/cold and very good. For a small place they have a good selection of pizzas, subs, etc. This is not a fast food restaurant!! Everything is made when you order so of course there's a little wait but it's well worth it. Great place for a leisurely meal.

Papa's pizza has been in this area for a while now and my family love eating there, dine-in or take-out. What makes their pizza good is it doesn't have the commercial taste like all the chain restaurants. It tastes original and handcrafted...in a good way. Favorites to check out: 1) Square pizza 2) Piggy sticks 3) Thin crust pizza: if you like less bread like me 4) Last but not least you haven't lived if you've never had the Garden salad, or any of their salads for that matter. Talk about fresh ingredients!

There have been a few times where our order was wrong, or it didn't show up when ordered online but Papa's have always did whatever they could to make it right, and we keep going back. Overall this is an outstanding pizza joint with friendly people and good food.
