Brandon Hills Vineyard

The owners, Larry and Elizabeth, were sweet and personable. The wines we tasted were lovely. It is a beautiful on the patio. We will definitely revisit.

What a wonderful Saturday afternoon at Brandon Hills Vineyard. The 40-acre vineyard is nestled in the Yadkin Valley appellation. Celebrated a birthday. Staff invited us to use the gazebo. Great suggestion 👌🏼 A couple members of our party had been before and gave excellent wine recommendations. The tasting room staff were attentive and gave us answers to questions about each wine variety (grown from European stock or from local fruits infused in the blueberry wine). So very fortunate to meet the owner, Larry. He explained the Barcelona origins of the Ssngria wine we sampled. He came out to the gazebo to greet and interact with us. We learned about the various vineyard varietal grapes, family harvests, off-site processing, and on-site cellar storage. We learned about their wines earning a Gold Medal from the NC Fine Wines competition. Cannot wait for the Facebook announcement for the debut of the limited-release, burbouon barrel-aged Red Rebel.

This winery is the best! Beautiful vineyard and great wines! I highly recommend the Rebel Red. Ask for Mandi, she is the best worker. She knows her wine and recommends the best to you!

Under new ownership and both owners were present. Justin did our wine tasting and was great.

Tastings were $15 with a ridel glass. Most of the wines we tasted were older 2008 and good. My favorite was the amaretto because it was so unique. Both wines are reds were good.

We loved the popcorn instead of crackers as a platte cleanser.

Location is beautiful. Wish the new owners much success.

1st time going there. It's a Charming little place with Big views, friendly staff, good wine and delicious slushies. If you are in the area or just visiting vineyards/wineries I suggest checking out this one.

The wines you’ll have to try for yourself. I was surprised with how many I enjoyed. Left with over a case containing most of their flavors. Doubled up on a few.

The time, attention, and care that we experienced at Brandon Hills Vineyard is probably the best I have experienced in 15 years of visiting NC wineries, with lots of dry and sweet wines (and wine slushies) as well to please all. You will probably not find too many wineries that offer this large selection of dry and sweet. After a difficult last few months (for many), we were treated with generous pours of some great wines, and wonderful conversation. It was such a treat to meet Brandon and I think he's probably the best at hosting in the area, he was positive, entertaining and knowledgeable--the perfect combination. The kindness was very appreciated, dog-friendly, and a great, relaxing area to just take in the view and share a glass. Thank you so much. We highly recommend visiting Brandon Hills.

Wow! Went for the first time today. Their wine is sooo good. We are sweet wine drinkers but we did the tasting which gives you all I believe 13 wines. Most of the dry were ok to us but the sweet are over the top. Our favorites are Amaretto Amore and Peach. We found a place to go on the weekends now. He didn’t give his name but I think it was Justin handling it all. He did excellent. He kept up with all and after a few hours remembered us. Go here just go. You definitely won’t regret it.

The winery is recently under new ownership, a couple from South Africa. So if you were scared off by previous owners arguing, they're gone, so come back!
New owners bought the remaining wine from previous owners and have added a new wine. They also are selling champagne and beer. Some snacks such as cheese and crackers are available but you're welcome to bring a picnic.
The view is pleasant. Sit under the vine covered gazebo for nice experience.

A lovely place to stop for a glass of wine. The owners, Larry and Elizabeth, and Justin, the tasting room manager, always make you feel at home. The Raptor Red and their Rose are our current favorites. They also serve sparkling wines from France and Italy as well as craft beer. We love to go to the wine releases, wine pairing events, and the annual raptor release where they release a rehabilitated raptor from the NC Raptor Center.

Fantastic experience. Very enjoyable wines coupled with a knowledgeable and easy going guide (Justin). Would highly recommend a stop at this vineyard. Beautiful views, friendly staff and tasty wine selections.

We had a great experience yesterday. We chose to do the tasting. It’s 11 wines for $15 and they send you home with a Riedel glass. I loved so many of the wines I tasted and had a tough time deciding what to buy! My favorites ended up being the Rosé, the White Merlot, the Sweet Amelia, the Red Raptor (which supports the Raptor Center in Huntersville) and the Pinot Gris...so just a few LOL. The outside covered patio offers beautiful views and a cool breeze, even in September. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and informed of us several upcoming events! I also found out that they’re a dog-friendly venue, so that’s huge for me! Who doesn’t love dogs and taking their dogs places?! I’ll definitely go back and introduce others to Brandon Hills Vineyard.

We stopped here first on our wine tour. Justin was a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the wines. The property is abosulutely beautiful and the selection of wines is quite diverse . The tasting consisted of 11 pours with palate cleansing snacks a available on the bar. Beer and and champagne available for the non-whinos. Connected to the Carolina raptor center and yadkin humane society

This small winery out in the country is well worth the drive. My wife and I stop by at least once a month and buy a few bottles plus have a drink while there. The white merlot and raspberry rendezvous are our favorites but I have tried all their wines and all are delicious. The last time we were there we meet the owners, very nice down to earth people, and he told us that they stay small to keep the highest quality of wines. You can taste this in every sip. We have traveled all over the three surrounding states and everytime we do a tasting elsewhere we compare them to brandon hills...few if any have tasted better.

The best winery in Yadkin County. Justin is very knowledgeable about the wine and sets a very welcoming environment.

The new owners are delightful and shared with us their dreams for the winery. The wine is wonderful and they have done lots of work towards providing a place for their patrons to gather for fun, fellowship, and wine.

Enjoyed talking with Justin and trying a flight of wines. Great quiet place to enjoy a few glasses of wine and the beautiful weather outside on their decks and patios. Took the Raptor Red and the Rosé home!

Lovely winery with a cozy feel. The rolling hills and local farms provide a beautiful backdrop for an event. Justin, our host, was very in tune with the whole history and vibe of the place. Pin BHV for a visit in the Yadkin Valley area.
