Phoenix Grill & Event Center

I had gone here several times with my sister, who lived near Baldwin. It was her favorite local place to eat. When she passed away last month, we all met at her house to get things squared away. At the end of the day, we decided to go to the Phoenix for supper. It was shortly after that when we decided to hold her celebration of life at their event center.
I called Kristin, their event coordinator, and she explained our options for rooms, food, etc... She was very helpful and made sure we were considering everything we needed for our event. I felt confident going into the day, knowing at least our venue was ready. We had to bring our own flowers, centerpieces, and pastor, of course, but the Phoenix provided us with a beautiful room, comfortable seating and dining, a projector, screen and microphone, and delicious food afterward.
I really can't say enough about how well we were treated and accommodated. It's not that we were super demanding, I don't think, but I really got the sense that they wanted this to be a memorable and stress-free experience, such as it was. Chelsea, our server/supervisor, did an amazing job of communicating with me when we needed more food ordered, and she ran the whole room by herself!
Oh, and the prices were so reasonable for what we got. I doubt we will ever have an event here again, but I would highly recommend them because of what they did for us,

We had a wedding here. Perfect weather! Excellent gazebo space for the ceremony. We set chairs along the walk way up to the space.

The food was wonderful, we had the Ellsworth Cheese Curds, French Dip, Spicy pasta with chicken.

The only thing we could suggest to elevate the meal experience.... don't skimp on quality dinner ware. The utensils were poor quality and represents a cheap dinner not the fine dining the chef has created. We understand having an event center attached, but we feel separating the restaurant and event center would go a long way as far as the dining experience.
Over all this is an awesome place to spend an evening.

Very good food, friendly service with a great atmosphere. Our son ordered the boneless wings and after letting everyone else try them they all agreed they were better than BWW. I had the nightly special, cheese ravioli in a Alfredo sauce, and it was delicious. My wife had the strawberry chicken salad and loved it. Great menu with something for everyone.

I ordered the fire shrimp, cheese curds and potato skins. Everything came out hot and fresh! My favorite of the three apps would definitely be the fire shrimp. It wasn't too spicy, had an amazing sauce and crunch. I would definitely go back! The servers were wonderful and the place was very cozy and clean.

We loved Phoenix Grill! The food choices are amazing and varied. We started with the shrimp, the Mac and cheese bites which had gouda cheese and a wonderful sauce for doing, and the potstickets. We really enjoyed the apps, but we're almost full already. I got the Shrimp and steak fajitas which were great. My wife said the prime rib sandwich (prime French Dip) was great. Allen said the bacon cheeseburger was amazing. His wife had the Cranberry Turkey sandwich and said it was delicious. Server could have been more attentive, but overall it was a great experience at a normal cost with a very nice atmosphere.

Large and spacious. Really love the fish tank. Large portions so you get your money's worth. Deep fried green beans smash. Staff is friendly. Prime rib sandwich was excellent.

Stopped on a whim during road trip. Got super lucky. Everything perfect! Saved as a favorite...will stop here again. Highly Recommend!

I tried this place for the first time after a recommendation from down the road. AMAZING!!!!
The food was so good. The service was great. She was very helpful and helped with recommending food. They truly have a great menu. I wish I could have tried more. I can't wait to get back to the area to eat there again. I highly recommend this place!! You must go. I also have to mention the Bathrooms. They were very clean and nice. Don't forget to check out the poster in the men's room...it topped off the amazing experience at Phoenix Grill.

Chelsea was a very good waitress! She was attentive and fun. Great food and service. My first time there and will go back. Thank you Chelsea for making our lunch time there special. Signed the three ladies that were impressed by you.

Date night special. We had chicken cannelloni and chicken parm. Both outstanding! Chocolate covered strawberries and olive oil cake for dessert... Also fantastic. We will be back!

Nice big place, it has a family dining room with booths and tables and a full-size bar with extra seating.
The place is spotless, a full timbered decor with warm inviting lighting. The booths are comfortable, uphostered with tastefully colorful tapestry fabric.

There are very large skylight windows through which you can see the clouds float by, or the stars twinkling depend on the time.e for day.

The center piece of the room is a large saltwater aquarium that's filled with a multitude of colorful, entertaining fish and aquatic life.

Well enough about the ambience, low and behold the food is really great also.

I had the Reuben with thick cut corned beef sauerkraut, and marbled bread. I have to tell you the slabs of corned beef in my sandwich were impressively set in melt in your mouth Swiss cheese and the Phoenix's very own creamy thousand island dressing.

Served with seasoned fries it was a mighty fine meal to behold. No dessert needed much to the waitress chagrin.

I can't wait for my next trip to WI.

The food was good. I had the 14 oz ribeye done perfectly rare. They also had boneless wings which were amazing. One of the best things was the 1919 on tap

Haven't been there early enough to get my lunch card punched in a while I was so happy the bartender reminded me. I had the chicken bacon bbq special with fries. But I think I would've really enjoyed the Cole slaw with this sandwich. It was delicious but somehow my bbq ended up all over the bottom of my bun so it was messy and I almost used a knife and fork, solely because there's a weird voice telling me not to lick my fingers nowadays(I miss that). Service was great, per usual. Food was hot and fast! I love the daily specials. Get full for a sawbuck! Check out the Facebook page for fault special and entertainment schedule. Menu is also online. I recommend the Cajun Fire Pasta with shrimp. Omg yum!

Food was good as always. I love the atmosphere, not a bar, but not too formal. Our waitress was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Great place for a special occasion.

We didn't eat in Minneapolis cause we need to get going. I read the reviews and felt good of our choice for lunch. It was better than imagined. Stylish and cozy. In the middle of nowhere but it works.
We started with a cup of lemon chicken soup incredible and so creamy. Angus sliced prime rub with seasoned peppers and chips. We split the sandwich. The perfect filler for a meal.
A very great clean, relaxing and great food for the everyday common working individual.

Always a great experience here. I was recently here for a party and service and food were top notch. I really like the fire shrimp and tacos, but the food for the party was great too.

Wife and I went here for the first time today to have lunch. Place was very clean. Wasn't very busy. Our waitress was great and attentive. Wife ordered the walleye sandwich with sweet potato fries and I ordered the club sandwich with chips.

Didn't have to wait to long for our food. They both were very good. The toasted bun definitely made the sandwhich, which by the way was to big for me to finish.

We both would definitely go back.

Love this place, great atmosphere and staff! I ate by myself here for lunch while waiting for my skydive adventure. Just had the seared tuna appetizer and a side salad with the sesame lime dressing, perfect for a light lunch and both a lick the plate clean kind of meal. Of course since it was my birthday, I also had to have a slice of plain cheesecake just to finish off the meal. Perfect.

Great food!! Yum! Good atmosphere and you can stay close to home for a really good dining experience! Not have to go to the Twin Cities or Eau Claire!!
