North Meets South Bar & Grill

The food here is spectacular! I would recommend something but everything I've tried on the menu is amazing. Be sure to ask for the steak sauce when ordering the delicious steak sandwich. It's homemade and wonderful. The Cuban is awesome! Their bacon is exceptional. It's worth the trip from anywhere.

The bar and grill is a typical Wisconsin bar and grill as far as the looks goes. You order at the bar and they bring your food out to you. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food also is. But this is delicious bar food. Better than I’ve had anywhere.
The place is busy and people are coming in non stop. I can see why, and smell why, and taste why. This is one of my all time favorite places.

I legitimately dream about the cuban deluxe sandwich - it’s phenomenal and one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. The dago was also delicious! Can’t wait to stop in for another amazing meal.

Nice clean simple Wisconsin Bar with super good food and drinks. The food was so delicious that we enjoyed it before I even took photos of the entrees. The cheese curds and onion rings were delicious. I had the Sicilian Hot Dago which was sooo good. My wife had the Cuban sandwich which I had a bite of. It also was so good. I can’t wait to go back to Baldwin WI.

The owners and workers are absolutely wonderful; they are friendly, thoughtful, and passionate about what they do.

Food is amazing (the Spicy Dago and Deluxe Cuban are our favorites) but you can't go wrong with anything off the menu. Drinks are well priced and cold. Bloody Mary is a must if you stop by in the AM. (Did someone say candied bacon?!

This is a must stop for anyone who hasn't been. Great to see such a great establishment thrive in a small town.

Excellent place in Baldwin right on Main St Kitty corner from Bailey Park.

The bartender was nice and pleasant to chat with about very topics. We only got fries because we ate supper already. They were made fresh and he had put out the condiments already.

Wide variety of beverages. I wish that they had one or two beers on tap - maybe Spotted Cow and whatever domestic beer people like.

Amazing Bar! The owners are great! Amazing food for the prices! I got a Burger, cooked perfectly, and I highly recommend adding the candied bacon! They have live bands as well! Highly Recommend!

Freaking amazing home-cooked, fresh meals. Best Patty Melt I’ve ever eaten!! The house-cut fries are incredible and the owners/wait staff are second to none. In a world full of chaos, this place definitely brings back the very best of old-school hospitality!!

I had the Cuban, and all I can say is WOW. If up are anywhere within 50 miles makes the trip over to have 1. It's amazing. I'm telling the world!

We came across this place while having to run to Baldwin and decided to look for somewhere to grab some food...so glad we stopped here! The food was AMAZING!! I had the Sicilian Dago and it was hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had at a restaurant in years. My husband had the Cuban and that was equally as delicious! By no means your typical bar food. Super cute patio that we were able to hang out on and enjoy. We can't wait to come back!

Great little bar in downtown Baldwin. Owner is very nice and a great cook! Food is awesome.

Truth is, since moving here a few months ago and hearing many (many!) great things about their phenomenal fare, we’ve stopped in several times but opted to leave because of long waits (…understandably, never a bad sign.. and now we know WHY!) But this past Thursday, we decided to stick it out… and MAMA, after just the outstanding ”Virgin Mary” alone — garnished with candied BACON Todd makes himself! — we knew we’d made the right choice.

And THEN for the REAL treats: A steak sandwich for me — tender strips of melt-in-your-mouth strips of juicy, juicy steak, piled high with mushrooms and onions — and a patty melt for my bride (BOTH of these, FLAVOR EXPLOSIONS in our mouths!!). The quality of beef: Out of this world!

But maybe the best part: Joy AND Todd were BOTH so inviting, welcoming and proud of their offerings — and rightly so! — it only added to the whole experience.

Can not WAIT to get back!

UPDATE: My bride and I went back with our daughter, had their Sicilian Dago and Chicken Strips ... PHENOMENAL! And Todd, just as gracious of a host as ever. OH, and same with Hope, our new server. Great service (and servers!) reflect great OWNERS!

I've been hearing how great their food is, and finally stopped in last night. The Cuban sandwich was the BEST sandwich i've ever had. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

I love this place, it's been completely revamped, not dingy and scary like before! The new owners are great, and he brought his years of being a head chief along In making the food second to none! The only way I can explain it is it's like high class bar food! He has really elevated the cusine out of that little kitchen. If you are in Baldwin definitely worth stopping in! Oh ya great cold beer too!

Friendly staff and great food. The Deluxe Cuban was amazing. Start with a Cuban plus bacon, then add tomatoes, lettuce, and jalapenos!!!
Other options beside burgers are Dagos, a steak sandwich, and pizza. Looking forward to going back.

This small town bar has a welcoming atmosphere coupled with fantastic offerings. When I bit into my patty melt I made a nosie that caused the owner to look up and ask me if everything was okay. I have not had a restaurant delivery my favorite sandwich so perfectly in a long time, coupled with fresh Ellsworth cheese curds right from the fryer and a cold beer, the perfect experience. 10/10 will visit again.

Was recommended to this place by a friend. Had the Cuban deluxe. Best. Cuban. Ever!! Bartender (owner?) was super friendly. I will definitely be back to try more food!! Whodathunk a small lil bar would have such amazing food?? Definitely worth your time to check it out.
