Lawton Public Library

I enjoy getting my taxes done at the library from AARP. Library staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome.

Clean. Educational. A/C. Nice staff. FREE. Wheelchair accessible entryway, isles, computers, reading area, and bathroom. As well as family bathroom and kids reading / play area. ** Vending machines and ATM in lobby. **

*** NO eating in main library, only in Lobby. ***

I absolutely love the people that work there. They are very nice and helpful and they can make jokes with you and not be all serious. Some times the movies are a little out of place but they try to tell you that and they will help you out very quickly if you need help finding things. I absolutely love the Lawton public library!!! 👍👍👍👍👍♥♥♥

Best Library I have ever been to. There are Sooo many free resources as well as affordable resources here. Helpful, Kind, courteous staff. Vending machines if you need a snack. Public use Computers, Printer that takes debit and credit cards, cash and change. Very easy to navigate as a new person to the area. Thank you!

Wonderful and helpful staff so nice. I have a deaf daughter and she can be pretty loud but they r so understanding and kind about the fact that she can't tell she's getting loud. Thank you so much.

We love our local library! They've got great meeting spaces, tons of great books and they've always got some awesome activity planned!

I haven't went to a public library as much as I have this one in my life. I love this place. My daughter loves this place as well. They have an awesome selection for both parents and children. The staff is always willing to help any where they can and always friendly. It's always so easy to check out new books, movies, or launch pads and recheck them out. All in all its a great place to be.

Never had a bad experience. I go in most days to read the newspaper, job hunt, and do some studying. All staff are very helpful and professional. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't know about "Overdrive". Wow. I love to read. Lifesaver. Being a fully accessible public facility, you have to allow for certain downsides but the staff do an admirable job of handling that.
I will be a regular fixture for a long time to come.
Despite recent reports, I wouldn't discourage anybody from visiting.

Lovely little library. The kid and teen section are rather large and they have a great play section set up with a large 2 level pirate ship. They have a smaller section for kids 4 and under with smaller toys and a softer floor. Consistently seem to bring in new books for all ages and types. The staff is helpful and nice. There is a large section of computers to use though I've not used them myself there is a place to reserve one and they have time limits so everyone gets time. There are also good meeting centers. They have a monthly book club that I've not yet participated in. The online system is easy to use and reserve books. My family will continue to go until we move.

I voulunteer here during the summer and it's wonderful. The staff are always helpful and eager to help you with anything. They always have new events for the whole family and give regularly give away toys and such in the children's area. Amazing selection of books. If you can't find a book you need, they'll happily help you.

Library is modern, in a safe area.

They have a cool pirate ship for kids to play in.

Only a Karen would care about the grass being a little long.

Great people work at this library. They help me with suggestions to explore new authors and let me know if I have already checked out a book since I get stuck on authors I like. Very helpful and friendly.

We're so happy that the library is open again, even if we have to wear masks. My children I've been chomping at the bit to get back inside here, our first day back we have a stack of books.

A place of memory that reminds you of wonderful things that are forgotten. An annex of the Library of Congress tended to by people dedicated to helping anyone.
