Baker's Sweets Bistro & Bakery

Absolute gem in Sumter. Was there on business and this became my go-to spot. Clean, friendly and LOTS to offer when it comes to breakfast, lunch and desserts. Highly recommend the Lox and Bagel, Turkey and Cheddar croissant and the blueberry muffin (to die for). The service was great and prices are fair. Quality is really notable as well!

Came here for brunch, got me eggs benedict and a caramel macchiato for dine-in and sweets to go. The food and sweets taste good, the coffee is not too sweet, which I like it. The place has strong coffee smells and it's cozy. Kinda hard to find a parking spot here. It's pretty much busy in the morning till brunch time.

I was there with my co-workers. We had a nice lunch together, and everyone indicated their food was very good. Specifically mentioned were the sweet potato fries, regular French fries, chicken chunks, shrimp and grits, and Philly cheese steak sandwich.

This is my new go to for lunch. The staff are so friendly and everything that we get has been top notch! We are working through trying everything in the menu and every time we try something new, it ends up being our new favorite. Highly recommend.

This place is responsible for me falling off my diet. You can gain weight just looking at the display of all the incredible items available. In addition to all the sweets, they have an excellent menu offering all types of sandwiches and full meals. Highly recommend Bakers Sweets for great coffee and deserts...

I stumbled upon Baker's Sweets and I'm so glad I did! Their menu offers a variety of delicious options, from savory sandwiches to decadent desserts. The relaxed ambiance and tasty food keep me coming back for more.

Had a wonderful breakfast here with family. The service was great and the food was very very tasty! Thank you for this location. We will be sure to return to again when visiting our family. Many blessings to all for the New Year!

Phenomenal! Wish I had known about this place earlier. My father in law and I went here for breakfast this morning. Very clean, great service and the food was amazing. Loved the coffee. Would definitely stop by again :) also so happy to see gluten free and dairy free options available. Thank you for a pleasant experience. 5 stars from us!

Great Service, Great Food. They call thier home fries hash browns, haha. Even thier kids meals are really good portions. They have serve yourself coffee with a variety of flavors. That's what really makes it clutch for me. They should bring back Gluten free options.

Today I went to Bakers Sweets for the second time. I got a medium carmel macchiato and a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with loaded baked potato soup as my side. It was all fantastic! The chicken salad was light on the mayo but had a lot of flavor. The baked potato soup tasted like they baked them themselves and made the soup. It was thick and creamy with a lot of bacon in it! 10/10 recommend of you war in the area!

Food is great and reasonably priced with lots of great bakery and coffee options! The servers are always very kind but expect to wait just a tad longer during a rush. Favorite breakfast place in town.

One of the best breakfast/brunch spot in Sumter. I literally stop here every morning to get my day started with their delicious freshly brew coffee ! 10/10 would highly recommend and the staff always friendly and professional :) Below’s a picture I took of my freshly brew iced caramel macchiato with almond milk & caramel drizzle !!!

This place is amazing. I came here for the first time yesterday with a friend & was back today to bring my mother! Friendly staff, they even gave me my brownie I forgot on the counter yesterday after getting my coffee! The coffee is sooo good, frozen is the best blended coffee with the smoothest texture. The food, oh my God! I am so upset that I live an hour & a half away cuz this would so be my new favorite Cafe. Will be back anytime im in sumter in the future! The sweets are incredible as well.

So I finally got his name. MR.Devin, He is the guy behind it all in the mornings. He knows how to put the love in those sandwiches in the morning. And of course he knows how to make your drink. You got to stop by in the morning and show Devin some love.

Great customer service and nice atmosphere. Food is always cooked to order. Hot and fresh for hot food. The sweets or desserts are delicious as well.

I have been coming for dine in and also getting baked goods from this location for 10 years now and while sometimes something is off, generally the baked items are so good it doesn’t matter what is off.

The muffins could stand to be cooked in a different manner, but they still taste great. The cakes are my favorite and I have never had a bad piece from here.

Most of my dine in experiences have been perfect too. My only recommendations are these; clean the vents and fans everywhere including the bathrooms (gross) and get some bike racks and outdoor seating for the warmer weather months to promote walking and bike riding.

I highly recommend this one and in Lake City!
