Used to dine here a lot. Service is okay and food started tasting generic. Update:: Recently ate here again a few times. Seems to have gotten better. Good food for price. Good servers, not a long wait to get food. Nice environment, tv's, lots of model cars, etc. Bar to relax if needed.

Use to come here 20 yrs ago with my great uncle Bob and Aunt Nan! Food is still just as good and the service is the best around. Everyone of the employees was courteous, kind, attentive, and smiling along with constant eye contact. Prices are superb and the atmosphere inside is nostalgic. Definitely going to keep coming back!

Absolutely love this place. Everyone is always so friendly, the waiters, waitresses, owner, cook, bartenders, host and hostess. The food is amazing and I'm always trying something new. Never had a bad experience when coming here. Here lately I've been ordering the Ribeye (lots of people comment on the size of it), now my bf has been ordering it too when we come. Love the flavor of it and I can get 3 meals out of it lol. Even with all the COVID stuff going around, their service has been great. I took my sister and nephew and they loved the 3 appetizers we had plus their food. They want to come back. We live in Tuttle (prior was Del City then NW OKC) and I'd drive to eat there at dinner and lunch. I know if I'm craving something, I'll get it there and it always tastes good. It's been over 7 years since I've been coming here and still it's my go to restaurant.

This place has a very down-to-earth feel to it that is coupled with delicious food. You must come here if you are in Midwest City. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick. Make sure and try the chicken Parmesan!

My family and I come here all the time and we absolutely love it here! The staff is amazing! They take their time and make sure that everything is prepared just how you asked for it. They are very easy going and they all have great personalities. Support your family owned and operated businesses and restaurants!

I've been coming to this fine establishment since I was a child. Now I take my children here. The Monte Cristo is amazing. The spinach dip is delicious. I still have fun looking at the wall of cars. Definitely a place to try out if you've never been.

We love Chequers! They always have what we like to eat and it is always fixed to perfection. The atmosphere is cars. oil signs, and photos. There is a bar on site, most likely you will never know. They also have tvs playing sports programs.

Great food always fresh & delicious. Good size portions. Try the house dressing it's home made spinach (yummy) & we always get some to take home. Menu has big variety to choose from, but it all tastes great. I've been a patron for years & have ordered many of the menu items & was always pleased. Clean place, friendly staff, even serves alcohol. Nice for family night or date night but also great for lunch during the week & Sunday after church it's rocking. This IS my favorite place to eat. Oh yes, their take out is just as tasty & wonderful.We have never had any complaints. Go one time and you will see that you will be going back again.

The staff is always accommodating. The restaurant is getting old, but it has that neighborhood pub feel to it. They are always happy to make substitutions and are always patient and kind to my kids. They are happy to make things that aren't on the menu, as long as they are simple (they make plain buttered pasta for my kids all the time and can make sandwiches that aren't on the menu if they aren't busy) They charge it like a substitution. They are priced like a nice restaurant, and I think it's fair considering how willing they are to go out of their way for nice customers.

Pay zero attention to the recent 1-star reviews. Specifically Brianna Cope and the other similar reviews made by their fake accounts.

Not only did the staff go out of their way to make their “burnt” fried veggie basket for them again, they also took on an onslaught of verbal harassment and handled it all as they should have. Said tweakers who left the reviews even ordered a ribeye and tried to cancel it when it came out. They refused to pay, even after much reasoning with them. They were told to pay or the cops would be called. This didn’t sit well, so they’re trashing a well-established restaurant with 100% false accusations.

Eat Chequers! I promise it’s good!

This is my new favorite place in town! Excellent food at low, low prices! I'm talking about a killer $6 Monte Cristo overflowing with cheese and a large basket of fried goodies for $5. Get out of town! They must be stealing the ingredients or have a hook up in the criminal underworld black market meat exchange. But seriously, family environment, homey atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful pricing, and excellent food. 10/10 I would dine again!

I grabbed to go dinner from Chequers tonight and it was awesome! They even gave me extra gravy 😋 Chicken Fried Steak and mashed potatoes with a roll & salad (not pictured). Always get good food from here. It was easy to order online and it was ready for pickup 👍🏻

I have been a regular to this restaurant for about 5 years. It's a small business, the servers are absolutely wonderful people, and the food is great for its price! I heavily recommend getting a steak or burger at this restaurant. The way they season and cook their beef is just fantastic. I also recommend their cajun chicken pasta.

We haven't had a bad meal there. The cook and wait staff are the best!!! One of our favorites there is the steak and shrimp scampi. But for something more "comfort" like, their Potato soup is the best anywhere! Also, the spinach ranch dip/dressing is wonderful!

Amazing home cooked food at a very reasonable prices. Every time I come here for either to go or dine in everyone here is so sweet and so nice. 1st time I went they helped me with everything all my questions answered. This place is amazing 👏 and like I said food is sooooo good.

My favorite place in Midwest City to eat. I get the Egg Burger and Chips every time! The homemade chips are to die for and I am still curious on what their dipping sauce is, because its amazing as well! This place won't disappoint you!
