River's Edge

Excellent dining experience for me and my two picky teenage eaters! I had the Sis, my daughter had the chicken fried chicken, and my son had the "Trent" burger. They both had French fries as sides and I had the salad bar which was delicious 😋. My son told the waitress that his burger was the best burger he'd ever ate and the rest of our food was wonderful. However my favorite thing of the entire lunch was the bread! Lord knows I could eat 20 of those rolls by myself! We will be back! Hate that this was the first time trying it!!

Not sure what was better the food or the service! I got a special welcome from the new owner Chris. Awesome staff and amazing home cooked soul food! I had the chicken fried steak… to die for!

I live across state line from this restraunt in North Carolina. Never knew this place existed... Now on the map, radar and a place everyone should make a stop!!! Ordered Smoked Pork Boston Butt, baked Sweet Potato and fried Okra. This meal was extreme mouth watering good!! Also ordered a basket of fried Green Tomatoes. If you never had it.... dont hesitate to order, its very tasty. Food was excellent, service was above and beyond great. Please pay this family a visit... Home cooked meals at its best!!!

Best food and service I've had in Cheraw. The bread starter was delicious, the brisket had an excellent smokey peppered bark, and the BBQ sauce was homemade for sure. The red velvet cake was great as well, I wish I had more room in my stomach!

The Sneedsboro salad with grilled chicken and raspberry dressing was great. Our server Lorie was excellent. Very attentive and courteous.

Excellent food and service. We both got BLTs and they tasted amazing, the fried okra and french fries were also really, really good. The service was fast.

We get our cakes from here for every occasion… they never disappoint!! ❤

What a great restaurant located in downtown Cheraw SC. The sandwiches and plates are amazing. Desserts are great and freshly made. Service was very good and we never ran out of drinks. Everything is made to order, so don't expect the food to come out in 2 minutes. Parking on the street was OK and clse by. I highly reccomend Rivers Edge in Cheraw SC.

HIDDEN GEM... This place was 5+ stars. The atmosphere is very welcoming along with the friendliest staff you have ever met. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert. Hands down the BEST cake selections I have ever had. Period! Don't call yourself on a diet trying to eat cause you are about to cheat yes the food is THAT good.

Yummy! Delicious food. The turkey and Gouda sandwich was so flavorful. The chicken tenders were excellent. The deserts were worth the detour on our road trip. We tried the strawberry cake, the coconut cake and the red velvet cake. To die for!

Excellent restaurant and have always been happy with the food. Amazing desserts and the BLT is world class.

We were visiting from NC and this was one of a few places open that had great reviews. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We noticed that they knew most of the people coming in. Love those kind of places! The food was delicious! My husband got the ribeye and could NOT quit talking about how good it was! 😁. I decided to try the chicken Alfredo and it was wonderful. Best chicken I've ever had! We will certainly be visiting when we're in town again!

Great food, people, and experience. Their chicken salad on a croissant was very tasty as well as their fried okra and homemade cakes. Cindy, the owner, is such a lovely lady and as a traveler I enjoyed her genuine interest in me and making me feel at home. I will definitely be back to visit. God Bless!

Friends of mine had gone camping nearby River Edge suggested I try it. I went just this last Friday, October 2019 and have to say it was the best meal I have had and I’m serious when I say it in several years at a restaurant. I had the ribs they were absolutely perfect, perfect taste barbecue sauce was excellent the meat was tender as could be, along with a baked sweet potato which was cooked to perfection, and lima beans. Of course for dessert I had to get the Bavarian chocolate torte. I finished every bite of every morsel on my plate it was so good. If you want good food, good service, and very friendly help staff you’ve got to go to Rivers Edge restaurant.

Decided to splurge tonight. Got the Surf and Turf, 5oz Sirloin and 6 jumbo Coconut Shrimp. The shrimp were absolutely the best I have ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The Corn Casserole was fantastic, and the Citrus Cake was amazing.. Best meal I have had in a long time.

A lovely, downhome restaurant serving up traditional homemade southern cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Owners and staff are top-notch in every way. Prices are in line with quality and quantity of servings.

Great waitress today. Fantastic chicken salad got some to go it was so good! Peanut butter and apples soooo good. Broccoli salad awesome! Cakes great light and moist! Definitely going back. 1.5 hr drive well worth it!

Excellent food prepared by Amish people. The dessert selections are amazing. They also display and sell handmade quilts in the restaurant. My husband says we have to back there again. Cozy atmosphere.
