Preston's Restaurant

Very busy. I met some family here for dinner. We had a family member from out of town visiting! I got the blackened fish and broccoli 🥦. I also got a side of onions and bell peppers. On the menu it doesn't say anything about them being pickled. I have cut out sugar and I was very disappointed when I took a bite. My food was great otherwise and we enjoyed a nice dinner with family.

Ate here with my mom one night and we both LOVED IT. We'll definitely be coming back. The food was delicious and the staff was unbelievably kind. I can be pretty picky and was having a hard time picking what I wanted, but our waitress actually sat down and gave recommendations. She was super patient and nice. 5 star food, 5 star staff. One of my new favorite restaurants for comfort food.

Man, what a difference a location and better management can make!! It is night and day, the Prestons in Lexington doesn’t hold a candle to the Prestons in Leoma, knowing that I no longer have to go to the Lexington restaurant (ran by the rudest workers) is such a warm welcome!

At Leoma, the food is excellent and the staff is too, a better restaurant and better experience through and through.

Family style tables. Nothing fancy. Very good service and great food at fantastic prices. I ordered pecan pie, and because she felt the piece wasn't big enough, they gave it to me; and it was the best pecan pie ever. Fried fish was perfect. Next time I head that way, it will definitely be a road stop. Wish they were closer.

Celebrated my sister’s birthday there so we had a table of eleven. Amanda waited our table and did a stellar job!! Very attentive and polite! Everyone had an enjoyable evening! Thanks for the great food and service!!

excellent visit to Prestons. sevice was fast and efficient. order was served promptly and the food was OUTSTANDING. price was good for the meal. server Shannon was on top of her game . cant say enough good about this visit.

The food(no matter what you get) is always cooked to perfection and is reasonably priced. The service is outstanding. The menu variety is great. They have daily specials. Last night I had Cajun grilled chicken with broccoli. Yummy! They have a good selection of dessert. My favorite is the peanut butter cake.

Edit review: still my favorite place to eat In Lawrence County. The staff is always so nice and accommodating no matter what.

Amazing restaurant, amazing food and amazing service with the sweetest employees. I look forward to going back. The fish special on Tuesdays is where it's at.

They are the most consistently delicious food in town! Time and time again they replicate the dish that you had last time with no variation. And to us, that's a big thing. We find that consistently good food and service are hard to find in this neck of the woods. Moving from the city and having worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years, even opening stores for a large chain, my standards are relatively high when it comes to paying for food. I don't mind to pay for it but I want to know what I am paying for. But at Preston's, I don't have to even pay top dollar for the best around! Whether it's a salad, tea, dessert, or their incredible catfish.... you won't be disappointed! Money well spent in a business that has management and wait staff that work hard to make it what it is and that customers are satisfied everytime!

Friendly service and clean (even the bathroom). I ordered the catfish strips and got a lot more than I expected, and it was very good. My husband ordered the ribeye with baked potato, and got a sweet potato instead of the white potato, but he liked it. We will definitely go back sometime.

Love the fish (fried or blackened), chicken strips, salads, deserts, everything is good. Great place to take a group because there is something for everyone on their menu. Don't forget about their plate lunches - they're good too! The only drawback is parking. A little advice: if you have someone with you who is physically challenged, get there early to find a space near the door. And be VERY careful when trying to get out of the parking lot.

Food was great. Excellent prices and great waitresses. We will be going back there again soon.

Parking lot is always full , that is what caught my eye the first week we moved to the area. Not just one or 2 days a week but every day.
We went on a Friday night. It was fairly busy but our waitress was a pro. She did not miss a beat. We didn’t have to wait on her for anything matter of fact she had to wait on us! The menu wasn’t huge but it wasn’t basic either. It was actually intriguing. The didn’t overwhelm you with a million options their menu was literally sweet and simple. Burgers, fries, steak shrimp….
We went with the steak and shrimp special. It was amazing. The cook nailed it everyone’s order exactly the way they described it to the waitress. She was on it, didn’t miss a single detail.
So if your driving thru the area make sure that you make this a definite stop!

Great food, friendly service!!!

For 3 of us we all got the large fish plate, 2 teas and 1 water and it was $59 and some change. Everything tasted better today, not greasy and the hush puppies were great.

I had a bacon cheese burger..man it was great love there French fries service was fast plenty of food to choose from
