Were able to overhaul my fuji road bike quite well with some difficult tasks to perform that the “Fuji dealer” was unwilling or unable to do. These guys are the best for serious bike repairs in Houston.

Amazing team and unrivaled shop! Philip, Mark and team do it all — new builds, repairs, fitting sessions and much more. I’ve done two bike fits, service and several component upgrades based on advice and guidance from the team here. Would not go anywhere else for my cycling needs.

2024 Update : I just purchased a new bike from Shama and what a great experience, from the purchase to making sure the bike fit perfectly upon delivery. It was a great experience. They really know their stuff and really work hard to get to the best bike for their customers. I love the new bike and appreciate the great service!

An Amazing team. They moved closer to downtown. Kinda miss the 610 location since I reside in Oak Forest. Nevertheless, it's worth the drive to get honest, fair priced and second to none personlized service. Philip and the team are good people.

Philip fit me on my Cervelho P3x last year in preparation for and Ironman. His professionalism and understanding of the bike fit is amazing! He's made me more aerodynamic, while keeping me very comfortable for long distance racing. He also the only mechanic that takes care of my bike, from tune ups to anything and everything a bike may need.

Not only are Phil and the entire Shama team experts in their craft, but they take serious pride in what they do (and it shows). From bike fits and new builds to routine maintenance, they always deliver an extremely high level of service. Phil often goes above and beyond what would be necessary to satisfy a customer because he truly has their best interest in mind. Best bike shop in Houston hands down and wouldn't bring my bike anywhere else.

Top to bottom a fantastic experience. Came in for a Tri bike within a certain budget and Phillip built the best bang for your buck bike I could have dreamed about. The quality of service and communication before, during, and after the build is next level. He really cares about his customers and the sport; It's so awesome to see. Buying a bike can be scary and a big investment but Phillip will set you straight with an awesome bike that fits your wants and needs so I highly stopping here for all your bike needs!

They specialize in race/specialty bikes. However, they really came to my rescue by making a custom crankset. For my bike now it’s as good as new. I definitely recommend if your bike is ever need of repair. Check them out! Mark was a big help!

The staff here is so nice and helpful. Fixed my unique part issue very promptly. Not to mention the shop is a sweet place to chill and watch cycling races...with free cupcakes!

Fantastic bike shop! I recently had a fitting for my new Tri bike that I didn't purchase there. I have never ridden a tri bike before so I didn't know how it should fit and feel compared to a standard road bike. Phil was very knowledgeable and didn't seem annoyed at my basic bike questions lol. The price for the fit was very fair and I never felt pressured into buying additional things. Overall great bike shop and for me is worth the drive downtown.

Superb service! I had an amazing experience at Shama Cycles. Philip takes the time to make sure you are perfectly fitted on your bike. He goes over the top to make sure you are as comfortable as possible and takes his time doing so. Philip is a well known, respected cyclist in the community who is passionate about what he does and loves to share his experience with others. He offers great advice to beginners who are just getting into cycling. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the market for a new bicycle, bike fit or any bike mods. I will definitely come back for more.

Being new to biking, it’s very intimidating to walk into bike shops for help… but this one is different. These guys go out of their way to take care of anyone who walks into the shop.

I brought my bike in Thursday evening before a race this past week and had to get a cable replaced (didn’t prepare them for that) along with some regular maintenance… My bike was a mess, but they had it done in less than 24 hours. Thank the good Lord for these guys!!!

Initially, Philip helped me find the best fit for my bike. He made adjustments that worked with my body and build. Whenever I have any issues with my bike such as electronic shifters, flats, chain, gearing, etc. he finds the solution to fix it. I know I can walk away with my bike ready to ride!

I’ve been going to Shama Cycles ever since I started endurance sports. They always take great care of my bikes and get them ready for race day and events. Philip has also been fitting me on my bikes and always does a great job. Any tweaks I may need I can call him and get that squared away. Recently I’ve been wanting to build up a bike and Philip was able to get exactly what I wanted and get it done. If you’re in the Houston area his shop is the place to go!

I have come all the way from Fort Worth to buy my last two bikes from Philip and am couldn’t be happier. I would rather spend my spare time riding rather than researching all the options, and Philip does a great job helping me find the perfect build for my needs.

I contacted Phil at Shama after my long time favorite endurance style bikes electronic groupset died and he recommended an Argon18 that he speced out for me with some really nice upgraded components. Had it built in a short time and I met him for a fitting. His fitting was amazing. he looked at me and made a estimated seat height and stem length and we hopped onto the bike in the fitting room and he ended up tweaking my shoe cleats a couple of times and that was IT! He nailed it by looking at me and the bike. I now have the bike and I ride a 10 kilometer closed course pretty regularly and am averaging 1.0 to 1.5 mph faster average speed!
