Hill Country SPCA Trudy's Treasures Resale Shop

Although it comes up in searches for thrift stores, this is more of a high-end vintage store mixed with a small selection of thrift store items. For instance it has some furniture priced at over $1,000 and a small selection of used clothing and a small selection of the usual types of books, housewares and toys found in thrift stores. Some of the displays are worthy of an antique store. It raises money for a very good cause so it is worth a visit when one is in Fredericksburg.

07/2021 Edit: This store maintains the mix of high end resale store items and thrift store items they had 4 years ago.

Friendly, courteous staff with a great, eclectic selection and fair prices. I stop in at least once a week to survey the store and am never disappointed! They do a great job of merchandising and promoting sales specific to seasons and inventory.

Prices are usually pretty good, and selection is excellent. You really never know what you will find. It's a little crowded but that means there's loads of treasures waiting to be discovered.

Well organized and for a good cause

Found some neat. Some things were very high quality.

I would always drop $100- $150 every time I went (and I drove all the way from Austin just to shop there)
but someone decided to completely change the store into an upscale resale with pricing that is crazy for a thrift store!

The store is not worth visiting anymore.

I will not go back again. 😕😕😕
