Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center

In one word: Wonderful! I was admitted at Memorial Hermann Med Center on 6411 Fannin Street in late March of 2024 due to a fall on wood stairs, in horrible pain, couldn't move or breathe easily, with miltiple rib and transverse process fractures. It was around 1:30 pm and the ambulance EMT and paramedic guys (from the Bellaire fire station) were caring and professional, extremely gentle and polite, and left only after I was admitted fully in the care of the hospital. I cannot speak highly enough for the hospital team involved: Dr. Michael Alexander Vu (soft spoken, thorough and extremely caring professional), Chelsea Stratton, Ganiat Omotunwashe, Roy-Francis Riascos-Castaneda, Sheiva Shannon Vakili and Latifa Lilly Sanhaji, MD (the CT scan techs, nurses and superviser), all the nurses, I'm blanking out on the names, but you know who you are, especially the girl with the 2 younger daughters, Brooklyn and Stella! Huge thank you to all of you for making me feel better, despite the pain, and for treating me like a real human being, with utmost respect and care.❤ I hope all hospitals come to learn from yours and from this particular team of skilled and compassionate professionals!

The Emergency Care from my ER Nurse, Danny Warshauer accompanied by the attending Resident Physician with the on call Optomologist were very attentive, and gentle when assessing. I appreciated their efforts. Upon my return to Louisville my eye specialist, DR Richard Eiferman indicated that The work on behalf of my right eye was text book perfect. My nurse, Danny was very thoughtful and caring, he explained everything throughout my visit
His kind patience, and attention to detail, was
appreciated. He made sure that I got back to the waiting room area where I was greeted by my sister.Thank you Memorial Hermann Hospitalfor the best care!

The nursing staff have been very attentive to me. I came in for a heart procedure and I should have been monitored for 24 to 48 hours afterwards but I developed a bleed and I ended up being here a week now and all of the staff here have been great. Dr Hemetapours staff were excellent. Dr. Owen team has been on top of things.

My wife had brain surgery here and was consequently in the hospital several days. Overall I was very impressed both with the care and service that she received and how they treated me and our family. All of the staff were very friendly, caring and good at what they did. I liked that she could choose from a menu and it was delivered when she wanted it. She also thought the food was pretty good. Overall it was very good experience.

My family member was in your hospital for life threatening emergency care.We were delighted that he recovered in short time.You have an institute with best leadership, world renowned doctors and staff.Houston must be proud for having such jewel hospital.

As far as Cafè goes !!! Embers Grill 👎🏼female staff really rude ESPECIALLY THE TALL ONE. Terrible attitude this early AM. I felt very unwelcome. The only person that helped was a Gentleman when I asked for tater tot’s and Jelly. After I told her what I wanted she walked to the back as I was not done speaking and wanted tater tot’s. She seemed to feel bothered doing her job. Do better!!!!

Dr. Salman Arain, MD is an exceptional cardiologist who performed a life-saving surgery on my mother during the challenging times of COVID-19. Despite her diabetic condition, high blood pressure, and being ineligible for bypass, Dr. Arain provided her with a new lease on life.

His caring approach and clear explanations instilled confidence in my mother, leading to a speedy recovery. Dr. Arain's expertise and genuine concern were evident throughout the entire process. We are incredibly grateful for his compassionate care.

The staff at this hospital are world- class! They have taken such great care of my family member after a stroke. They consult and make decisions on care quickly and then follow through. Timing is critical with stoke victims and I contribute the rapid and continuing improvement in my family member, first to God, and second, to the amazing (God- given) skills and expertise of the Staff at MH.

My dad was transferred here and it probably saved his life. I'm from a small town with a small town hospital that doesn't know what the are doing if he would have stayed there another day he would have been dead

The Memorial Hermann on Fannin is an amazing place. The hospital is clean and accommodating. The staff is genuine and very caring. Especially the medical team that saved my son's life! Initially, I had waited a year for his transplant in a hospital in California. I decided to come to Memorial Hermann to find another transplant, but the doctor and his team came up with another solution. Thanks to Dr. Cesar, my son is now healthier and no longer needs a transplant. I can not express just how grateful I am to this doctor and his staff for coming up with another solution in a timely manner!

I was treated kindly and with respect. Even senior staff spoke to me and not the wall. I last spent the night there in 1956 or 1957. Saved my life both times.

I am usually filled with resentment when I leave a hospital. I don't like to be treated as an inconvenience, but I had come to expect it.

This visit to Hermann Memorial was the best hospital stay that I have had anywhere and I have had more than a few for a variety of reasons. In spite of the pressure of the pandemic all of the staff from the ER to the cardiac unit never left any doubt that the patient was the most important thing.

Dr Red Duke saved my life twice. A gunshot would to the chest and while performing surgery He found a clot that would have caused an aneurysm in my early to mid forties.

Fell in the street and broke hip. Exactly 24 hours later the put in a new total hip replacement. Great care through the whole experience

Our twin granddaughters were born here Feb 2023 and the overall experience has been phenomenal. Staff and NICU facilities have been incredible so far as well.

Delivered my first child and I had a wonderful experience staff was so nice and encouraging including the anesthesiologist for my epidural did not feel a thing in my experience I had a wonderful birth

My husband was referred from South Carolina for a very complicated 2 stage vascular procedure. I cannot say enough good things about the hospital,physicians and nurses. Everyone was very helpful and efficient in coordinating his care including the physician's offices. The nurses were phenomenal and even remembered him 3 months later when he returned for the second procedure! Just a GREAT place!

There is nothing negative to say about this hospital or it's staff.

The Jones Pavillion Burn Unit has the most amazing staff ever! I honestly don't think there is anywhere in the world that could have a staff of doctors and nurses that are even comparable to the ones here. I stayed 18 days in the burn unit, July 2015, and those people became my family ❤ They went above and beyond and were absolutely amazing. I think about them daily and care deeply for each and every one of them. It was a bittersweet day when I was discharged.
