El Viejo Tony Port Arthur

I had grilled shrimp tacos. One of my shrimp was not peeled. Shell on. I had already taken a bite and was chewing when I discovered this. I put that bite in my napkin. Knowing I have UC if I had swallowed it I would have ended up in the ER. After having pointed this out to the waitress she removed the grilled shrimp from our bill.
Great restaurant. Very busy. Not enough wait staff...

Wow! What a fabulous dinner. Started with GREAT service by Sergio. Drinks were AMAZING. The ribeye, American enchiladas and chefs special fajitas were on point. Table side guac by Sergio was also excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

The food and service are always good here, along with cold beer. However, this trip, the wife and I ordered queso with hamburger meat, and it was very watery. But, other than that, it was all very tasty.

This is one of my favorite Mexican food places in the area. That is saying a lot because there are a LOT to choose from around here! The food is fresh and the service is the best. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Staff are friendly, service is always great. Food is awesome and margaritas are great. Will come back for sure 😃

Red salsa is good but I like spicy salsa. I tried the spicy salsa and it was not good. I was surprised when I asked if they could blend more Jalapenos in their regular salsa and they did it. All I can say is thank you. You exceeded my expectations. I appreciate you putting up with my request. I'd definitely come back again.

It was my very first time here and I enjoyed it. The employees are very nice and attentive which I like. The restaurant is big and roomy. It’s a good place if your looking for tex-mex food. The beef enchiladas are very good! The prices are ok.

Literally the BEST restaurant in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area. (We haven’t been to the location in Beaumont yet). This was our first time visiting. The food was VERY delicious and the hospitality was the shining star of the experience. We went on a Sunday, so they had a live mariachi band that was very fun & took requests (with tip, don’t forget to tip y’all) and of course, the basic B that I am I had to request Un Poco Loco from Disney Pixar’s “Coco.” The band is very talented & playful. It was so much fun—and our waitress, Johanna, was so kind, courteous, and funny! She laughed at all my dad’s cringey jokes. So thankful we chose to eat here today. Can’t wait to go again and whip up the courage to dance to the music next time!

Excellent food and service. Almost never a wait time

My wife and I are all about Mexican food and I will tell you this is the best one in the local area. Parking is limited but the inside has plenty of room and the food is fantastic! Price is average, try the white caso... fanominal! Staff and management is always friendly and very family oriented, our boys love going here.

We love El Viejo Tony's delicious food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Hands down the best enchiladas I've ever had, I get their white queso (sometimes with meat-which is yummy), warm hot sauce and bean dip are brought to you, and they keep drink in your cup! Fast and friendly service!

I live in Florida now so good Mexican food is a thing of the past most of the time so any time I return to Texas I have to eat at a few different Mexican places. This place was very good. I can get a pretty good feel when i get chips and salsa and know for sure when i get the queso. If you can't make those you have no chance. The only thing i didn't love about the salsa was the big pieces of cilantro. I like the flavor but not the big pieces. Just a pesrona preference. Thw queso was very good. Now I didn't come in here looking for anything too tough, we got cheese enchiladas and chicken quesidillas. Both were amazing. My mother would approve. Next time I'm over this was will definitely be back. Not sure abiut the prices as I was treated by family but couldn't have been too bad.

We absolutely love this restaurant! It is our family go to. They have Great food and drinks! They are so friendly to the kids, they always help keep them entertained. They support the community! Couldn't ask for a better Staff!
